A text conversation with a woman I'm having today sparked this thread. But I've had multiple other instances of this.

Now, that I'm starting to line up a good amount of regular dates and the sex is getting more frequent, I'm wondering if I should just start calling these prospects, who play hot/cold on again/off again text games on their BS.

Example...I'm texting a 20 year old today who I met online. Trying to set up the first date. She eagerly returns my first 3 or 4 texts. I can tell she's going to be a bit of a pain to set the date up with tonight ( we had agreed I would text her today about doing something tonight a few days ago)

So, I text her " I'm a terrible texter when driving, you take a call in a few minutes?"

Her: Radio silence.

after 20 minutes I just call and no answer. She texts me 15 minutes later: "Just text me. I just got home"

so I text: "you don't want to hear my voice? I've got a great voice. Lol "

Point is, I've got a lot of variables today like, whether to renew my hotel room as I'm out of town visiting some family....what time she wants to be picked up as she has no car, etc...which are much easier to just talk out.

I'm thinking of just texting something like:

"K, I'm checking out of my hotel at 2:00 and heading back to ( my hometown ) I was going to stay another night if you wanted to do something. Let me know by then if you want to make plans or not"

Or even a more overt:
" I'm used to making definite plans. Doesn't seem like you're sure about meeting so I'm just checking out at 2:00 and heading back to (my hometown)"

Or should I handle her with "kit gloves" and continue to be gentle and play these "soft" text games?

Now, I know when you usually call women out they resent you and shrivel up into their shells like a turtle....but maybe sometimes these women appreciate you taking control and telling them to just get to the damn point. Anyone ever try this...that is calling women out on their text BS?

I figure since I've got other good prospects in the pipeline....what the fuck?

Most women in their teens and early 20's don't talk on the phone at all and view it as creepy if someone insists on calling them over texting. The title of this thread is a little misleading as your question doesn't really have anything to do with texting per say but more of younger women's reluctance to talk on the phone.

If I had to advise you on which text to use, I would say go with # 1

*It imposes an artificial time constraint, without coming across as bitter. Also good to convey you have better things to do than to conform to her lackadasical timeline

No need to call out any chick, the key is to put the ball in their court. No amount of slick worded/harsh texts will make a BS chick snap to attention if it's not what she wants to do. Besides - you have other prospects to coach up

Just know when the clock strikes 2:01, she's lost her turn

Respectfully disagree. She's playing text games. I've been dealing with this with girls for years.

While some of this particular girl has to do with not wanting to talk on the phone, many other girls have other forms of causing text grievance for would be players.

Some girls are prompt and courteous in their texts and some play these ( for lack of a better word) games. The basic premise poses the query: Would an alpha man of abundance call women out/ let them know you won't play these games by texting them such a response.

I was simply responding to the specific scenario you wrote about but I agree, many women love to game us men over text and leave us hanging, answer only part of the questions we asked or otherwise just be rude.

I'm still figuring out the whole text game myself but in your situation I think a simple "If I don't hear back from you by x:xx time I'm checking out of the hotel, talk to you later" is about all you could have done.

After her "just got home can you text me" I would have just sent a follow-up text AFTER I already left "Sorry had a conflict. Maybe next time."

Provide as little detail as possible and put minimal effort. If she's interested she will say "Wait what happened? Blah blah blah" If she's not, move on and hard next her.

Lots of women (especially the younger ones) do not talk on the phone. They prefer to text. That kind of social retardation is a little bit of red flag for me, because the ones who are willing to chat on the phone will also be willing to meet and are much more pliable in my experience. I'd be more than willing to guess that no matter what kind of text you send, this chick will not meet you.

Contrary to popular opinion, I have had lots of luck with sending a very curt and aggressive text to girls playing games ("your childishness is repugnant"). This gets the drama centre of their brain tingling (as well as their vagina). Obviously, it can also backfire.

But to be safe, just send something polite and easy-going.

"I'm checking out of my hotel at 2:00 and heading back but may be able to stay another night. What are you doing this evening?" is probably your best bet.

Have to agree. Out of the last 6 notches I've had, 5 of them have called me on the phone prior to meeting (all from Tinder), presumably to hear my voice to feel more comfortable about meeting up. But, that did mean they were interested. I'm pretty bad about calling, but them accepting it is itself an IOI. There is high value in the call, and girls who called or are willing to take a call are *definitely* more DTF.

Phone calls where I live are completely dead with young chicks 18-21 until after you bang them.

I told a chick I was calling soon to clear up logistics. I as well as you got the "just text me".

Again unless a girl goes through all the way with 100% compliance I think your bang rates are so low that energy is best spent chasing new prospects and focusing on stronger approaches.

Monkeying with non-compliance is a life waster.

Correct. If a girl is willing to talk with you on the phone (no matter who calls who) this shows a certain level of investment from them.

What really bugs me is when I call them straight after they've sent me a text (I know they have the phone in their hands) and it goes straight to voicemail. Then two minutes later the text comes: "hey, did you just call?"

You've gotta be artful in how you ASK a girl to call YOU.

Probe first, tell her to call, aka you're driving, if she does, great.

If she doesn't respond or responds with just text me, put her on the defensive jokingly saying, don't tell me you're a man or sound like one !" - I do this playfully then gauge their reaction.

DON'T comply or try to sell your self like this "you don't want to hear my voice? I've got a great voice. Lol "

It sounds weak and beta.

I get that some girls don't want to talk on the phone, but the ones who do answer, pursue those fast, strike while the iron is hot.

I'm no player and don't claim to be. I probably have less experience than anyone here so take this with a grain of salt, but I was out-gamed by a much younger girl over text last fall. Since it was in a social circle I was also able to talk to her in person, which made it more interesting and gave me some added insight. Based on that experience I made some conclusions of my own:

There are young girls who are socially inept in-person but like to play the total badass over text. It's "their turf" since they grew up with the medium. Lots of orbiters, etc. Hence they prefer that home-field advantage.

If you were able to confront her in person about wasting your time her frame would probably crumble in your masculine presence.

It's always possible that after you got her number she may have been approached by someone else who seems like a better opportunity to her, hence she may decide to use you for entertainment and just string you along over text for ego validation.



I think it's better to call them out on their BS (without emotion) and risk losing the bang, since it's in all likelihood lost already, instead of trying to think of how to convert. Almost anything else and you will just be dancing to her tune. And then she's lost respect for you.

I've come over more to the GLL philosophy where what you do is less game/strategy and more simply screening for compliance.

her an hour later: I just woke up. Im sorry. ( I know she does work afternoons and nights some and her birthday was actually this weekend)
me: still down?
Her: about what time?
Me. 5 or 5.30?
Her 30 minutes later: I've been asleep I'm sorry. I'm just now waking up ( bitch be sleepin all day or she lyin')
Me. Ok, what time works.
Her: Wya now?
Me: Hwy 90 in ( town) The hotel needs me to checkout or renew like 10 minutes ago Lol....need to know.
Her 30 minutes later: Let's just do lunch tomorrow evening. sound good? (wtf? I told her this was my last day)
Me 45 minutes later: already headed back. maybe next time.
Her one minute later: When will you be back? I'm sorry.
Me: Probably two weeks or so. Let you know

It's interesting she apologized 3 times. Also, another time I missed her when I was there, she texted me the next day unsolicited "when will you be back?"

After typing that, it seems I gave her too many chances and should have cut the rip cord on her earlier. Gonna put her on ice for a while. Comments obviously welcome.

The only way through this, and believe me I have been tormented by this since text game became necessary, is get at least one new number a week.

I don't really care, as long as they're on the thin side and at least a 5.5, I will go for the number if I can get some rapport going. If they don't respond to the first text at all, sometimes I just ice them in totality. One girl, I texted, and she held out a week before texting me back. Single date lay when I got her out, and would bang her 3-4 times a session. She was 19.

Other girls, if I think the rapport is going extremely well, enough that other girls in the vicinity are getting jealous, and they ice me out after one text. They don't even acknowledge my existence. This has happened to me so much that I view each girl as something, I dunno, a plaything of mine that sometimes cooperates and ends up in my bed. If the toy doesn't respond to being played with, it's a shitty fucking toy. I no longer take it personally. It's their fucking problem, and they just saved me a whole lot of effort over a text that I spent 5 seconds of my life crafting.

If anything, it helps me more with other chicks, because most of my groundwork is done by building up rapport with new girls and social proof. So, those jealous girls are gonna get hit up, and sometimes after I ignore them for months (too damn busy), they jump on the first opportunity. It's still jarring, when I think about it, of the low return of most numbers, even with the social proof, even with the good rapport, but I have just grown to accept it.

The older I get, the less time I have for their bullshit. If you were to show myself, 10 years ago, the amount of numbers I get (which honestly isn't a whole lot compared to some of you), I'd be shocked, and I would be in disbelief at how little leeway I have on non-response now. I'm tired of chasing disinterested girls. Fuck 'em

If a Woman is really interested she will make time, believe me.

My Korean ex traveled 11k miles to see me 3x a year. Granted, she made a lot of money in South Korea and could afford to take off work and travel. Nevertheless, they will make it happen especially if you lay pipe right.

I don't think she had any intention of getting together, she just kept pushing you off and taking forever to respond. As soon as there was NO possibility of anything happening, she responds quickly. Prior to that she always responded outside your stated time frames. (you give her 10 min, she takes 30, etc.)

Everyone here knows just about all girls under the age of 35 are glued to their cell phones. They are always checking it and typing away on it texting, facebooking, instagraming and snapchatting all fucking day. Whenever they get a text they are on it and typically are able to respond within seconds unless they are working a job where they are not able to play with their phone, or they are out with a guy (a girl will typically still text if they are with friends).
