how is that even possible(to get a complete internet ban?). While I don't think it's ok for him to be hacking peoples email's accounts in search for nude photos, it makes even less sense for the NSA and FBI to be sifting through his(or anyone's) emails in search for dirt with no warrant. How exactly does revenge porn= a terrorist attack?

For those who need a little back story on him and his activities:

His website "Is Anyone up" was a revenge porn site that took submissions. In the beginning he never went out of his way to hack people's personal information. His site got a lot of heat because sometimes the girls who got posted were under the age of majority therefore illegal. Or there would be girls who got pissed their ex posted her shit on the internet.

What eventually did him is was a combination of hater heat from his lifestyle, laws being passed against revenge porn and thinking he was invincible.

Kirill was here is his friend. He does pretty much the same stuff as Hunter except not being an idiot and accepting revenge porn submissions

What his did was illegal (the hacking, or at least the "conspiracy to hack"), but the Feds threw the book at him for political reasons.

To be honest it's not much of a big deal:

To be honest it's not so bad for him - he is living so far in his parents house, but they are no longer living there - probably upper middle class or at least solid middle class.

He also sounds like one of those guys who are unafraid of anything and always come up with new plans preferring to rather live than think in advance.

He was basically a stupid fuck for pushing the current limits of degeneration a bit too far - also posting vids of senators' daughters is crazy. If there had been someone truly powerful among them he might be dead already or maybe he will.

Moral of the story: You can be a degenerate fuck and it helps to be rather a doer than a thinker, but you can't be too stupid about it.

Personally I think that he fits well in our degenerate times and as long as he sticks to the law and does not piss off powerful people he will be fine - plenty of crazies will apply for his new business ventures in the future. He might have to leave the US though depending on how long he is blocked.

Exactly. Bollaert's conviction had absolutely nothing to do with California's white-knighting "revenge porn" law passed in 2013 (even though news stories are trying to create the impression that it did).

He was not charged under that law at all, his actions occurred before it was passed. In any case, he was convicted of the (very old fashioned) felonies of identity theft and extortion, not of the newly invented misdemeanor of running a "revenge porn" site. It was not running the site that made it a crime, but seeking and obtaining private information about these women, and using it to extort money from them.
