Anyone have experience withdrawling funds from Predictit. It says you have to wait 30 days. At that point do you get all your gains and initial investment? Do they then ask you for a bank account to transfer your funds to?

They may not settle the presidential markets until December when the electoral college is convened. In the interim, you can try to sell and cash out.

You will net your initial investment plus 90% of gains, then less 5% of the total amount withdrawn.

I was able to sell all my shares today for $0.99. It went so fast, I suspect PredictIt is sweeping up all available shares to avoid paying out at the full $1.00. For me it was worth it to get the money out instead of enduring six weeks of risk.

The withdrawal process was not difficult at all.

Unless there is a hold I'm not aware of, the transfer out will occur this week. I'll report back when it hits my account.

If you made more than $600 they will ask for your SSN for tax reporting.

I pulled out at 97 cents. Not going to risk all the bullshit for like 90 bucks. I got in at 28 cents. I had to fill out a 1099 because I made too much money.

Right now I'd have to take like a 5 cent loss on ALL my shares (beyond the .01 cents lost to the maximum predictit seems to be imposing artificially) due to only certain people being willing to sell.

I guess I'll wait, at least until the only hit I have to take is 1 cent or at the worst 2 cent loss on each of thousands of shares.

Update: I logged back in and they closed all the markets related to the presidency (although electoral college vote and other markets are still open). This means I'll get paid out fully. Great news!

A number of you have PM'ed me, I've tried to pull numbers out of the various threads, but I know there's still a few winners at least missing. I included profit (stake subtracted), but did NOT subtract fees or taxes as these vary greatly and are not really that significant to this summary. Earnings Summary

Unlike some guys here, I tried to be somewhat responsible. I only played with money I'd be okay with losing, so instead of one giant deposit, I deposited a small chunk every few weeks when I had cash available.

I mostly invested in Trump4Prez and similar markets, but I had a few hundred in the primaries that got reinvested into Trump4Prez.

Election Day, I had a few hundred on the states going to Trump but 90% of my holdings were in Trump4Prez, with Trump4Prez shares being bought between $0.20 - $0.40, averaging around $0.30.

Total Deposits: $2,155.00
Winnings: $6,643.70
Winnings After Processing Fees: $6,501.52
Net Profits (After Fees): $4,346.52

Plus the $21.55 in rewards points I got for using a credit card

When it comes to how I'm going to spend it, I thought "What Would President Trump Do?" I spent a good deal on booze Tuesday night but will be putting most of my earnings towards student debt, thanks to the King of Debt, Donald Trump!
