On Nov 12, a home invasion led to a 28 year old wife and mother being shot to death. From the news reports, it seems clear that the young woman was exactly the type of woman American men desire: pretty, slender and a mother in her twenties. I find this type of thing particularly disturbing, as its families like this that give our nation a future. She was pregnant with their second child at the time of her death.

Amanda Blackburn, 28, has been pronounced dead, the coroner’s office said. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday. Blackburn was critically injured during the shooting, which happened around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at her home in the 2800 block of Sunnyfield Court. The coroner’s office said Wednesday that Blackburn was on a ventilator and that it appeared her death was “imminent.” She has since been taken off the ventilator and the organ donation process is complete, the coroner’s office said.

Blackburn and her husband, Davey Blackburn, moved from South Carolina to Indianapolis in 2012 to start the Resonate Church on the north side. They have a young son and Blackburn was 12 weeks pregnant with their second child.

Let this serve as a reminder to always be prepared to defend your home and family, no matter where you live. The police will not do this for you. This applies double to urban dwellers in America and those affected by the Islamic invasion in Europe.

Easy measures that one can take:

1. Own a large, protective dog
2. Install a basic security alarm system
3. Own a firearm and maintain proficiency in its use
4. Have a plan in place to deal with a home invasion, such as gathering the family on the upper level and having a bedroom with a reinforced door.

This is the way females internalize news which is why they love stuff like Nancy Grey. This post was never about the crime but the optics of a young Christian blonde mother slain. It is a sad story but you do no justice using her soul as a platform to push ahead emotional positions.

This is how women consume media. It isn't a ejse habit to form as you loose ability to look at crtitically and rationally.

You should be asking...

How about the need for arms for self protection?
Was the area known for crime or was this random?
Many home invasions are targeted more then you would think..
Where was the husband and how were the neighbours a factor?
And, who puts out statements like that when thier wife is killed?

If your not then this isn't news. Accidents happen all the time and you make sure shit does not happen to you. Call me a asshole njt I don't weep when random stuff lime this happen. This would not be on the news like this if the victim wasn't some young blonde woman...

I don't see how it's a "stretch" to link violent crime in USA to ghetto thugs and in Europe to foreign invaders. I'd say you'd have to be willfully blind or have an agenda NOT to make that connection. With that said, I agree this is not thread worthy, but very few threads are.

1. Kosko is correct. Home invasions are often targeted.

2. I am a Christian, and I am also suspicious of GQ good looking young pastors. Take a young good looking man and put him in front of a congregation where he has near cult leadership power and you will have pussy temptation like only Leonado Dicaprio knows about.

Its happened before where pastors will go sex nuts and have their wives murdered or disposed of. Could very well be the case here. That is a jaded view, but certainly a possibility.

While this crime is indeed a tragedy, where exactly is the pretty young girl you are referring to? Her husband is almost 'prettier' than her.

I was going to say that a couple of days ago but fought the urge. But this Paris thing is got me all sorts of pissed right now. And the media doesn't help us at all. It is always spewing nonsense. The refugees are peaceful, blah blah blah, this woman is pretty. I bet her husband has a boyfriend.
