I agree that we've passed the peak. This time it's a small company standing up with some amused mastery. It will only take one or two prominent examples of bigger companies or institutions to show the same attitude, and the outrage fest will largely come to an end. After all, what we've experienced for the last several years was never going to be permanent any more than the "reds under the beds" panic of the 1950s or the rock lyrics panic of the 80s.

Where madness rules, the absurd is not far behind. I just saw a TV commercial for Auto Zone that made a man look like a complete and utter retard while the "all-knowing female associate" helped this dork with his car battery. The dork then goes on to fantasize his Camry is a Formula 1 racer. However, I don't see hundreds of guys outside the auto parts store protesting this ad as we've got infinitely better things to do.

I think we've passed Peak Outrage. I've noticed that even my Terminally-Progressive friends on Facebook are weary of this kind of thing and are starting to mock it without mercy.

SJW's are so socially-awkward they have no idea just how unlikeable they are to normal people.

I have a facebook friend who constantly posts extremist socialist/feminist rhetoric, who recently complained about the ridiculous censorship enforced by SJWs (didn't use that term unfortunately).

I don't know if this is indicative of a turn in public opinion. I think it's more that no one ever liked SJWs and we've been overestimating their influence.

Funny you should mention that. The article quotes a Delaney Rivers, from Siena.

A quick Google reveals there's no Delaney Rivers in Siena ... but there is a Delaney Rives at Siena College, in her senior year.

And she's a Sociology major.

More likely, Progressives are realising they're just as likely to be harassed and lose their jobs because of these people, because no-one alive can be as righteous as each individual SJW believes they are in their own eyes.

The matter-of-fact admission of sexually-violent, murderous or genocidal fantasies SJW's predictably-spout probably isn't helping them win hearts and minds either.

I predict mob violence resulting in death from them within 5 years.
