That said, it's not the ones who announce they are feminists who worry me: It's the ones who are but conceal it. I have a very real, very personal and VERY scary experience with this. This woman REALLY wanted to get married and was playing a role. But after we got married, different story: My previously happy-go-lucky girl became a one-woman grievance machine. Women were victims in every way in this country. And it turns out, not only did she belong to a feminist group in college - she actually founded the group at her college! Scary shit. Needless to say, three years later our marriage was over.

I should have seen the signs: While my girl acted sweet, they ALL act that way when they want a commitment from you. I'll bet Betty Friedan acted that way to get someone to marry her fugly ass: "Oh, all I want to do is stay home and cook and clean for you! That would make me SO happy!", ugly better probably said. But the signs were there: My girl's MOTHER was a divorced harpy feminist; she left my wife's dad when she was just a year old! A true, 1960's hippy liberal rad fem who went on to become a university professor. Daughter went to one of the most liberal colleges in the U.S. Step father was a mangina (that was her mothers way of signaling to the daughter what sort of man she should admire). Three years doesn't sound like a long time. But it can be like 3 years in prison: Every minute is hell. Especially when you thought you married a sane girl.

So it's better when they announce up front that they are cuckoo. As the saying goes in the pharma industry, where drug approvals can be a long and expensive process: "Fail early, fail cheap".

Obviously, marrying a feminist is up there with shooting heroin everyday and is practically suicide.

I know. I'm amazed I lived to tell about it with my balls intact. Someday, when I am an old man with no teeth and feminists have been banished to the history books like the Nazi's, little boys will look up to me and say "Old man Father...is it true you married a feminist and lived to tell about it?!" And i'll say "that's right, sonny..."...

My thought when reading the thread title was hanging out at a party or a bar and you start chatting with a cute girl that drops the Fem-bomb. I never thought of approaching ugly chicks that I assumed were feminists just to try to bang.

In Peru I had a feminist Russian roommate upstairs. I would constantly brew a cup of green tea and honey in my Uncle Roosh coffee mug and go upstairs to drink it cause she was always up there on the couch looking at gawker and jazzybell or whatever on her mac book. Then I would just sit there and try to have logical debates with her about feminism until got bored then I would say something really sexist and she would get pissed and go in her room... It was more entertaining then watching tv or reading a book. She would always invite me out for bubble tea afterwards but I never took her up on it. At the end of the day she was still a nice girl and honestly fairly intelligent, and I hold nothing against her and would consider her a friend. To bad she was pretty homely looking and a WNB

My current girlfriend tried telling me she was a feminist. I laughed at her and told her women are third rate citizens and they only belong in the kitchen, they should be seen and not heard, women should've never had the right to vote, etc.. All at differing times, joking with mild seriousness and a smirk. She swears off feminism now because she's taken on my view that feminism is a bunch of fucking entitled fat bitches crying about everything. Shows you pretty much how women can be swayed to your line of thinking if they're in to you. We have a traditional relationship and she understands her role. That whole feminism thing with her was something for her to believe in, now she's all about being traditional. She just needed a push in the right direction lol.
