Average penis size revealed in study results

The numbers should help “reassure the large majority of men that the size of their penis is in the normal range”, said British researchers who had assembled data from studies where participants had their member measured by a professional.

The team then used the collated numbers to devise a graph that doctors can use in counselling men with “small penis anxiety”.

In the worst cases, men may be diagnosed with body dysmorphic disorder – a debilitating psychological condition that can lead to obsessive and anti-social behaviour, depression and even suicide.

In reality, only 2.28% of the male population have an abnormally small penis, said the study – and the same percentage an unusually large one.

The study participants were men aged 17 to 91 who had their penises measured in 20 previously published studies conducted in Europe, Asia, Africa and the United States.

The team found no evidence for penis size differences linked to race, though most of the study participants were of European and Middle Eastern descent and a full comparison could thus not be made.

Nor did the researchers find any convincing correlation between a man’s foot size and the length of his manhood.

They acknowledged their results may have been somewhat skewed by the possibility that men who volunteer to be examined may be more confident in their penis size than the general population.

The team said their work, published in the BJU International journal of urology, was the first to combine all existing data on penis length and girth into a definitive graph.

The information may be useful for reassuring men worried about their size. But it may also have the unintended effect of denting the egos of those who thought they were abnormally well-endowed.

Doctors may also use the graph to help men find well-fitting condoms, said the team.

More men need to know the actual science and stop being emasculated by fake porn, online trolls, and the insidious media. Oh, and women. Find me a woman who can blindly draw a seven inch line and I'll find you a unicorn.

Women have zero idea what an inch is visually. In every instance where the topic has come up with one of my ladies, every single one of them has overestimated by up to 3 inches. Thats fine with me, but it goes to show they have no idea. They neither know nor care what the technical size is. They just know that it feels good (or not), and if its "big" to them.

When I first saw this, I assumed "penis propaganda" was a phrase devised by feminists to criticize anything male-oriented in education.

I can just see them now on college campus, running around screaming "I'm being triggered in class because all they teach is that...that...penis propaganda!!

You can laugh now. But it won't be funny in a few years when someone proposes that Title IX should be applied inside classrooms and this prompts colleges to enforce a "balance" in the male-female subjects they teach. Out will go Jefferson, Franklin and company and in will come a bunch of imaginary female "innovators."

I already see this happening with Google's logos for holidays and birthdays. They ignore anything genuinely historical (i.e. men) in favor of obscure women who supposedly changed history. Someone at the company probably sent a memo out about how to avoid "Penis Propaganda."

We all know that most men report their stats bigger then they are, but I sometimes wonder if these studies report stats lower then they are?

Because I am myself in top 5% of men according to this chart and I find it somewhat suspicious. I am of average height and no woman has ever said that mine is especially big or anything. Well they have said it is big but I have taken it just as them being polite and sweet talking. They have never said it is especially big or talked about it in length. Also everyone in this forum says they are gifted according to this chart and this forum is more credible then others.

Then again I sometimes have had to excuse myself and go to restroom not because I must take a piss but because I must adjust my penis who has gotten too big and uncomfortable in my pants? Is this normal and happens to you guys often too?

Could it be that this study is screwed by Asians? Most men in the world are Asians, but Asians are not really a competition for most of us right? If you live in a country where most men are white or black then despite the fact that somewhere there is India and Korea with scores of short peniled men your direct competition is still about as large as you.

Ok, on a serious note, occasionally it does get uncomfortable or bulging but I would never go to the restroom to fix it. Just turn around for a second and pretend you are adjusting your belt or something.

Of course if you are wearing speedos, you might be in a bit of a bind...



For the record I have an average (though above-average if you're judging by this chart) penis; it only looks huge because I'm a small person.

I have pretty much an average length member, good better than average thickness helps though.

To be honest as I approach my 50's I'm just glad that it still works just as well as when I was in my teens/ 20's.

I think so.

There was a huge global study on penis size recently and let's just say...our Asian brethren didn't fare too well.

I live in a high immigration city and compared to ten years ago, I find it almost impossible to find size 13 (US14) shoes in bricks and mortar shops...it can only be due to a massive influx of little fellas with tiny feet.


An oft ignored benefit to us indigenous people's of high immigration...relatively large schlongs!
