I have a hard time feeling sympathy for anyone in this story. 60 years is very excessive and equivalent to what most people get for pre meditated murder.

Blacks have a higher rate of STDs than the general population. Gays have a much higher rate of STDs than the general population. Black gays have pretty much the highest STD rate of any US group and are roughly on a par with sub Saharan commercial sex workers.

All of this is common knowledge. It is also common knowledge that anal sex has the highest transmission rate of any form of sex, due to the micro tearing in the ass that occurs during penetration.

I broadly agree with what you said, except that it's "common knowledge." It's "common knowledge" in the sense that the data is out there on reputable websites like the CDC, and more or less echoes your comment above (though I don't know the disease rates of African hookers).

But in reality, it's 'uncommon knowledge' because the media and the government collude to keep mum about this reality. The government bodies don't want to lose research funding and get in hot water for being a meanie and saying things that aren't nice, and the media wants to perpetuate the narrative that We Are All Potential Victims to the AIDS Threat, so we must all Do Our Part (and don't forget to Raise Awareness).

I had a couple dates with a doctor who ran a blood bank, and told her, "this is what my own review of the research says [similar to the info above] - do you know anything different?" She may have hemmed and hawed about always practicing safe sex, but she agreed with my summary of the data.

She also added that while homosexuals are now allowed to donate blood, they can only do so if they haven't had sex with a man within the last year - which isn't many homosexuals. There are other restrictions as well that I don't recall.

But hey, more paranoia means more funding for medical research, everyone wins, right? Not the taxpayers, nor straight people who enjoy some old fashioned rawdog sex.

Broken down by race, there are nearly as many black MSM hiv infections as white MSM infections, despite the fact that the white population is 5x larger.

I mean, when it's mostly confined to the gay population it's still a problem, but it's not nearly as bad as when the guys are bisexual and rawdog the women as well. That's when you have to really be scared.

I was talking to a forum member at a meet up a while back, maybe back in May 2014. He was telling me about how he used to let one of his friends take shots at his girls, but this friend was secretly bisexual. This forum member was rightfully pissed off about the whole thing. I think he may have even fought the friend. Not sure how the guy's Bi tendencies were finally revealed.

That movie is quite a few years old. I wonder if it would even be made now or if the so-called bug chasers are really active in the gay community now.

The specter of bisexuals spreading this to girls doesn't worry me too much because as we know female to male transmission of HIV is extremely, extremely rare (especially if you are not black). I think its more that Christian "bad apples" can go on longer, wilder rampages of debauchery when they decide to because of how naive and trusting devout christians tend to be.
