Hm, I see your point, but I wouldn't consider how a girl will turn out in the future as a indicator of how hot she is right now.
Then what about a girl who is 9 or 10 that is drinking, smoking, eating garbage all day, but her genes and her DNA is keeping her as a 9 or 10 in early 20s? If she a 5 then...?

To me she is still a 6.
I wouldn't be super proud that I slept with her, but I wouldn't mind showing it off to couple friends.
I wouldn't be afraid to bring her around to a social event or use her as a pre-selection.

I disagree with this post as others have pointed out.
10 = They do exist, they are the models, celebrities with a touch of your personal preference of race, height, their general vibe, etc...
Ex. I am into Asian chicks. Sonoya Mizuno (from Ex-Machima) is my ideal 10/10.
9 = Top girl in the venue. Usually works at a job that is related to her looks. Ex. waitresses, secretaries, models, cheerleaders, etc.
You will see like 1~5 of them when you go out to a club/bar.
8 = Cheerleader in your high school, hot female friend that you have. You can see them when you are in public. They start to become bitchy.
7 = Charlize Theron in her prime is like 10, at least a 9

I've often wondered if it's possible to accurately predict how a girl will look when she's older, assuming she takes reasonably good care of herself. It would be great if there was some software where you could input a photo and get a portrayal of what she'll look like later in life. This would be a very important scientific breakthrough.

@bgbusiness, tens don't exist. All humans have their physical flaws. When I was younger many, many years ago I used to think that Pamela Anderson was a 10 in her prime then I realised she was short and had fake breasts. Same applies pretty much to all other women, remove the makeup, miniskirt, high heels and that 9 in a club turns into a 7.5

Beauty is subjective because some people have terrible taste. If we were all men attuned to artistic beauty, we would then agree on what is aesthetic. Then there's also the fact that people like in others what looks familiar and reminds them of their childhood i.e. their mothers' face, or even what resembles their own face.

So if your mother is ugly, or if you're ugly, perhaps you don't have an enough attuned sense of what is universally beautiful to begin ranking women.
