The problem is that there isn't any militant response. Outside of this forum, both the left and right wing general public seems united in bloodthirsty glee and virtue-signalling about "dead children", "red lines" and other emotional claptrap. This is not to even mention the media and most of the country's politicians who are with very few exceptions heartily praising Trump's willingness to push USA towards another pointless globalist war. The few sane dissenters like Ann Coulter are getting slammed in the comments and accused of "not caring about genocide" by their own former supporters.

This will all encourage Trump to continue with more rash military solutions. Of course I hope he thinks a bit and stops here, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Trump opened a huge can of worms by reacting to obvious globalist propaganda in this fashion, and whether he goes on to invade Syria or stops here and does nothing else, the damage to his presidency is already significant. This will just embolden all of his enemies to keep pushing on the same buttons, because now they know that they work.

Not despairing or giving up on Trump, but stupid shit needs to be called out when it happens. Let's hope that he can resist all the (((neocon))) influence around him.

Article I, Section 8, Clause 11 - The Congress shall have power to declare war.

Is attacking a sovereign country with bombs an act of war?

Let's reverse this scenario. Syria attacks a United States Air Force base with 59 one-thousand pound bombs. Would Americans consider that an act of war?

RE: The Donald Trump thread
What is Axios? I've never seen Drudge link to them before.

Exclusive: Trump eyes new chief of staff; House Leader on short list

Quote:President Trump is considering a broad shakeup of his White House that could include the replacement of White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and the departure of chief strategist Steve Bannon, aides and advisers tell us.

A top aide to Trump said he's contemplating major changes, but that the situation is very fluid and the timing uncertain: "Things are happening, but it's very unclear the president's willing to pull that trigger."
Keep reading 251 words

Insiders tell me that the possibilities for chief of staff include:

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), who developed a bond with Trump as one of the earlier congressional leaders to support him, and remains a confidant.
Wayne Berman of Blackstone Group, a Washington heavy-hitter who was an Assistant Secretary of Commerce under President George H.W. Bush, and a key adviser on eight presidential campaigns.
David Urban of the Washington advisory firm American Continental Group, and a former chief of staff to the late Sen. Arlen Specter (R-Pa.). Urban helped Trump win an upset victory in Pennsylvania, and was in constant cellphone contact with the candidate throughout the campaign.
Gary Cohn, Trump's economic adviser and the former #2 at Goldman Sachs, who has built a formidable team and internal clout.

The West Wing "Game of Thrones" has been raging ever since Trump took office. But the war between the nationalists and the moderates, led by Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, burst into the open this week after Bannon was taken off the National Security Council, setting off a torrent of leaks against him.

Bannon called reports that he was ready to quit "100 percent nonsense."

Axios' Jonathan Swan reports that Bannon told associates: "I love a gunfight."

The top aide — along with many other Trump officials, advisers and friends — told us that it seems to be more a question of "when" not "whether" change will come: "The tension, the exhaustion, the raw nerves have gotten much harder to disguise."

I am afraid that women appreciate cruelty, downright cruelty, more than anything else. They have wonderfully primitive instincts. We have emancipated them, but they remain slaves looking for their masters all the same. They love being dominated.

His base is responding very badly.

Breitbart comments section is livid. Ann Coulter is lighting him up. PJW disavows. Cernovich (who we now know for certain is read by Kellyanne and others) held streams all day viewed by hundreds of thousands of people.

That's the kind of response we need to keep on pushing.

Here's some good news: the Pentagon is saying there's no plans for any future strikes.

So if I burn your house down with you inside because your neighbour (who you hate), ran me off the road, do you consider that an act of murderous criminality or a bitchslap feedback response?

RE: The Donald Trump thread
Libertas, did you really check out their comment sections?

Paul Joseph Watson's top coments:

Quote:Douglas Sikes You are so wrong here it's not even funny. To sit back and do nothing would be an obama play. The hammers of justice just fell in a bad dude. They will tread lightly before acting again. Finally someone will take us seriously. Assad gassed children for Christ sake. You're looking like a fool with this position.

Ryan DeClue President Trump took action against evil. President Trump has yet to be wrong about anything he's said or done. He does 1 thing you don't agree with and you turn on him? We have a word for that. Liberal.

Justin VanBibber Then hop the fuck off, Chemical weapons were used on children. He blew the fucking spot up that launched those weapons. He's not fucking around and NO it's not the "NEO-CONS" if you don't know by now Trump makes his own decisions you don't know Trump.

Kristoff Stinionies I'll be god damned cause I do live in a fucking world full of abortions, and whore mongering Governments that gas children to death. Doesn't anyone have some god damn balls or take this shit personally? I hope he drops 60 more on their fucking ass... You're telling me if you saw someone in the street doing this shit to children you'd just stand by and watch? Fuck that shit

Ann Coulter's top comments:

Quote:Alissa Twilley Akers I think President Trump did the right thing....cannot sit back and turn a blind eye to crimes against civilians, innocent babies. I always agree with you Ann Coulter, just not oh this.

Sharon LaDouce Hollis Hey Ann, you know better than this! We have military over there that need to be protected also!!! I'm happy he did this!!!

Tonya Mauck Ebert Trump is NOT destroying his presidency, he is leaving his marks where needed. Or we could be next. He has to prove that America will hold strong, defend against the enemy, and stand tall. He is sending a message, where Obama "drew" a red line in the sand, Trump crossed the red line and is delivering a blow with an iron fist to show we mean business. . A man of his words!!

Milo's top comments:

Quote:Sandi Strom President Trump just sent a message to the evil in the world that he isn't going to draw a red line and say "don't do anything naughty because we will be mad" !!!! God Bless President Trump.

Christy Jones Carter Oh shut the hell up about President Trump...He is defending the LIVES of the innocent HUMANS who were killed by chemical weapons and he is trying to cripple Syria so they can't launch anymore!!! He would have never had to do this if the ballless Obama kept to his red line threat!!!

Upon reaching Breitbart I finally saw one anti-war top comment:

Quote:Marco Rubio is in favor of the strikes and John MCCain feels there is balance starting to return to Washington. With support like that Mr. Trump you are likely headed in the wrong direction.

So where are all these livid people that you speak of? I just don't see them. I've only found all the sane anti-war figures getting absolutely swamped by their werewolf-warmonger supporters.

RE: The Donald Trump thread
I have been on the inside of enough security operations to know that if you're not on the inside... then you don't even know what you don't know. And Trump is an expert poker player so we really don't know what we don't know.

While I'm not happy about this, I am patient enough to wait and see if future events prove that he knows what he is doing. Right now he is like a head coach in the NFL. I'm going to see how he finishes the season before I decide that he should be fired.

My instincts tell me the man knows exactly what he is doing.

I'm thinking that this is an example of Trump spending political capital. He knew this would anger his voter base, and he did it anyway. Spending political capital is something I waited for Stephen Harper to do over the entire course of his career as Prime Minister of Canada, and he never did. And the left beat him in the end anyway, and he crawled away with his tail tucked between his legs never to be heard from again.

I am willing to wait and see if this gambit pays off. It is refreshing to at least see a leader from the right who is willing to take real political risks to accomplish his goals. The ability to take political risks is precisely what makes America's republic superior to extreme democracy and it's why the founders chose to design the American republic the way they did.

Let's wait and see if their wisdom pays off once again.

After sleeping and reading Taleb this morning, I'm doubling down on my thoughts that assure me.

Obama would've spent hours probably, agonizing over this, writing a stupid ass speech that was then re-written 50 times by various white house lackeys, shed a crocodile tear, gone to the gym and lifted 5lb dumbbells, get pegged by michelle, and then go on stage and whine for an hour about peace and diversity and bullshit. And nobody would've listened. Then, he'd go back to his meeting room and watch drones blow up civvies and relax with some golf and biden bringing along some 12 year old boys and girls for pizza play.

Trump was too busy. He knew what he was going to do. Knew that there was low risk of civilian death. Had someone throw together a short quip. Made it seem like this was deeply troubling. Meanwhile, he's been organizing the real issues, which are the snakes in his den. This buys him some time and respect for everyone to shut the fuck up while he solves other problems.

Are boots on the ground in Syria? No?

Then I'm not getting excited about this anymore.

In other news, I checked news.google.com for the pulse of the situation.
They had this article, which is VERY UNUSUAL:

The Democrats and old-guard news media (forgive the redundancy) are pathologically obsessed with the hypothesis that Team Trump and Russia rigged last November’s presidential election. If Donald J. Trump so much as played Tchaikovsky’s Marche Slav on his stereo, these leftists deduce, he was in cahoots with the Kremlin. Meanwhile, the same folks who spy a KGB agent behind every filing cabinet in Trump’s White House are aggressively apathetic about Hillary and Bill Clinton’s policies, decisions, and actions that gave aid and comfort to Russia. Hillary’s much-mocked “Russian reset” established the tone for the Clintons’ coziness with the Kremlin. On March 6, 2009, during a trip to Geneva, she presented Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov a small, red button. Hillary thought it was emblazoned with the Russian word for “reset.” Her team mistranslated and the button actually read “overload.” Nonetheless, Clinton and Lavrov jointly pressed the symbolic button. And a new era in U.S.–Russian relations erupted.

It's NRO, but it's not usual for me to see these things critical of hillary and the clintons on google news.

I feel today as if Hillary Clinton had won the US Presidential election. This change of heart on Assad and now the air strike is that bad.

Has Trump caved to the Neocon establishment that readily? or is his greatest persuasion trick to have conned all his supporters in the US and around the world into being gullible enough to think that Trump was going to be different and right all the obvious wrongs in the world? It feels like a huge betrayal to me.

I'm trying desperately to think of a possible scenario that makes sense and that Trump is the guy we think he is. If not, then I'm convinced that our best hope is to be ruled by Putin.

I wonder when people here will realise they're being suckered and don't know it yet.

"Sure there is absolutely no problem in attacking with a few dozen cruise missiles - its to ensure Trump is no shill!"

"Sure there is no problem with our secret assets funding, training, arming and helping murderous criminals - its all for the US guys!"

"Yes there is absolutely no way this can go sideways. its not as if Russia hasn't been duped a couple times by us, those stupid rooskies and their vodka rituals! HA!"

"Yes we are intending to create a no fly zone over Libya Mr Putin. Now go back to your Kremlin"

"There are WMDs in Iraq"

"Osama Bin laden is in Afghanistan"

" We are winning the war in Afghanistan and Iraq - we just need to have a troop surge and/or keep our troops there going on 16 years now".

But ofcourse Trump is not being led by the nose into a situation where even his fucking trusted associates are whispering into the Emperors ear. I am sure this has never happened in the history of male leaders who had much more power and ways to dispense it, including killing anyone they please.

But I am sure we will all look silly once the people with proven neocon treachery are told to "get fucked" come Monday morning by the Donald.

RE: The Donald Trump thread
It looked like Trump Derangement Syndrome mutated last night into a new form of the mental maladay, i'll call it DJTDS, Donald "Jewish" Trump Derangement Syndrome. It's quite disturbing how many of you were so quick to disavow, and cut and run after one news report you don't like. With supporters like some of you, who needs enemies?

And nobody would've listened. Then, he'd go back to his meeting room and watch drones blow up civvies and relax with some golf and biden bringing along some 12 year old boys and girls for pizza play.

The swamp wanted Obama to (really) light Syria up. Obama held out, even though it made him look weak. While I dislike Obama's worldview and policies as much as anyone, he deserves a measure of credit for this.

The "Assad regime chemical attack" is this generation's Gulf of Tonkin.

Imagine if you told this thread on inauguration day that, within the first 100 days, we would bomb Syria because of an alleged chemical attack by Assad? Where, afterwards, the white hats are tending to the victims without gloves? Come on!

We wanted to believe because even though we scum out sometimes, even though we disagree on the finer points - we didn't want to see this country go the way of the GloboHomoHallMonitorPoz.

Even after the inauguration I wanted to give one of Trump's closest advisors the benefit of the doubt.... Follow the money, "JK doesn't drink from the same trough as Pence, Reince, Graham, Rubio, McCain et al..."

But no: Nevermind that Reince is Trump's Chief of Staff. Trump's middle east guy is married to Trump's daughter. Trump's daughter is a proxy for her husband--not her father--and wants Bannon out.

The swamp makes offers that even the leader of the free world can't refuse. Trump knows that there's more money/power/opportunity than he and his family (JK included... hint-hint) could ever dream of on the other side of the Presidency... all contingent upon serving at least one term.

Serving a full term is contingent on doing the swamp's bidding: Starting wars and getting fundamentally decent young people riled up to go off and die/get their limbs blown off in the name of neo-con Stratego.

Call it dramatic, "shoot the messenger," I don't care. As of now (and if you haven't started already), become your own wartime consigliere while the powers that be fire up the war machine. Work hard and be smart about financial security - not just as a good wage(slave), not even your own business, but financial security with minimum exposure to the masses...

because whew lads on 1. a macro level 2. micro levels that we've heretofore taken for granted, it's over.

Many opposed Hillary & the globalists during the election.
Hillary & the globalists are in favour of this military action.

I'm at least being consistent by opposing Hillary & co. before & after.

A lot of people supported Mike Tyson until he bit Holyfield's ear off. Loyalty to a man you don't know personally is limited.
