According to TMZ, the pair officially broke-up on September 24th and Cathriona took to Twitter the same day to post a final message.

“Signing off Twitter, I hope I have been a light to my nearest and dearest,” she wrote.

Sources have revealed that the 28-year-old died of an apparent drug overdose as pills were said to have been found next to her body.

Cathriona is said to have written a suicide note that was addressed to Jim and mentioned their recent break-up.

Look at her point of view, she landed a man at the very top of the food chain, wealth and fame in the top .0000001%.

No way she could go back to dating normal men, that's a cataclysmic drop in lifestyle for her. She's a nobody now, so her last attention whoring move was to kill herself so she can permanently be remembered as being Jim Carrey's girlfriend. Losing social status is worse than death to women.

She was Irish, from a town with a population of 400. Here is how a childhood friend describes her:

A neighbor, who did not want to be named, said White moved in three or four months ago and that two girls helped her move her possessions the day she arrived. The neighbor said it seemed strange that she would be living there alone.

'We had no idea who she was. We thought she must be in the film industry to be able to afford the house. Maybe Jim Carrey was paying the rent for her? I never saw him around.

'I saw her on a few occasions. She would say hello but wouldn’t go out of her way to speak to you. Most of the people here have lived here for many years. She was very much the exception.'

Sheesh, that's everything right there. I'm sure many of us can relate, not to the stardom obviously, or driving a woman to suicide, but to the relationship dynamic...I know I can.

1. Chic wants to tie you down, and you're in a spot in life where you don't want exclusivity or be tied down.
2. Chic thinks she can change you, so she dates you a while. She's unbelievable in bed, does anything you want, cooks you dinner, buys you things. Unlike a stable relationship where sex gets worse, in this case sex gets better as she begs for commitment.
3. A few weeks or months go by, and she starts to realize she'll never have you.
4. She can't handle the ambiguity so she snaps and does something that will bring an end to the relationship.

In my case she just really pissed me off to the point I told her to leave and I never want to see her face again. In Jim's case she ended her life.

Sad. I want to say if I had that fame that I'd settle into a long term relationship with a 10...but then I suppose I have no desire to settle now, and it's not because I'm not getting good quality, I just really love fucking women...so I'd probably not.

It's unfortunate to hear about someone taking their own life. She must have been pretty hopeless to get to that point.

That being said, she was exactly my type physically... perfect for me. Mentally it looks like she was just as toxic as their rest them.
