Nothing special or remotely difficult about the poses she is doing. In fact, in the one where she is sitting on the floor you can clearly see she can't do the pose correctly because all of her fat is in the way.

Really - how can she, for example, bring her head to her knee with all that fat in the way?

No way she is doing yoga correctly and not burning enough calories to slim down. I had a few sessions with a good instructor (one who had actually studied in India) and I was in a puddle of sweat at the end. But 90%+ of the people doing "yoga" out there are a joke.

I'd rather through that money into a shredder. I cannot think of a less worthy cause then to teach people it's ok to not only be morbidly obese but to be proud of it.

If her website were geared towards showing the world how she took up yoga, started eating right, and inspired other women to do the same, I might consider throwing her $5. However all her followers are just participating in a giant circle jerk to justify their corpulence.

I do yoga 5 days a week. I end it in a puddle of sweat and I've been losing weight consistently. There's no way she's doing stuff right. Her belly is getting in the way, as another poster pointed out. She's not so much holding poses as she is leaning her fat in any picture except the one where she's holding herself up on her hands, which is a test of strength, not flexibility. I will give her credit for holding up all her body weight just on her hands if she's actually holding that pose for more than a second.

If she wanted to prove flexibility, she would simply need a picture of herself bending at the waist to touch her toes.

These fathletes are all attention whores.

Just like the ones who enter into decathalons/marathons and take selfies in atrocious looking spandex for their facebook or some womyn's blog. There's no way in hell a single one of these heiffers ever completes any of these events in any realistic way. If it's a marathon they are probably "power walking" the whole way at best with plenty of stops for lattes and cronuts.

This is easier with curved feet than with feet flat on the ground. It's just a squat. Yoga-style squats make your muscles burn because you move up and down as slow as you can handle, not because you can hold at the bottom.


She's turned her torso to her right, making this pose easier than intended.


The man is doing something more impressive than she is. On the ground she would be putting her right knee down for support. You alternate sides on this and pull your outstretched hand and outstretched foot away from each other while keeping your back parallel to the ground to stretch and strengthen the muscles along your spine. The only hard part here for a fat person is belly weight causing strain on the back, and she's getting outside help.


That's actually impressive, but as I said before, that's a test of upper body strength, not flexibility.
