RE: The Donald Trump thread
As I said in a previous post, I'm not jumping off the Trump Train just yet, but I am monitoring this situation very closely.

The thing that makes me most uncomfortable about this whole scenario is seeing President Donald J. Trump resort to the very same suggestion Crooked Hillary Clinton made months ago: bombing a Syrian air strip.

Doesn't it strike you as odd, and eerily prescient, that the same course of action suggested by the left-wing presidential candidate has now been implemented by the right-wing president who ran on a non-interventionist platform? Seems as if there was an agenda in place, and that no matter who the victor of the presidential contest was, that agenda was going to be carried out. Perhaps I'm overthinking this whole thing, but I believe when it comes to government and politics related issues, it pays to be more skeptical than faithful.

I want to believe in Donald Trump. But I'm not one to put blind faith into anyone or anything. You can learn more about a person by their actions than their words. We know Trump has said all the right things (to get himself elected), now let's see if he'll do what he promised, what needs to be done, in order to justify the support of all those who voted for him, myself included.

Yep. This is like March 2003 all over again.

We've learned nothing......

Seems to the consensus across all the networks:
Even Breitbart is cucking on this. Comments on the site appear to be disabled. Disabling the comments is a great way for the media to force their narrative. Will be curious to see what the polls all say about approval of this operation.

I watched MSNBC tonight. They weren't waxing ecstatic, but they were clearly pleased by this.

Each Tomahawk missile costs $1.4 million. Just in hardware, this operation cost the US taxpayer $82.6 million dollars. The Navy will replace those missiles in their inventory. Raytheon builds these missiles. Raytheon just got a $82.6 million dollar pay day.

It's safe to assume that the shareholders at Raytheon are among the same people who are shareholders at Fox, CNN, and MSNBC.

I hope you all realize that this is just the beginning - it will cost easily tens if not hundreds of billions. After the missiles there will be other interventions.

It was clear from the beginning that the globalists wanted Assad gone.

The Russian support won't help Assad now.

Also Breitbart comment section is pretty clear:

Stop haggling over the price of a few missiles. A million here, a million there, pretty soon you're talking real money!

Those missiles were bought and paid for years ago. Or maybe they weren't. Maybe your grand-children will have to pay for them. No one really knows. This little war cost nothing at all. It's just a topping up of the tankard that is public taxes to pay for private profits that kill innocent children. Ok, maybe only a bit of gravel and old Sukhois or Migs got it this time (doubtful), but who paid for the chemical weapons in the first place? That is if in fact, chemical weapons were even used. I've seen no proof of that yet, let alone who dropped them. Shouldn't we be calling the people who manufactured these monstrosities to book first of all, in a civilised society?

Money isn't real when it comes to bombs. War makes a mockery of dollars and pounds. Nearly a 1000,000000 Dollars for a B-2, and the US got 20 of 'em! That's a lot of potatoes your grand kids are going to have to pick.

Meh, a million for the odd Tomahawk. That money was already spent. No one pays for it. Then again, the future generations will have to pay for it. I've never got a straight answer from anyone how all of this insane war financing works, and I don't expect to get one now.

But Zel is right again, this is just the beginning. Because, you see, all those wonderful missiles have now been spent. So we need some more. No one really pays for them. It's imaginary money. Except to your grandchildren slaves. Sorry, great-great-grandchildren.

War is a racket alright. This is just a shot across the bows. I didn't really get my world war I predicted last week, but it's looking good for next week. I pray I am deluded and wrong.

Indeed - because information coming from terrorist infested areas is reliable and has been double-checked by the Snopes-fact checkers. The New York Times has even hired special fact-checkers who have googled the net and checked up on Wikipedia. After such extensive checking and back-checking, it was deemed that the former terrorist doctor interviewed by the terrorist on the US drone-kill-list must be speaking the truth. The facts are in - anyone else is just fake news - Wikipedia-confirmed news is right.

Of course they are. Anything that goes against the ownership's interest is fake news or a conspiracy.

Don't forget Saudi royalty family member Al-Waleed bin Talal owns 6% of Fox News' parent company. Saudi Arabia wants Syria's government eliminated.

Look at Genie Energy. Rupert Murdoch is on the strategic advisory board and might have some ownership interest. They signed an agreement in 2013 with Israel to explore for oil in Golan Heights. Golan Heights is internationally recognized as Syrian territory occupied by Israel. Holy fucking shit of course they want Syria out of the way.

On the surface I don't like it either, but i'm waiting to see how this plays out before jumping to conclusions and trying to play fortune teller. None of us really know what's going on that high up in the world govts, as much as we like to pretend we do, so it seems foolish to make snap judgments about what's going on right now. Give it a week or so and we will know a lot more.

I'm hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst, as i've been working today on purchasing lead and gold and getting my financials in order in case of war. Bottom line as always is do what you can for yourself and your family, and keep your head above the fray without getting bogged down into the emotional quagmire. Lots of money to be made and lost either way this plays out.

After Assad Syria will descend into a dysfunctional shithole where the moderate beheaders combat it out with the radical beheaders. It would not even matter if ISIS is "defeated" by then - the globalists will disband that group and it will crop up suddenly on the Iranian borders, because that is the next country on the chopping block.

Ah well.... unfortunately it is what it is.

Idi Amin knew what time it was!

He was given a very nice big mansion in Saudi Arabia, in fact.

At this point, Assad is probably saying 'oh fuck it, I tried didn't I?'.

H1N1, I do agree with you on your distaste with regard to Putin - he is no friend to the Russians and not to be trusted at all by the wider international community who view him in such a preferable light just by virtue of the fact he is a counterpoint to their own disingenuous leaders.

I don't trust him either.

But I am genuinely curious where you get your intelligence on Assad from, because as I see it, not one person in this world knows just what the fuck is going on in that Apocalypse Now place. And I know some pretty clued up people. And their viewpoints contradict each other for the most part. But never have I heard any of them speak with the certitude that you have. They have definite viewpoints, but it is all based on their research and therefore, in the bowels of Christ, might be wrong.

I've never been able to get to the bottom of it. I have heard many hard assertions and seen much hand-waving, but each time, when asked for sources, that a simple man such as myself can understand, no such sources were forthcoming.

I realise this is an extremely complex matter. I also realise I am of limited intelligence (certainly far less intelligent than you, for a start). You can probably sense what is coming next.

I just wonder if there is any way I can ask you for any kinds of pointers or further reading on this matter, without seeming somewhat snarky or putting you on the spot. That is not my wish to do so. I hold you in very high regard H1N1. And those are not empty words. You are the best of my countrymen, and when I criticise my other poor brethren, I do not include you in those crass statements that I make.

In a way this is something of an aside, but in another, it is right to the point. I know a thing or two about the Middle East, being brought up there, and following events since I left. I have never heard such a polarised and absolute point of view on Assad, such as you have presented. And I am genuinely intrigued.

Would it be possible to share the information that you are privy to? And by all means point out that I am a dumb-arse and that the information was all the time in the public domain, should I have cared to look. That is always a possibility too. As I said, I'm really not too bright, being somewhat mid-witted.

I still won't believe that Assad did gas his women and children though until I see proof. Even if he is proven to be a monster of the most ill repute -- that is not de facto evidence that he carried out this particular heinous act.

...

As for Idi Amin, is he still alive? Pretty sure he is still in Saudi if he is. Dictators never die, they just sink in to the mist... with the sleeping dogs, best left to lie...

And look what old Idi got away with.

RE: The Donald Trump thread
Individually we have no power, but collectively we can speak out and let the President know that this is unpopular. Cernovich is rallying the troops to do this right now.

I just contacted the White House to urge the President to stay true to his word in the campaign that he would cooperate with Russia to fight ISIS and establish safe zones in Syria. We don't support regime change, building a coalition to invade, or a military occupation of Syria.

Take a minute and either call a drop Mr. Trump a line:

The end justifies the memes.

Assad will make Syria great again. As you will see by the comments, Assad is loved all over the world.

Assad has great photo game and style. Very fit wife too compared to majority of politicians. Met in London when (She's a UK citizen) if I'm not mistaken

There's that blue eyed ay-rab again.

Better drop some bombs on this "non person" with the BLUE EYES.

Al Assad has blue eyes and looks like De Gaulle, because he obviously has French blood in him, the blood of the French crusaders, engineers and Hospitaliers Knights who ruled over part of Syria (Homs and surroundings) for more than a century...

Perhaps.

Or maybe it is because Levantines are originally European:
