Absolutely, that's right!

But:

1. That 'trying to give the impression that you have money' implies
that you know that wealth talks and makes an impression on girls.

and

2. It's obviously easier to leave that impression if it's actually true.

Honestly, I don't think there's much disagreement between us all. I think we can all sign up to the following:

The more game you have the better.
The more money you have the better.
It's better to have both money and game, rather than just one.
To a certain extent money can make up for lack of game.
To a certain extent game can make up for lack of money.

Right, gotta go and earn some money.

I don't fundamentally disagree with you. I think we are talking past each other here.

No, I am not saying that without money you cannot get girls. Of course you can. Guys with money but no game can also get girls. The man with money and game does better than either of them.

Obviously a man with money but no girls is lacking something. The result speaks for itself. What he lacks is probably game (which I prefer to call character) as you say, although it could be looks/appearance which is sub-par.

I see male SMV as comprising 3 main elements. These are not totally distinct from each other . They also incorporate many sub-elements.

1. Character - includes what we call 'game' but is not limited to that.

2. Looks/appearance/physique/clothes

3. Wealth/Status

A positive change for a man in one of these areas tends to bolster him in other areas. For example, if he lifts weights and develops a better physique, then he might gain in self-confidence. Negative changes also have negative effects on the other elements. For example, a loss of wealth or income might lead to his appearance/clothes/health deteriorating.

Our mission - should we choose to accept it - as self-improving men is to get this virtuous circle of SMV improvement going in all 3 areas but we do it not just to get girls, but so that we live better well-rounded lives as men. For a well-rounded man girls are just a part - a very necessary and enjoyable part - of a life well-lived.

Thankfully, girls' SMV is very much simpler. They don't need to have discussions like this. They know what's what.

The challenge with this argument is that everybody is arguing degrees, no real absolutes. In order to determine which is more effective of money and game you must take end-members i.e. a person with all the money and no game and then one with no money and all the game.

Here's a relative comparison to help:

Bill gates looks like a square with no real desire for chasing tail so lets say he has no game. And let's state that compared to Bill Gates Roosh has no money.

Of these two, if they both wanted one girl and used what was available to them (game vs money), who would get her?

I agree with you that having both is best. It also depends where you are. Where I live the highest concentration of hot women is in the high-end nightclubs where bottle service is a basic. It's a superficial scene and money is king there.

I'm a technologist who loves Technology history. I have read extensively into Young Bill Gates' "dirty" past. He may be the only nerd on the planet who had some type of game. Although, he liked older women. But he owned, raced and went to jail with Porche 911s, did drugs, fucked women. WHILE running the Most Successful Software company ever for PCs...

Where I live is 65% American game 35% World game, and Resources are very important. You have a bike?, girls will notice and your SMV will increase a point. You have a car?, add 2 points there. You have a good job, and have actual availability to spend it on with your girl, Add 1 point more. I'm 6ft, decently looking, and girls barely care about that. I have improved with my game but as Roosh stated about EE, they don't give a crap about your looks.

So you having money isn't going to impress them alone, it will tick a box for them.

If you don't have the right look or right attitude, no amount of money can help you. Certain groups of guys are suffering big time here, despite having nice jobs, condo's, nice cars and money. I know many personal trainers who get more ass than high earning professionals.

Many forum guys have come here, raved about Tinder and the quality. Getting these girls out on a date is another matter.
