If you're over 10-100 Million, esp in finance, your money isn't liquid, like cash (or a house to be sold). It's all in stocks, investments, bonds, often obligated to stay there for several years or decades.

There are very few super-rich guys who have had to give 50/50.

Often the money itself is in closely held companies. Converting this to cash could require a fire-sale of the company or it's assets. Or leveraging the company heavily. It sucks that people can lose their jobs because someone isn't haaaaaapppppyyyyyyy.

No sir, in the world of wall street and many old money industries, marriage is an important tool for career & business advancement.

If you're not married many clients and associates will think you're either gay, weird, or untrustworthy (if you're a player). Therefore, marriage becomes a necessity for that, and for kids.

Mark Mobius has done well all his life - and has never been married. Well into his 70s now and living in Singapore, still raking it in.

...but he is a bit of a weirdo.

It's all relative. By the time this guys finished assuming his 6 billion forbes net worth is correct he will probably end up dieing with 100 billion. I'm not sure I have much sympathy. He spends a month about what the average American person will make in their lifetime. With that said a lot of the money is probably tied up in long term holdings if he had to sell it he'd trigger massive capital gains. Besides from that he may have a bunch of pre-tax money invested within different companies. It probably isn't as easy as you'd think for him to give her $1 million liquid monthly despite his immense wealth.

In his case it is highly liquid. For most other men it's not. Rollo described a story about a Blue Pill guy who was left out of a business deal because he announced that he is going to marry again - again without a pre-nup. Since a divorce would mean for the other partners to look for a new investor or necessitate a fire-sale, they decided to cut the guy out in the beginning. So Blue Pill can cost you money and opportunities.

Stupid multi-millionaire and billionaires. In today's modern age a man with enough money can simply buy his own genetic offspring. YOUR sperm, an anonymously donated egg and a paid surrogate, plus all the legal to make sure that no one has a claim on the child except for you. Want some simulated domestic female presence for the kids? Hire it out like all the other waitstaff you have.

That should be a goal for any red-pill man who decides to have children. You are far more likely to be able to raise them well than a single mother.

You're thinking too small. This guy should not be bothered with details.

Yeah...thirty years ago. Now they'll openly tell you how much they envy you and how smart you are. And it would have to give a LOT to make up for HUGE liability it has on your freedom, finances and sanity.
