I dated two. Both last year.
The first was in her early 30s and though, not a carousel rider as far as I could tell, she'd been strongly affiliated with her church since youth, she tried to be too authoritative and almost domineering on our date.

I would say witty things that I know make most women smile and laugh, but even though she would briefly smile, it's like she didn't want to 'submit' to my charm. Also, I didn't like her hands.

Never called her after the first date. Now, when I bump into her whole foods, she looks at me disappointed.

The second was a FB from last summer. Senior in law school. Given to sailor-like cursing fits, lying to me, and constant tardiness.

She was also semi-bitter for having gone to law school. When I asked her if she'd do it again, she said probably not.

I will say we would have good spirited conversations as she was very sharp, funny and she fucked like a champ. However, I could sense hitching up with her long term would be nothing more than a soul drag.

Why someone like Clooney with the carnal and female-psyche knowledge he surely has accumulated would marry a lawyer is beyond me.

Can this be correct? I thought you only split your earnings during the time of the marriage (at least according to the vastly prevailing California standard). Maybe one of the lawyers on the board can clarify.
