I find most people into veganism a bit weird. I know lots of people (mostly Indian) who are vegetarian for religious reasons, but vegans always seem a bit off to me.

Story of my young life right there. We employed hippies of the most extreme variety as tree planters. Their hypocrisy was right up there with Christians who give church a bad name. My favorite was how they always seemed to drive shitbox cars and I'd ask them "do you realize how much pollution your wheezing 1994 subaru is putting out between a broken catalytic converter, a leaking oil pan and fouled spark plugs?"

Every so often though, there would be a really hot one. Glowing skin, great toned yoga body and usually not a preachy cunt. If you can look like an 8 with unwashed hair, no makeup and the grime of 8 days without a shower in the woods you are doing something right. Remember though, this is about...5 chicks out of the 1200 employees we had pass through our doors.

Most men only need about half that amount of calories though, which amounts to a very low amount of fat and protein. I would be very cautious of following new fad diets.
Personally I look more to what they are doing over at the bodybuilding.com forums (well a bit less protein). But of course I am not a marathon runner, if you are you may have different priorities.
