She is a perfect example of why modern conservatism and Christianity will never reset the system or be a savior. The only difference between feminist/progressive/SJW women and conservative women is where they stand publicly on issues like abortion.

Take away the one or two hot-button issues like abortion, which is largely simply used to signal their perceived worth to men in their respective social circles because with leftist women it signals that they are sluts/freaks and with conservative women it signals that they are family oriented even though both sides are the biggest hypocrites to how they act in their own lives on these and many other issues, and there really isn't any difference between the NYC progressive slut and the got-dicked-by-a-random on Friday and Saturday night Sunday church slut.

None what-so-ever. I really realized this when the daughter of my former preacher went off the rails. She got into drugs and got knocked up and had a shot-gun wedding and within a year she got arrested for abusing her husband, got divorced, and went in and out of rehab. It not only shocked me to learn this, I grew up with this girl who is only a few years younger than me and comes from a really educated, and liberal, upper middle class family, but it shocked me even more how the congregation and other people acted when they found out about it. These were fairly socially conservative people (who are fairly liberal on a lot of issues), especially my mom who would have disowned me if I got a slut knocked up, who were totally accepting of this.

Which is worse for civilization -- a woman's becoming a single mom, or a woman's remaining childless? By starting childbearing early, Bristol has managed to have three kids, which is more than a lot of women who waited till marriage can say. Women need to have more than two kids, or our species will die out.

Now, could Bristol have gotten married at 20 and THEN started having kids? Theoretically, but as she started making those plans, people would've said, "Isn't that irresponsible of you? Neither you nor your husband have a college degree, so you're just going to end up mooching off parents or the government." People would have had less sympathy for any financial difficulties she ended up in, because they would've figured she deliberately created the situation.

On the other hand, if she says, "Oops! I didn't mean to get pregnant outside of marriage, but it just happened that way," people will say, "Oh, we better help you out, now that you've gotten into this unforeseen bind." It's kind of like how manslaughter is punished less severely than murder. If you just stumble through life accidentally causing problems without malice aforethought, people treat you with more lenience.

The downside of marriage, too, is that if your wife decides to leave, she has to blame you for the breakup because, given the promises she made, it would be considered morally wrong of her to just dump you for no reason. She has to accuse you of abuse or whatnot in order to have an excuse to leave. Your reputation then gets trashed.

On the other hand, if you get a girl pregnant via one-night stand, she can just say later, "I was young and dumb and did impulsive stuff" rather than blaming you. So in that sense, it's actually superior to impregnate a girl through a random fling. (Unless of course she decides to accuse you of rape just to be sure that she gets custody.)

Of course, we could just have a traditional society and not allow divorce, but when I propose that, people look at me like I'm crazy and say, "What century are you from? The fact that you want to propose that kind of male dominance over women suggests that you're trying to compensate for some kind of insecurity. If you respect women, you won't have to worry about divorce."

Bristol Palin was sending a very subversive message of, "Teen girls, if you accidentally-on-purpose get pregnant outside of marriage, you too can spin it as a positive by saying that it served the greater good of being an example for other girls to avoid."

It's kind of like if teenage boys were to tell the judge, "Your honor, I'm just glad that my pouring maple syrup on that grandmother can serve as a lesson to others of how they shouldn't act. In light of this public educational service I have provided, I ask that I be sentenced to time served.
