It's such a shame they had to cancel the speech. I know Roosh was really bummed out about it.
We had actually got the conference room and had started sitting down when the hotel manager (Owner? I couldn't tell, it was a woman in a suit with a pretty serious look on his face) came in and started quietly talking to Roosh. I honestly think she was a little scared we were going to jump on her and rape her on the spot, which is absolutely ridiculous. There was a fat security cop standing like 4 feet behind her with who had his hand on his (gun? tazer?) the entire time. Roosh argued a bit, but a few minutes later he spoke to the entire crowd and said we had to go, that the speech had been canceled.

I was a bit worried we'd be met with a ton of protesters when we got outside (I'd actually gotten there about two hours early just to avoid the possibility of some dumb slut taking my photo and posting it on the internet) but there was nobody there. I guess the hotel had just been following the tweets going on all day and decided they didn't want anything to do with it at the last second. It's pretty sad that they believed that garbage.

Roosh was pretty bummed about it, I know. There were a good 50 or 60 people there who'd come to hear him talk. I saw Quintus Curtius muttering about human rights violations, and it sounds like he's going to file some kind of suit against the hotel. Whether that works out or not, I don't know. Canadian law isn't something I know anything about, but I do hope the hotel suffers some kind of financial penalty for this bullshit.

The group's mostly broken up, a few of the bigger names from the forum (I think I saw Tuthmosis and Matt Forney there) have gone off with Roosh to some bar or another, but the majority of us are just heading back to wherever we came from. There's no way we can find a venue this late in the day, and with the massive mob out to get us, holding it in a park just isn't feasible.

Thanks to everybody who tried really hard to make this one a success, and even if this didn't go well, let's hope the toronto one does. Roosh has promised to refund everybody's money, so at least there's that.

Congrats guys, we won.

The speech is finished.

It was held at a venue on the outskirts of Montreal, far from the city centre and it was held this morning. There were a lot more than 40 men there, closer to 200. That number was simply put out to throw protestors off, and I believe it worked. As any frequent poster here knows, Roosh's following in Montreal is huge, the feminist shitstorm is abysmal there and Montreal is always a hot topic of discussion here. 40 men only? In Montreal? To see Roosh?

I won't say too much more, I'll let the man himself have the honors, I presume in an hour or two.

How do I know all this? I was part of it. Two old college buddies of mine manage a small lodge on the outskirts of Montreal, I connected the two and bam. It was done. I've just got of Skype with them and they said Roosh was applauded for a good two minutes non-stop when he took stage. We are making waves gentlemen. The speech was recorded and I'm hoping it will be released on the forum after his tour.

Onto Toronto fellas. Have a shot, hit the streets, approach a 7+ and bathe in the satisfaction of victory.

100% truth. I haven't spoken to Roosh but I do have people at the event and they said it all went smoothly. Coincidentally, not a single woman works there except for two elderly cleaners, so confidentiality wasn't a problem.

Onto Toronto, this one is going to be a shitstorm. Montreal was merely a warm up fellas. I don't have resort-owning friends there but I do know a couple of guys with some money and we're formulating a battle plan as we speak.
