The former Miss Australia involved is Jesinta Campbell, the 2010 winner. And because this thread is worthless without pics:



Let's remember, for context of course, that Jesinta is engaged to Australian football royalty -- Buddy Franklin. For the US readers, this is basically like snagging a top NFL star, Franklin's one of the better players out there.

Campbell was in an interview with a local women's rag along with the local Feminazi Sex Discrimination Commissioner. And it seems she's decided to take the Inspector Louis when it comes to the behaviour of Young Ladies Indaclubs:

Sports stars have high status in nightclubs (and in cash: Franklin signed a ten million deal with the Sydney Swans around the time he hooked up with Campbell, to give you some sense of the provider status they have) And Campbell's surprised women will throw themselves at them? Even 16-year-olds?

But note that Campbell makes a Freudian slip: she says "women in general", not just young women. Methinks Campbell is irritated by the fact that just because she managed to extract Franklin from the nightclub scene didn't stop the late-twenties hamsters from hitting on him.

As for "make mothers' skin crawl"? Bullshit. Girls learn from other girls, who learn from their own mothers, who by this point are Gen X or very late baby boomers. Most likely their mothers taught them these tactics while on the single-mother cock carousel. Thank you very much feminism.

Campbell swears black and blue that Franklin's always been a "gentleman" -- notwithstanding that he has a reputation for being a bit of a ladies' man. I'm wondering if there's some overcompensating going on here: she's seen women like herself doing whatever it takes to land a guy, and in her heart she doesn't really believe Franklin is going to be faithful if given the opportunity, so she's out there trying to change the marketplace so she doesn't have to keep up the competition for him.

What Campbell seems to be talking about, and falling over herself doing so, is sexting - another tactic to try and snag partners. Notice she doesn't say the sexting itself is not okay. The only behaviour she wants changed is that of the men. And not once does she ever come out and say "girls putting men's hands up their skirts is bad and must not happen." She can only bring herself to say that it should be changed.

Of course, at this point our dried-up Sex Discrimination Commissioner jumped in:

On the other hand, it's also laughable to watch Broderick admit -- through gritted teeth one senses, but admit nonetheless -- that women are simply responding to normal gender dynamics when they sexualise themselves. This has always been the way since the beginning of time, and no attempt at androgynising the issue is ever going to succeed.

WB of course, but I've got a feeling that she's skinny by nature, and not hard work. If she does marry that Football star, there's no way in my mind that she stays skinny! Great analysis.

I see two things here.

1) The ultimate do as I say, not as I do. Women absolutely love to pretend they are altruistic.

I'm sure I'm not the only one here, but when I've politely declined a woman's fat/ugly friend, I get some sort of "you're so shallow" lecture. After all, her friend is "awesome" and I should "give her a chance, get to know her". Of course these women are always with betas who they drain of all their money and credit.

Women hamsterize it thusly:

"He's such a sweet guy"

Translation: He buys me what I want.

Or in this case:

"He's a gentleman"

Translation: I have to think of a reason why I'm with him, aside from his fame and wealth, so I can continue to be a hypocrite.

2) She knows her sole currency is her looks, and as mentioned above, she looks like she's skinny by nature, not work. She's going to have to work to keep that body. I work with a few women who get up 4:30-5 every day to keep their bodies tight. Their husbands (surprise, no woman like that is single, or stays single for long). She sounds lazy as shit and doesn't want to have to do that.

She just sounds incredibly fearful that her guy will kick her to the curb. I'm sure she'll still be able to find a "sweet" guy to take care of her.

Other minor point: Buddy's reputation as a ladies man comes from an old rumour from a former football player, who said back in 2009 ... well before Campbell met him ... that there was a competition among football players to see who could sleep with the most women.
