Thanks for the love, Moma. Talking about gaming bitches must bring it out of me.

RE: "good guy" first impression
This is probably one of the most perplexing mysterious to me. I used to be a nice guy. Maybe compared to a lot of other guys I'm considered a "nice guy." But really, the way I treat women these days I am constantly dumbfounded when girls continue to call me that.

I let them (sometimes awkwardly) pay for half the bill.
I refuse to hold their things (i.e. purses).
I don't respond to texts in a timely manner.
I'm late to dates and don't apologize.
I'll bang a girl and ask her to leave (or vice versa).

I do most of the things Giovanny mentioned on page 1.

Maybe I'm not "Jersey Shore" mean, but I don't know why I keep getting called a nice guy.

Laugh I have been called many things in my life but nice has never been one of them. So if "nice" means you don't resemble thecrazyfool, then you must be:

1. Not frequently told that you look like Robert Pattinson (complete with vampiric paleness and intense gaze)
2. Short.
3. Lacking in sociopathic qualities.

You can't hide your true nature, no matter how hard you try. So if deep, deep down you're "nice," then you'll always be that way subconsciously. So Gmac, if you used to be a nice guy...you probably still are on some level.
But it still seems to be working out for you... so why worry about it?

Try smirking more. Like, where you would usually smile barely let the corner of your curl. It sets a higher bar for your amusement and you come off as disinterested. When you actually smile it will have a lot more effect.

Trying out a new identity can be difficult when you are around the same people who don't want to see the status quo change. You might have to take a break from the people you hang out with to really let the seeds flourish and become a part of you.

I don't think there is anything wrong with wanting to come off more like a bad-ass if it is what you want to do, just don't half-ass it. Get a bad-ass hobby, find a bad-ass role model who fits your body type and features and emulate.

You mean gaming lizards lol Wink

@Giovonny: Great posts, really some great stuff there that I should try it. But these days I don't know if I'm giving the too nice or too 'player' vibe, I've been told the latter from girls but it doesn't seem to be helping with my game.

Could it be your natural body language, facial expressions, and /or voice tone? Your brain might be saying one thing but your body could be saying something else. Most nice guys who learn how to get girls have to adjust their body language alot I think.

I like what this guy says about smiling too much...

Ya girls don't like either one of those. It is possible to be doing both at the same time. And both are easy to correct with a little work and patience.

Sensitive guy game. Don't fall into DLV territory (being dumped, get nerdy, etc), but try to get across you're just a normal dude who happens to be insanely awesome.

Bro this is fine. You can use it to your advantage.
You can go anywhere with this.

Get in close with her and show her what a good guy you really are. Whisper in her ear to tell her thanks for the compliment that other used to call you an asshole but your trying to change that. But to keep it a secret or whatever. Tell her not to be a bad influence on you. Whatever. Fuck with her head about it.
Show her what youre really about.

You don't need to change your personality but obviously you have these nice traits that you are advertising. Instead keep them to yourself, and control your smiling. Be an actor.

Thats the perfect chance to make a move. Let me know if that works
