You could also say that women in countries like Russia and FSU, have less equality in the workplace than women in the west. Therefore, to have the possibility of a comfortable life financially, are more invested in their looks and their desirability around men. This would also highlight the disparity in looks between couples. The man with the women 3 points higher is obviously bringing other things to the table, in terms of resources, status etc.

Being honest, I feel a bit embarrassed when I read this question. Raising your attractiveness (SMV) is really fucking slow-moving work, with the exception of "choosing a different market".

I guess, since I was young and clueless, I:
1) Left Australia, didn't move to Toronto.
2) Wore presentable clothes (still have much further to go on this, but waiting on my bodybuilding work before I buy a bunch of new clothes).

2) Business research. A year ago I barely knew what 'business' was, now I'm working towards business attempts.
3) Learning language. Brutally hard, but I figure once I learn the first one, that'll help me with those women plus further language learning will be easier.

Unfortunately my attractiveness has also gone down a bit due to one area.
1) Jadedness. Too often, I look low-energy or 'down', because I don't have the initial excitement I had when I left Australia. Whereas before, I was eagerly going out on dates, was cheerful and excited to be meeting the girls, now I just don't care that much. I also go into dates or approaches with a tinge of apathy, a calcification that comes from the unpleasant tension of "is this going to blow up?", "is this going to be dropped a few feet from the goal line because of some bullshit?" Looking energized is an important part of being attractive -- girls can smell jadedness and it's a turn off. I'm hoping my excitement will return when I push further afield in the future.

Most importantly, I run accent game. In the Anglosphere, I know that as an Asian man, I have a significant penalty on SMV, if we're ranking on points I'd say -1.5 to -2, full stop. Testament to this, but also because I am still just a young beginner (21, just starting second year in RP/game), thus far in my journey, I have still not converted a "neutral" mark. That is to say, a random girl walking down the street. Everyone thus far, regardless of race (or Asian), has had some sort of prior proclivity towards Asian culture like anime, K/Jpop, travel there, learning the language, etc.

I've always been really good at accents and impressions for some reason, and I see no reason not to use these skills/talents to the fullest extent possible, "cheating" be damned. I would say in my case it pretty much adds those points back from being Asian.

Chiming in for my town - Singapore.

The country has been dealing with a large influx of expats, especially men. One thing it's done is increase the demand for local women, especially those of the Chinese and Malay ethnicity. What is under underpinning this logic is our supply of women haven't increased as much, while the demand side has increased due to more consumers. So expats and locals compete for the same limited supply of local women.

Since most of the local guys don't hit on expat women, this has resulted in a particular thirst for expat women of a particular age (usually those about to hit the wall). The expat women who came to Singapore for work alone--a minority relocate to Singapore for their boyfriends--seem to be having a hard time dating. That said, this lack of demand doesn't apply for attractive expat women in their prime - especially the attractive ones.

My hypothesis is that white women (over the age of 27, in the 5 - 7 attractiveness range) are more open to dating East Asian men. Someone should use Tinder as an unscientific way to test this:

• Perform a sizeable number of right hand swipes (n > 250)
• Track how many women of race, age & attractive you swiped right on
• Track my matches based race, age, and attractiveness
  

With enough participants generating data, it's quite possible we could literally map out the Sexual Market.

That's basically all Asian countries (China, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, etc) and this only happens if you're a native or look/sound the part (i.e. are Asian ethnicity). If you're a foreigner looking to score a one night stand, it doesn't happen.

Can't tell about China as I've never been there, but I can speak for Thailand. Among high girls, this question comes often. And it's part of Asian culture. Dating down is very frowned upon. We assign a SMV value to girls, and they do the same.

Post your observations about SMV in your town, including if you see couples that look like they "follow" sound rules of SMV or "violate" it. Describe what you see.

a few things I have done:
1. Notice my posture - I made a habit of maintaining an upright posture, and experiencing in "Alpha" body language.
A lot of guys I see just slouch. Its noticeable.
2. Appearance - Even from before my Red-Pill awareness, I've been dressing sharp to work (business casual). In Israel it is "more formal" than expected. I'm keeping it also for off-work time (unless doing stuff which makes no sense in dressing like that). You get noticed.
3. I flirt way more than I use to - this makes you higher value, since you have the social skills to do it.

I also always rock Rayban Wayfarers, with black lenses, regardless of weather (I like being a hot mystery man). When you combine them with a slim fitted white shirt (so that your breasts and abs can be seen, buy one size smaller) and jeans... Although I am far from looking like Arnie or Coleman, I have above average body for a guy in mid 20ties.


I can only imagine what will happen 365 days from now if I keep it up.

I listened to the first one. He has a few tidbits of truth but this is mostly exaggeration and ignorance of cars and the car business, and more importantly he is repeating a narrative. You have heard of narratives from SJWs who spew about rape culture etc. His narrative is far less dangerous but an unthoughtful narrative nonetheless. It's "nothing fancy is worth more than the basic version."

I differ with him not only about cars but about this philosophy which permeates his rant. I seek to live my life in an aspirational way and want to enjoy MORE comfort, more safety, and more innovation. What this guy is basically repeating is the tried Midwestern almost Amish view of prudent, spartan living. He doesn't see the folly in his own advice in Minnesota to young guys to get a bike instead of a car. Again it's not an "evil" philosophy as he presented it but taken to its extreme it would be.

German cars are safer, period. Mercedes and BMW consistently innovate and lead the industry. Lexus, which he lumps in together, are well made and finely tuned (and also safe).

He is also wrong about depreciation. The cars don't depreciate primarily because they are out of style. Most change style only every 7 years. How would that explain the difference of price according to him? The fact is with more miles comes more expense. If a new car is $100,000 and another one has 2000 miles it cant be worth the same as long as the buyer has the new option. The same car 15 years old and beat up and in need of repairs is $2000 not because primarily it is out of style but because it is much more of a liability.

He is partly right about the don't buy a car to impress girls bit, clearly if you are thinking only to impress girls you will magically attract gold-diggers. Where he misses the mark is: DO buy cars to GO ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS AS A MAN. Then the car, the man, the business, the game and attitude are a part of who you want to be and what you want to accomplish rather than chosen based on the perceived judgment of others.

If it is part of what you want for yourself is to do is drive a NEW Mustang and it is worth the money (and the opportunity cost of that money not being available for other consumption or investment) then do it.
