Just imagine how bad that piece of clothing must smell after eating and spending the entire day with it over your mouth.
Like a giant used maxi pad. You see them shuffling around Bangkok quite a bit. I've only been in close proximity to one just once and you could smell the funk covered up with heavy perfume.
It also soaks sweat, dust, bits of food, and combine that with the diet of your average fat arab it will reek for sure.
Quote:Erdogan holds mass celebration on Ottoman conquest anniversary
Huge crowds took to the streets of Istanbul to celebrate 563 years since the Ottoman siege that conquered the city. In a speech, President Erdogan used the occasion to condemn the US, Russia and Iran.
Tens of thousands responded to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's latest attempt to stir up national pride on Sunday by participating in a massive rally to mark the conquest of Constantinople by the Ottoman Turks. Fireworks, huge parties and a public speech by the president were all part of the 563rd anniversary celebrations.
For Erdogan's part, he used the occasion to slam foreign powers for their presence in Syria.
"What business have Russia and Iran (in Syria)? What business do the US soldiers, dressed up with the so-called patches of a terror organization, have there?" he asked the crowd, referencing photos that surfaced earlier this week wherein some American troops have donned the insignia of a moderate Syrian militia. The group has ties to Turkey's outlawed Kurdistan Workers' party (PKK).
US officials have responded by saying the soldiers were not authorized to wear the patches, and had done so without permission.
Quote:Turkey celebrates Istanbul conquest anniversary
Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan Sunday described the Syrian regime, the terrorist group Daesh, and the terrorist PKK-linked PYD as a trio which "constantly supports and paves the way for one other".
Speaking at a celebration of the 563rd anniversary of the conquest of Istanbul, Erdogan said the two groups and the Syrian regime co-exist and "cannot survive without one another".
"Unfortunately, the countries we see as allies overlook this dirty game, [and] even support it," Erdogan said. "Those who use Daesh and drench Syria in blood, and likewise those who use the PYD and try to surround our southern borders, have one goal in common: namely, to sever all of Turkey's ties with the Middle East and North Africa."
"Nobody is strong enough to separate us from our lands, from the region of Thrace, or from the Mediterranean, which we claimed after the conquest in 1453," the president added.
Also speaking at the celebrations, Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said Turkey should "once again stand up with the spirit of the 1453 conquest and be united with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan."
"The conquest means to rise as a nation and re-write the history. Conquering of Istanbul means to close an era and start a new one," Yildirim said.
Quote:Turkey’s Continued Siege of Constantinople: Insulting Celebration of Greek Bloodshed on May 29
May 29 marks the 563rd anniversary of the siege and capture of the magnificent Christian Orthodox city of Constantinople, the eastern capital of the Roman Empire, to the forces led by the Ottoman Turkish Sultan, Mohammed (Mehmet) II. A dark day in history, the invading Ottomans defeated the army commanded by Byzantine Emperor Constantine XI Palaiologos after a 53-day siege.
After the conquest, the city was plunged into darkness as the capital of the Ottoman Empire. Thousands of Greeks fled the city with the majority migrating to Italy, helping to fuel the Renaissance.
More than half a millennium later, the Turkish government continues to celebrate the fall of the city, today’s Istanbul, with religious, sports and media fiestas. This year’s events are greater than ever with more than a million people set to witness the festivities held by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his new sidekick, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim.
The main element of the celebrations is hyperbole, as the Erdogan government wants to exploit the Fall of Constantinople and use it as a show of strength. Like a modern-day Mehmet, who took the title “the Conqueror” for himself at the age of 21 years. By exploiting a dark day in Greek history, Erdogan wants to promote secular nationalism embedded with a religious message about the fall of Constantinople as a sign of Islamic jihadi victory over Christianity.
Kemalist governments have long understood the fall of Constantinople as a signature event for Turkish nationalism. Visitors to Istanbul today will see a city draped in flags, with Turkish fighter jets known as the “Stars of Turkey” flying above. 563 musicians – as many as the years since the fall of Constantinople in 1453 – will perform Turkish victory songs.
A huge 3D Imax screen, the largest in the world, will feature simulations of the siege and conquest presenting the Ottoman jihadists who spread panic, terror and darkness as heroes heralding the birth of Islam in Istanbul. Fireworks will fill the skies in a bedazzling spectacle.
The festival is a serious event in Turkey. For this reason, 520 experts were commissioned to design and execute the spectacles in which 1,200 people will take part. Volunteers this year were double those in the past.
Muslims Protest Outside Hagia Sophia to Convert It Into a Mosque
Thousands of fanatical muslims gathered at the square outside Hagia Sophia in Istanbul. Reading the Quran, they demanded they be admitted inside the monument that is now a museum, so as to pray. Dogan news agency says that they called out messages, such as “Break the chains. Open Hagia Sophia.”
“In the name of thousands of our brothers we demand to be allowed to pray inside the Hagia Sophia mosque,” said Salih Turhan, who organizes the demonstration at around the time of the anniversary for the Fall of Constantinople every year.
Hagia Sophia, meaning Holy Wisdom in Greek, is a Byzantine church, which also served as a mosque for more than 450 years before it was turned into a museum more than 80 years ago. The basilica was built in the sixth century and served as a Christian cathedral for more than 900 years before it was converted into a mosque in 1453 as a symbol of Ottoman victory over the Byzantium.
Quote:The idea of redemption through love is omnipresent in the Christian universe. In Islamic, there are only a mother's love, the love of God. In love, the women hide. The woman herself does not matter. Love is precisely what fights Islam.
Quote:Sansal: Yes. After the attack on "Charlie Hebdo" was different. The majority could muster understanding. They had, after all, operated blasphemy. They said it was not right to kill, but look, what they did ...
Welt am Sonntag: You have provoked like the girl in short skirt his rape?
Sansal: Yes, and because of this logic people have not roused by the attacks in January. The Bataclan, however, was an Islamist attack, because you attack the other for what he was, for its culture, for his lifestyle. This was a place for young people, such as the bars, the stadium, places that make up the West. But this process of awareness to provoke the Islamists precisely. They know they can not militarily defeat the West. You can not even defeat the weak Arab states. So they have to bring the West to self-destruct. They want the company split, and they know that if they succeed, it falls all by itself in on itself.
Quote:Welt am Sonntag: We have added a million mainly Muslim refugees. What is your forecast for Germany?
Sansal: Germany was completely naive. And in the long term, Germany is the country that is most at risk.
Welt am Sonntag: How naive?
Sansal: Because Germany has imagined long time to be not affected by the problems. Islam, who was in France, in the UK, but not with us! And then Germany is an extremely tolerant society due to the war experience. This is exploited. As the Algerian Islamists were driven out, they have found in Germany shelter because they were recognized as political refugees.
Welt am Sonntag: What evidence would you give that this war of cultures is already under way, also in Germany that the Islamisation of society progresses?
Sansal: The clearest evidence is the "Bataclan". They have attacked no barracks, but a concert hall, because they do not want a classic takeover but result in a clash of civilizations. Second, you should just take a look at the Arab world, where the struggle is conducted entirely unanimous and undisturbed.
Quote:Sansal: Erdogan behaves like a Caliph, the Turks behave like subjects, and he has already built a palace. The Ottoman Empire was undoubtedly the most violent caliphate of the Islamic world. Currently we are experiencing a return of violence. Erdogan wants to establish the caliphate, but he knows that the Arabs would never accept this. Perhaps he imagines to extend his empire to Europe. For this reason, Germany is most at risk.
Welt am Sonntag: You mean because of the Turks or because of the refugees?
Sansal: Neither. Because all Europeans cherish resentment against Germany. Germany is rich, influential, extremely well organized. People dream of nothing but the crash of Germany. A nightmare complements the other. And Erdogan's nightmares share in truth many Europeans.
Welt am Sonntag: When you think that at the end, that would mean we would be living under Erdogan Caliphate in Germany. That sounds completely absurd. Is Europe so in the end?
Sansal: Yes. It no longer has any future.
Welt am Sonntag: Can you tell in Europe yet, what do you think?
Sansal: No. It's over. On the one hand it invites me, because you want to hear other opinions that are not politically correct. At the same time you are afraid that I make trouble.
Welt am Sonntag: What should you not say?
Sansal: That tells you no, that is much more subtle. But everything Islam criticized makes problems. As if one may criticize everything today, even God but not Islam.

Don't know if they translate it into english. Its a great interview and I'm always amazed about the analytical critics from former muslims about the danger of Islam but how naive western politicians are. And they are not only naive, the citizens behave like this too. Nothing matters in our western societies any longer. There is no resistance because there is no spirit that drive people to resist.

Quote:Some Dutch residents are outraged after finding out that a few cities have been offering as much as €10,000 to refugees to buy furniture and other necessities, local media reported.
Asylum seekers who get allocated to certain towns in the Netherlands may get as much as €10,000 to buy furniture for their homes, according to research carried out by the daily Brabants Dagblad (BD).
Talking to the local authorities, Brabants Dagblad found the sum of money varies in different municipalities.
While Oisterwijk, South Netherlands offers as much as €10,602 for a family with two children, in other cities, such as Bernheze, Schijndel Veghel and Sint-Michielsgestel the same family may receive around €3,500. Boekel offers the smallest amount of €2,200.
BD also said that some cities require refugees to pay the sum back, while others, such as the most generous Oisterwijk consider the money “a gift."
Leader of the right-wing populist Party for Freedom (PVV), Geert Wilders said the whole situation is “discrimination” against Dutch residents, urging Dutch Deputy Prime Minister Lodewijk Asscher and the public prosecutor to address the issue.
“Hey Asscher and Public Prosecutor, why don’t you address this discrimination? For a ‘refugee’ but not for the Dutch?” he tweeted.

Quote:Paris (AFP) - Already suffering from the impact of last year's jihadist attacks, tourism in Paris faces a fresh challenge from the recent wave of violent strikes and protests, tourism bosses warned on Monday.
Hotel bookings by Japanese visitors were down 56 percent in the first quarter of the year compared to the same period in 2015, while Russians were down by 35 percent, the city's tourist board said.
Chinese tourists had been a major driver of growth last year -- reaching a new record of 1.2 million -- but their numbers had also dropped by 13.9 percent.
"The start of 2016 is still feeling the disastrous consequences of the attacks in 2015," the tourism board said in a statement.
France is the world's most visited country, but tourists have been scared off by the November attacks in the capital that left 130 people dead and the January 2015 killings at Charlie Hebdo magazine and a Jewish supermarket.
While the atmosphere in Paris had returned to normal in recent months, an outburst of social unrest over controversial labour reforms has once again put doubts in tourists' minds.
Three months of student and union-led protests have descended into violent clashes between demonstrators and police around the country.
"The scenes of guerrilla-type action in the middle of Paris, beamed around the world, reinforce the feeling of fear and misunderstanding," the tourist board said.
Unions have threatened to disrupt transport for the millions of visitors to the Euro 2016 football championship which kicks off across France on June 10.
"There is still time to save the tourist season by putting an end to these blockades that are being shown the world over," said Frederic Valletoux, head of the Paris tourist board.
"It's the entire tourism and leisure network that is penalised. The challenge for employees is immense because 500,000 of them depend on the sector in the Paris region," he added.

The Japanese often picture Paris as a land of dreams, the land of beauty, culture, romance, and French people. However, they soon find out the contrary when they visit Paris for the first time. They find it to be a very regular place, the facilities are disorganized, the population is largely non-white, many areas are unclean, and life characterized by noise, not like what was in their imagination.

The most pathetic thing is the amount of energy these phags can muster to protest stupid labor rules compared to the utter and complete apathy with which they meet rape, murder, and the wholesome destruction of their country by invading foreign hordes.

One of the best ways to maintain a strong people is for them to know why and how they came into being. You don't build great nations by opening the gates wide open to murderers, thieves, rapists, and monsters. They are built over generations of strong male leadership, a suppression of constant female sophistry, bonds of blood, bonds of comrades, and a desire to live well. What I have seen in the current university climate is a bunch of young women trying to look at history made by great men through their own blurry and scratched lens. The vast majority of the people in my classes were women. They can sit and listen to lectures about the work of men and then some little tid bits and presentations about women warriors or feminist leaders and other slop. They won't grasp the sheer amount of effort that was made just so they could have the freedom to cluck away in classes. They just don't care. I met one woman, in her forties in my class that actually addressed issues faced by men currently but the majority of the women in class were typical of the generation. There's just not an emotional attachment to the history.
