I live here. It's still blocked.

It was really easy to get past the block though. All I had to do was download the zenmate extension for chrome. No changing any settings after that or something complicated, just added one extension and the entire block was gone.

The ease at which I got past this block makes me believe that the isps weren't taking this too seriously.

What is scary though is how much power the government actually has where they can stop a massive population from viewing a particular piece of information. I guess this is the kind of shit that happens in North Korea.

I support this government. I voted for Modi. However you're under the wrong impression that they're concerned with feminism. It's huge in India among the millennial generation.

For a forum where people pride themselves on not falling pray to what the establishment says some comments here are beyond embarrassing. India DOES NOT have a rape problem despite what the White feminists back home want you to believe. It doesn't have a well developed gender equality system yet but on the whole rape is as much of a problem in India as it is anywhere. No please don't give me your crappy re-buttals we had a CSR dealing with this with people who knew what the f**k they were talking about.

That said the new govt. is completely right wing who'se economic policies will accelerate India's growth and allow them to break into the first world faster than expected. The problem with the right though is that their social outlook tends to be backward as fuck. Just look at Trump. The good news is that there are enough forward thinking Indians who can stand up to them and it is them who have managed to reverse this absurd policy.
