This is a bummer Linux. I'm sorry to hear it. What happened to you is the worst. Here's my bad experience, but not nearly as bad as yours.

I once met a "low-repped" forum member in the Philippines who unbeknownst to me brought his girlfriend with him and started talking about the the forum in front of her. Used my handle in front of her, etc. Fortunately, from VP's advice, I don't use my real name, but this was a place I frequent often and the waitresses, who I'm gaming, know my real name via credit card and then they hear words like "Onto", "Forum", "Roosh", etc. You don't have to be Columbo to piece it all together if you want to, and they were curious.

Number 1 rule. Never use your real name, even when meeting forum members. In fact maybe not a bad idea to have two fake names, one for forum members and one for girls.

That said, one of my best experiences was meeting a forum member in Manila who had probably 4 posts at the time. We were both the first members we ever met and it was a risk on both our parts. His post count still isn't even 10. Very high-quality guy who I was lucky to have met and party with several times. So let's all consider that as well before deciding to close the door.

It may be unrelated, but up until a few years ago the big expat board in Colombia was called poorbuthappy.com, mostly a mix of Canadians, Americans and Europeans living there and sharing info. It was a useful site, but they had a toxic minority, a bunch of haters that dicked each other over so much in real life that they shut down the site (not exaggerating, google "why poorbuthappy.com closed after 10 years.") One guy on the board got fired from his job because another member found out who he was and sent incriminating stuff to the dude's superiors, shit like that, stuff with girls too. The members of that site literally harassed each other. Why? I have no fucking idea. Just be careful whenever you post shit about Colombia online, because those psychopathic trolls are probably still lurking and trying to ruin everyone else's good time in Colombia.

^I heard about the PBH happy drama from some Colombia vets, that was some crazy shit. A couple of those same vets told me other crazy stories, especially the OGs who invested in web cam studios in the late 90s, those fuckers made a mint and have some crazy stories to tell. Unfortunately those crazy stories include some pretty morbid things and I've heard of gringos having locals off'ed for fucking with them, you can have a sicario roll up on someone and unload a clip in their head for a half million pesos down there, so you have to be careful of who you roll with in Colombia.

Sounds like one of those dudes that go abroad and let their head inflate and then get their feelings hurt when they realize that they aren't the only foreigner getting laid.

With expats my experience has been they are either some of the coolest guys I've met or some of the sleaziest dudes who were probably chased out of wherever they came from. And I mean expats in general, all of the RVF guys I've met have been in the first category.

Bogota is underrated. Nightgame is a more viable than in Medellin. English levels are higher. Social circle is more important in Medellin.

It rains a lot, but the cooler climate allows you to suit up.

Shit Latinas Say

I have been living in Latin America for almost a year now (4 months in Mexico, and now 7 months in Colombia), and I have noticed that latinas always ask the same questions. Now I have used my own lines to respond, but I wanted to see if anybody else had responses to these questions that worked well in the seduction process. Now I speak almost fluent Spanish, take that into account.

1. Do you miss your family? (Extrañas a tu familia?)
This question, or some other question related to family always comes up in the first hour of conversation. Latinas take family very seriously so I stopped giving playful answers to these questions. Anytime I used sarcasm, which is not as common here, the girls look at me with blank stares. I just tell them of course, and quickly talk abut my close relationship with my family.

2. What are you doing here? (Que haces aquí?)
Now when I was in Mexico and went out to a club, the girls would always ask me this, and my playful, cocky response was always "sexo, drogas y cumbia". It seemed to work really well as a gage to find out if the girl was playful and down-to-earth or stuck-up. I also used it during dates, but I think it works better at night. I feel as though in Colombia, Colombians are a lot more sensitive about the sex-tourism and drugs, so I rarely use it here, and give a straight answer.

3. Do you have a girlfriend? (Tienes novia?)
My usual playful response is "tengo algunas". Which is generally true. I feel like there are better responses however to really get the hamster going. One drawback with this for me, is that some girls seem taken aback by this, and feel like I am hands off. They say things like "Que va a pensar tu novia?" I feel like I have handled the questioning well, but there must be ways to improve it.

4. LMR
I was with a mid-20's virgin a couple nights ago. We had already seen each other 3 times before, with no luck of sealing the deal. She has never been naked in front of another person before and has zero sexual experience. She came over and after a half hour/ hour of small talk I make my move, and she is getting turned on. Clothes come off, I eat her out, she is living it. I get this close to sealing the deal, but she completely shuts down. After she is telling me she wants her first time to be for the right reasons. This thread is quite enlightening. Having lived in South America I know certain neighborhoods are not safe, especially if you are a gringo. The thieves will assume you are rich and go after you. I've lived in sketchy areas in the past but since I was a local I got away relatively safe.

I would recommend you guys to build social circles with people of some influence. I have a friend whose parents are wealthy in Colombia and I am hoping that he will point me to safe and great venues. I know guys who know were the prostitutes are but its also good to know were some fine Colombian women are as well. I think that as one moves the social ladder it becomes more exclusively. I'll just have to ask around.
