I think one factor is that online dating, among locals, has probably taken off less, than any country I have been to. The great majority of girls still meet their lovers or boyfriends through social circle. Trusting strangers is not in their DNA.
But was has taken off, to the uppermost heights, is online attention whoring, now that access to the internet and smartphones, is universal in Colombia.

What I still have to determine is how much better is Barranquilla than Cali, with regards to the women. I have been to the Atlantic Coast of Colombia several times, but only for stays of maximum 10 days. The only cities I have had regular night stands or first meet lays in Colombia, have been in La Costa. Also, the women are the most forthcoming and direct of all Colombian women. Twice I have been invited to stay at the house of a Barranqilla and Cartagena girl, though they had never met me in person. That has never happened in Medellin or Cali, though I have spent way more time in these 2 cities.
As far as quality, last time I was in Barranquilla, the dropoff compared to Cali was minimal.

In Cartagena and Santa Marta there is a clear dropoff. In Barranquilla, for whatever reason, less so. Yes in Cali there might be a few more stunners and also more plastic surgery. But, I cannot complain about the quality in Barranquilla and good attitude is more important to me, now, than +.5 on the average looks scale.

Coastal Colombian girls aren't for everyone, but if you like them, I think Barranquilleras are the best. The foreign-blood influence is more European and Arabic, which makes for a nice look overall, and there's a lot of genetic diversity so you can chase white, brown or black girls. There are certainly flakes and gold-diggers there like everywhere else, but in terms of overall beauty + attitude, Barranquilla girls are arguably the best in Colombia. The bigger issue is what the fuck are you going to do all day in Barranquilla before 5 pm when the temperature finally drops below the boiling point.

To be honest Corroncho, there is nothing to do in Cali either, before 5 pm, other than doing work, reading, swimming, working out or going on a lunch or coffee date with a young unemployed girl, at a mall.
That is a problem all over Colombia, except for maybe Bogota and Medellin.

Flakiness and infidelity are not new patterns of behavior in Colombia. I witnessed a similar change in Brazil over a ten year period. This is a natural by product of increased financial security and safety. Gringos aren't afraid to travel to Colombia anymore. Just like they arent afraid in Brazil.

It is still a great place to meet girls but you need to be realistic. Too many guys think they can show up wearing flip flops and pick up an 8 in pargue llegas on Saturday night.

The exotic factor is quickly becoming a non factor in Colombia. Guys need to step up their game and adjust their expectations.

For every report on the forum about a guy smashing 15 girls in 7 days, there are ten guys hit Medellin for a week and strike out. These trips go unreported and if they are reported, of course their time wasn't spend gaming. It was just to party and experience the culture.

Yes Colombia is changing. Players need to bring their A game if they want quality.

Best in the sense of having access to quality 18 to 21 yr old. Though, they are nowhere near as easy as young filipinas, but quality is better. Just have to game them and be patient. Of my 6 bangs so far, on this trip, two have been 18 and one 19.

Though, since my accent is a mix of various spanish speaking nations, that would be hard to pull off. I cant recall a Cali chick who was so excited or who I banged because of being a foreigner. It is game on from the beginning, though calibrated to the local culture.
One thing that I can see speeding up the banging process and as a DHV, is having a new car and preferably hiring a driver. Something Im considering when I return to Colombia, in August.
In 3 weeks Im headed to Warsaw and Kiev, for a couple of months.

Cali you have a slightly better chance on cashing in on the exotic factor than Medellin. But it sounds like Cali is changing.

After a five month stint in the country, I'm winding down my last couple of days here before heading home, so I decided to spend a few days with my main squeeze in the coffee zone. She's from Cali and I met her over a year ago during my last trip here, she's definitely one of the top three girls I've ever dated; very chill, uncomplicated, a sweetheart and always DTF, so much so that I had to pop a couple of boner pills during the trip. I wouldnt say nowhere... I'm almost 35 and have been banging 18 year old girls in the US since I was 17 and never stopped. Before I left for Peru I had 2 19 year olds and a freshly turned 18 year old in my rotation. Granted I still pass for 28 and usually claim it, I can't see anything changing from my mid 30s to my late 30s. I am in shape and take care of myself... One thing that puts Colombia over Mexico, is that upto 50, a man can regularly score with 18 to 23 yr olds, as long as you speak spanish. have decent game and have some money. Whichever race you are or nationality. In Mexico, good luck with that. And in Peru, only if you are white and under 40.
