Some questions about Japanese women in Japan
Lexicon:
早大: Waseda University, famous private institution in Tokyo
東北大: Tohoku University in Sendai, northern Japan. It was the oldest school in Japan to accept foreigners, and has 1,400 international students today, the highest of any national university in the country. (Tsukuba U is second, Kyushu U is third.)
ソフィア: Sophia University, a Catholic university in Tokyo that has close ties to the Church.
同大: Doshisha University in Kyoto, linked to the the mainline sect United Church of Christ which is the largest Christian denomination in Japan.
大和撫子: Yamato nadeshiko, viz. "Stepford wife".
かわいいです: "Kawaii desu"; かわいい ("kawaii") is a catch-all term for cutesy behaviour that J-girls exhibit, like high pitched voices and an obsession with cuteness.

Hello,

I am quite grateful for the advice about Mexico from the community. Now I'd like to ask about a country with which I have been enamoured for years: Japan.

There's a lot about Japanese culture and the place of women in it that I don't like, and I am attracted to J-women who break cultural norms. I have examples listed below, and note that I'm just talking about personal preferences; I'm not expecting to meet a J-woman who checks off every one of these points. I should also mention that I'm aware me being black may limit my pickings--Japan doesn't have the racial superiority complex of South Korea, and the hip hop subculture is fairly big in Tokyo which helps things, but brothers are still seen as inferior by a shockingly large number of people in Japan; they're just more polite about it. A very different scene from my hometown of Vancouver, where it's like shooting fish in a barrel for brothers who dress well.

Speaking of Vancouver, the word is that the hip hop lifestyle is big among the Korean and Japanese international students and ESL/exchange students, and it's not uncommon to find K/J-girls with a fetish for brothers. I can't confirm this, however. And I've heard from a local lair member who has done lots of travelling in east Asia and boned a fuckton of EA international students in Van, is that they almost never live alone or even have a private room to themselves. Quoting him:

Quote:...do whatever it takes to get your own place, or at least some sort of living space with a private room. Even if it's a one-room shithole, it's better for logistics than living at your parents' place. Most of the international students you will be dating are sharing a room with several other girls, in some cases sharing the same bed. So if you have a private room, even if it's just a closet, it's better than nothing. And better than a public washroom or whatever. Do whatever you need to do to get a private place, preferably in or near downtown. You may be broke, but at least you'll be free.

Anyway, onto my stream of conciousness rambling!

-Worldly minded and/or has an international-level education, with strong English skills. It might stem from living on an island for millennia, or from 200 years of being cut off from the outside world through the Sakoku policy of the Tokugawa shogunate, but for some reason, Japanese people as a whole don't seem thrilled in learning English or making contact with other cultures. And those who do speak English are too shy to do so. A Japanese woman with an international education, sees herself as a global citizen, or hell, even has a decent command of English and a willingness to communicate in the language, is a diamond in the rough.

I say international education because it can range from studying abroad, to international K-12 schools (ASIJ, Lycée Français International de Tokyo, etc.); to studying English language or literature at a Japanese institution; or otherwise studying at a Japanese institution where English is not non-existent (e.g. 早大, 東北大, ソフィア, 同大); or even an undergrad degree that is just as rigorous as it is in the west--i.e. not goofing off for four years because zaibatsus will recruit you during shinsotsu just because you go to Todai or Kyodai.

-I like them older and headstrong/self-sufficient. J-women who carry themselves with confidence and aren't the traditional, submissive 大和撫子 types. Bonus points if they're career-oriented! Not that I don't like them younger--I do, and I'm down with dating twentysomething J-girls--but trying to find a younger J-girl in Japan who doesn't live at home is like trying to find a post on this forum in support of LGBTQ rights.

-As little かわいいです~ behaviour as possible. That is real nigga shit for most J-girls, but I've grown up in Canada all my life and am used to more confident women, who aren't afraid to be sassy and sarcastic in a flirtatious way. RVF will probably castrate me for this, but I like some verbal ball-busting in a relationship now and then, the back and forth banter is fun. Sarcasm is basically nonexistent in the Japanese language, sadly.

-Give me a J-girl that is willing to take care of herself! Get her teeth fixed, her underarms shaved, maybe hit the gym or do yoga, a landing strip (or bare) instead of a bush, put on some tanning lotion already! Fuck skin whitening and fuck calf removal surgery--I wish more J-girls should bronze up, get fit, and maybe even get boob jobs.

-Tattoos and body piercings. I get that the yakuza means tattoos = bad in Japan; I'm not looking for tramp stamps or full ribcage ink here. But it would be nice to find a J-girl who isn't terrified of body art.

-This is very important. NO CRYING OR SQUEALING DURING SEX. Japanese culture drills into women that they should have sex because their husband wants it. Fuck that! I won't sleep with a J-woman unless she finds pleasure in the sex itself, and is at least a little sexually self-empowered (or willing to learn). Also, being disengaged/passive/dead fish is out. I like aggression in my female partners.

Do these more..."international" women, who have a thing for western cock, exist in Japan, or should I just stick to North America? From RVF I've heard promising leads through the personals on Metropolis.co.jp.

Also, this post will make me sound pompous, and your troll alarms might go off, but I assure you I am not trying to be pompous at all. This is more of a thought experiment. I am 100% willing to at least get up to N2/N3 proficiency; I can be a little more loose with my preference for English proficiency. And I'm not expecting 8s or 9s either. If it's easier to find these kinds of J-women through P4P, I already browse Tokyo Adult Guide anyway, so I'm not oblivious to the P4P scene in Japan.

------

I have another question, this one much shorter. I know it's not likely because of Japan's anti dancing laws (unless they've been repealed), but where in Tokyo can a brother go and get his grind on like in an American black or Latino club in the ghetto? I'm not a fan of going to trance/EDM nights and dropping E. I like clubs that play rap, Reggaeton and Caribbean-style dancehall music (without the daggering, of course).

So, you want a white american girl who looks Japanese?

You will have a very rough time if you cannot speak Japanese. At any age English skills are not that great. Your best bet in my experience is people in the hotel or airline industry. I have never been to a place with worse utilization of English.

You sound like you have very fixed ideas: my advice is to be more fluid. Go live in Japan for a while, see how it goes.

Dr Johnson rumbles with the RawGod. And lives to regret it.
