On a lighter note...reminds of this:

Two fags are walking down the street together. One of them is carrying a midget. He looks at the other fag and says; "Hey. you want another drag off of this before I throw it down?"

Trying to put myself in her shoes, I can see how she's looking for security given how close she is to the end of her biological clock, and how much time she's invested in you. Right now she is pissed that she spent all that time on you, and now she's only got a few years left to pop out a kid and pass on her genes.

If she wants kids and you don't, then breaking up is the right thing to do. I don't get this "I don't wanna be the girlfriend" bullshit though. When it comes to commitment, getting married isn't gonna change anything. They're easily broken, so the level of commitment is no different than in a normal LTR. Marriage is meaningless in today's society. If you're religious, just do a private marriage. Seriously, if you want to be together, just be together. What would calling yourselves married change?

One of my best friends knocked up his girlfriend a couple years ago. They bought a house together and now they're expecting their second child. My aunt's stepson knocked up his girlfriend and they're about to move into my aunt's old house. For all intents and purpose, there's no difference between them and a typical married couple.

If a girl ever tried to trap me into marriage, but I wanted to have kids with her, I'd do what I could to allay her fears of rejection while playing up my commitment. "What would marriage change?" "I've been with you this long, and I'm in it for the long haul. I want you to be the mother of my children and grow old with you. We can have a ceremony if you want, but a piece of paper that says we're married isn't going to change anything. Why do you want to bring the government into our home?" Or something like that.

But anyway back to your situation. Sounds like you're on the right track. Save up some money, work on your game and style, and book a trip to the Philippines. Banana

Haha, that sounds like a good idea gypsy. She just wanted to feel secure and not be the girlfriend. As if getting engage would have provided a meaning towards her life. I feel like it's more a conflict of values. She was raised on the notion that if people aren't engage/married then it's nothing. I can say let's be together and thinking everything will be fine but if I get "You can't just tell me you love me. You have to show it. You have to fight for it. I fought for You. Im tired. It's getting no where. You don't want to show me what I'm worth because to you people ain't shit" then it's a lost cause. For hispanic people it's either get married or it's done lol, especially 34 year old dominicans.
