Jordan Owen fires Davis Aurini
I thought this was too big for the GG thread. I knew Jordan Owen was trouble the second he started trying to separate himself from conservatives.

Also note how this video is monetized.

Good riddance, you fat sack of shit.

If I understood the video correctly (this guy Owen loves to talk and talk and not get to the point) he is still on the Sarkeesian documentary project and is handling post production, and Aurini has been booted from the project completely.

Owen said something to the effect that he didn't think Aurini was right for the documentary, Aurini sent him back an ultimatum, and so they both threatened to go public. I hope Aurini goes public and sheds some light on the situation (for instance, why did Owen think he wasn't right for the project? Dude can't even justify his decision in his own 'defense' video, which makes me think he had absolutely no good reason).

This is why you draw up a contract defining pay or degrees of ownership when you start a project or business venture. Otherwise you can get stuck with nothing after putting a lot of work into the project only to have the guy who at the beginning so helpfully handled putting all the financial stuff in his name decide you just aren't a good fit anymore.

I agree the guy talks too much. The documentary is probably going to be boring now.

RE: Jordan Owen fires Davis Aurini
The response from Davis: http://www.staresattheworld.com/2015/03/...en-effect/

Jordan Owen has decided to split the partnership he and I formed to produce the GamerGate documentary about Anita Sarkeesian, with the planned title The Sarkeesian Effect. Conveniently after collecting the funds I begged you for in my last post. I’m writing this to explain what happened.

First question: Did I waste all the dollars I spent on this?

I need to start off by apologizing to everybody who chose to support this project. This sort of drama is unbecoming, particularly when you’ve entrusted us with your hard-earned dollars – but I also promise you that these dollars were not wasted. This project will see fruition, and it will be a palpable blow against the Social Justice movement.

As I tried to explain to Jordan several times, this project is bigger than him, than me, than us, even than all of you – this project is a moral obligation. I will see this project done.

Next question: What sort of person would pull the plug now?

We had completed filming immediately prior to this split. All that is left is the editing, the animations, and possibly a bit of fact-checking. None of these are easy or cheap, but this film is as good as in the bag. Owen and I never had to see each-other again; Owen and I had no substantial disagreement over how the film would be finalized (I honestly did like his script, as per my tweet); there was absolutely no disagreement over the film at all, and Jordan’s role as Producer, by this point, had mainly devolved to signing the cheques while I did the editing, and others did the animation.

The only logical reason to split the project at this point was because he’d just received the final month’s funding…

…at least, I wish that were the reason. That would make sense. After the past two months of communiques with Jordan, I strongly suspect that he undermined this project because of an irrational jealously of Roosh, and any man who’s able to relate to women easily.

He’d been asking me for advice about women since the get go – which led me to recommending my colleague Roosh who has done much to support us – but every time I spoke about him, it seemed to fill Jordan with rage. Eventually leading to a panic attack that got him kicked off of an airplane – the last time I saw him in person.

A major feature of this project was that it would be apolitical, and yet over the past few months Jordan has made a point of attacking anybody on the right whom he could get away with criticizing, culminating with his attack on Roosh. These attacks serve no practical purpose. These attacks have been counterproductive, as has been his ‘firing’ of me – the only man who knows how to edit all this footage into something useful.

So I ask you for forgiveness because I trusted too easily; Jordan has decided to break this up at the 11th hour for his own schedule of reasons, but this film still needs to be done. I ask that you continue to support me as I pull the last strands together, and cancel your financial support to Mister Owen. He does not have the technical capacity to put this film together the way it needs to be done.

Jordan should of just followed the advice on this forum,ROK and in Roosh's blog to help his success with women. Dude probably thought it would be easier to reject the self improvement ideas and change his mindset on women and just be a hater towards Roosh and anyone good with women. Its a shame that he is fucking around with this project and fired Davis after he did all the filming. Anyone familiar with the way film making works? How common is it for a director to be fired after the entire film has been shot especially when said director was a big draw for the funding for the film?

It took him about 85 minutes to finally get to why he didn't like Roosh in that 90 minute video. Guy seems like a douche.

This ruins any credibility the movie has(assuming it ever gets made) and makes them both look bad.

I guess after reading all that, it's strange that he didn't just agree to a collaborative effort and Jordan Owen release his own "Producer's Cut" after the fact. It's not like the material suddenly becomes off-limits once a product is released, and I'm sure the backers would be happy for more content or a different take on similar content.

Guys this is why it is imperative that we only work with our own. We need redpill business owners, consultants, lawyers, video/audio experts, film-makers, writers, owners of printing presses, IT gurus, etc.

This is what happens when we ask blue pill fucks to help us do anything. It's called a blue pill for a very good reason. These asshats are still fully plugged into the system and are dangerous. Aurini already shows his face before, but what if he had not been doing that already? That effeminate fat piece of shit would have fully exposed anything he could find on him.

In alot of ways, just because a person allegedly has a pair of testicles, that does not make that person a real man. All males need to have their masculinity vouched and vetted before they can participate with us. It's bad enough we already have some masculine men in the Manosphere that are either greedy with money or unethical in other matters, we at least gotta make sure we keep shit in house and don't deal with the blue males.

If I could take a wild guess, that basement dweller probably was pissed off at SJWs attacking his beloved video games, and wanted payback. Essentially classic nerd rage shit. When teamed up with a real man of tremendous intellect and social knowledge, he flipped out. All betas wolves balk at the piss stench of the alpha wolf tree markings. Not because it smells terrible so much, but because it was laid down with fucking authority and strategic purpose. Instead of daring to put theirs over it, they keep it moving probably wishing they could make the whole tree disappear instead, like the cowards they are. Men with no access to pussy will white knight or do all kinds of things. Beta wolves lash out at the Alpha wolves on occasion out of frustration, even outside of mating times.

Anyway, the SJWs could have attacked his ability to purchase sex dolls and his rage would have been the same. Never assume anger from someone is the same as real purpose. They are throwing wild haymakers, not boxing. Think about all the 4Chan kids that hate feminists with a passion. They only hate them because they attack various things they are interested in. Not all of them hate them for the same reasons we do. Let's not make a habit of dealing with blue pill guys that have infantile thought processes. I know I preach alot about coaching guys up, but you cannot coach someone that is not willing to even step on the field.

Anyway, Aurini if you still need help with stuff, let us know. I am certain enough guys here would be willing to lend a hand in areas they can. This shit isn't over by a longshot. We still have a high end mountain bike, while that dude is just a log on the trail. No big deal brother.

Great post, Kai.

I've always thought Owen was a classic Gamma overestimating his abilities, (particularly the music), and intelligence, which would eventually result in him needing sole control of the project to give him the attention and glory he feels he alone deserves from the world.

Sorry to see it played out that way.

Gammas can't be trusted, particularly with red pill exposure. They will reject it and burn those who they asked for advice.

There's some great posts on Gamma elsewhere in the Manosphere that I won't directly link to, due to forum politics, but what has happened here is Textbook.

I am curious why the Aurini issued the ultimatum. If he actually did, and if it came across the way Jordan presented it. The way Aurini presents his side makes it seem like the ultimatum did not come in a vacuum. But then why would Jordan lie in such an easy to disprove way?

That's the major stumbling block for me in this.
More information on that would be great in clearing this up.

RE: Jordan Owen fires Davis Aurini
I thought it was very straightforward the way Jordan presented it, unless I missed something. (Clarity is not his strong point.)
Jordan told Aurini that he didn't want to work with him anymore even though the movie was 90% done.
According to Jordan, Aurini said something like, "That's retarded. We can A.) Pretend this never happened, or B.) you can give me the cash that's mine for the work I've done on this project, or C.) I will tell everyone that you're running off with the cash."

I don't know if that's true, (It doesn't seem to be, because C never happened), but it's at least coherent.

So the reason Aurini got kicked out of the Sarkeesian Effect is because Jordan Owen has no "game" with women? That sounds kind of silly & strange.
