Also wondering if Renner has a bit role in this - would be suprised if he joined it without a leading part of some sort given how big he's gotten.

I think they are/were lining Renner up to take over the role when Cruise steps down. Problem is that Cruise doesn't age so that guy will be long dead while Tom is still doing his own stunts at 120 yrs old in Mission Impossible 12. The person who will take over this role still has another ten years before they are even born.

In that case I'll never get the role then.

Isn't there 5 MI films already? I have a lot of catching up to do before I watch this new one.

RE: Mission Impossible
You don't need to see the first 4 to enjoy the 5th.

The opening of the movie does enough to fill you in on what you need to know to just enjoy it. Just don't expect Shakespeare.

Fate whispers to the warrior, "You cannot withstand the storm." And the warrior whispers back, "I am the storm."

There's really a dragon in it?

I liked it well enough but I guess I seriously underestimated the financial requirements of international terrorist groups...and Tom Cruise's ability to quickly memorize. Is that one of his Scientology super powers?

RE: Mission Impossible
The way I see Ethan Hunt is a brash unrefined wannabe James Bond who doesn't fuck bitches because he is married.

Mission Impossible was great but all sequals have sucked ass.

And what's with the Chubby Short Legged british woman? Is she supposed to be hot?

Only online sporadically, please keep in mind if you send me a personal message that I might not respond
