I could see your point if DeLuca was the one to air things out in a public forum in the first place. From what I can see he approached him privately through text. All that was necessary was to admit nothing and tell him to get lost. It should have ended there.

The fact that he felt the need to get into a dick measuring contest with DeLuca publicly on instagram is just childish. Just validates that he's a total attention whore. From reading DeLuca's comments in response to the picture he sounds like the garden variety blue pill guy and clearly doesn't know to expect that kind of thing from women. His response to that he would get more followers and that Dan was a bad guy was equally ridiculous. The truth is they are both in the wrong with how this was handled.

If the actual text messages were revealed I would like to see them and that would be the only way I could reconsider my take on this. Only way I could see that justified is if DeLuca continued to harrass Dan via text/calls after he was originally told to fuck off.

DeLuca doesn't really deserve much sympathy, it was mentioned earlier in the thread that he left his wife,the woman that helped him build his empire and stuck by his side for several years, for basically what amounts to an instagram thot.

I have no strong opinions about Dan Bilzerian, but I have to point out he did not pass BUD/S twice. He didn't pass it once. As far as I can tell he was medically recycled, and dropped near the end of BUD/S on his second attempt. I've seen it suggested that he was dropped for character issues, which seems the most likely to me since it was right near the end, but I don't know if that's true.

Even if he had passed, so what? Passing a selection for a special operations unit doesn't automatically make you a great guy or worthy of veneration, or even all that much admiration, except for your grit. And failing selection for a reason other than quitting or gross incompetence isn't a cause for scorn, or evidence that you're less-than those who pass. At least, not to people who know how those selections actually work in the real world.

You've been to selection or to any pre-selection program? I'm guessing not.
