I'm happy to be the first one to report (on here) that the unhinged, Trump-hating radio host Glenn Beck has been suspended by his radio network, Sirius-FM for the rest of the week.

This happened after Beck had author Brad Thor (who???) on as a guest and Thor apparently made threats against Trump. The company's official statement read: "The author made comments that could be construed as "advocating harm against an individual currently running for office."

I've never heard of Brad Thor and I read a lot. It bugs me that no-name authors are getting free publicity from making threats like this. They might get their 15 minutes of fame, but they're setting a dangerous tone.

I hope Secret Service or the FBI investigates this guy to the point of doing a rectal exam. Threats are the lowest. As much as I don't like some politicians, I've never even jokingly said anything like this. What a lowlife. And I hope Beck decides to quit after this. What a windbag.

Trump is possibly the first candidate (ever in US history?) to turn the tables on the disgusting press and "journalists". I'm loving every second of it.

They are so used to being buddy-buddy with the Washington elite and not being held accountable for their lies that Trump's tactics are completely throwing them off.

Well, anyway, I think that Trump is probably a mix of both: patriotic and bold (and Celtic-looking) like Vercingetorix, but intelligent, innovative and great builder of wall - like the Roman Caesar.

Incidentally, note that Caesar won over my Gaul ancestors by... building a wall (a counter-wall of fortifications surrounding the first French wall of fortifications, imagine that). Proof that walls do work, always have!

Cesar's "counter" wall of fortification at Alesia, and it worked:

I live in England and my father in Scotland, and on a visit a few weeks ago we talked and even he described Hillary as "crooked". That label has gone round the world and stuck. Does anyone here have a link to the state deadlines and signatures needed for a third party candidate? This French thing is not really concerning, but if he needs quite a few signatures in some of these upcoming states, he might not even get to the starting line. That would be funny to see. Probably would make Trump look better to.

This whole incident made it abundantly clear the Achilles-like hatred I have of "Conservatism, Inc." I hate those people more than the iron gates of death.

You see, I hate the left too, but I do respect them. The left believes in something. It has drive. It's motivated. It wants to win. Its adherents want to advance their ideals.

"Conservatives?" They just want to clutch pearls and look respectable in the eyes of the left. They don't care about winning, not really, at any rate. Look at low-energy Jeb who reneged on his pledge to support the nominee and instead stated the highest priority was to keep control of congress. Did he get anything from going back on his word? No. Trump would though.

"Conservatives" stand for nothing. The only "principles" they seem to have and care so much about are a rigged market under the guise of being "free market," but even if the market was "truly free," a market does not a nation make (something libertarians just don't understand). Their precious ideas, when they exist at all, are utterly transparent and powerless, and this is part of why they lose.

But they don't really care because they somehow think this makes them look "respectable." Of course, because being respected by people who hate you matters. I seem to recall Mittens being called a misogynist last time, who now has the gall to call Trump one as if he can't even remember the left used the same tactics on him, and it's part of why they won, again.

In short, the left has more redeeming virtues than "conservatives," at least in their character and mindset, which is telling of just how utterly weak and pathetic "conservatives" are.

Fuck them. The sooner "Conservatism, Inc." dies and the new right rises, the better.

There is no "hard science" when it come to the conventional views of ""climate change""! and plenty of "faggotry", whatever that my be. Apart from the fact that climate has always changed and that the last ice age was 12,000 years ago and we are due another one very soon.

You have a Bush, so then you get an Obama, so then you get... I will bet every dime I have that whoever the next President is, R or D, he will be the concrete response to abstract ideologies of the two, he will be what pulls America out of this, and when I say bet I mean a literal bet that is being made for me, for all of us, what happens post-Obama may well define America for the rest of America.
