Parking enforcement is contentious by nature. At the same time, neither Gina, our lot clerk, nor our company, have any interest in seeing Britt McHenry suspended or terminated as a result of her comments.

Ms. McHenry is our neighbor, and, as she said, to paraphrase, made remarks that were out of line. She is human and errors in judgement can be made in the heat of the moment.

They're worried that she might sue them or that this might bring some political heat. Bottom feeders like to stay under the radar. No publicity is good publicity.

Im unclear exactly how the video came out; whether it was the clerk or management that put it out there, but that probably wasn't the best decision.

They know people hate them, so they're trying to act like they have clean hands here, when in fact the damage it is causing to her career is exactly what they intended.

I really don't get why broadcast journalists have such big egos. What's the point of making all the sacrifices via working shit jobs up the ladder only to discuss people more important than you for a living?

I'm too much of a self-absorbed A-hole to do that. Why not get paid to talk about myself for a living? I guess that's what comedians do, haha.

But seriously though....would you rather:

1) Be that "inferior" person who gets to interview Jim Carrey

OR

2) Be Jim Carrey?

At least guys like Craig Ferguson & Conan got to talk about themselves while making others laugh for a certain period before spending the remainder of their show conducting interviews.
