My breakfast usually is just coffee. Otherwise, its 4 whole scrambled eggs with bacon.

You don't need to eat savory to get a real gainful healthy breakfast. A good and tasty goto is a hardy smoothie. Blend up a couple scoops of you favorite protein powder, whole milk, a banana, a couple spoonfuls of peanut butter, and a half cup of rolled oats. That can be almost 1000 cals right there with tons of carbs, fat, and protein.

For the hard gainer, a huge breakfast is key. It stretches the stomach and gets you ready to pound more food over the course of the day.

4 sunny side up eggs. This is the best way to eat eggs cause they stay partly liquid and you can suck them down hella quick.
2 tbsp almond butter
1 cup grape nuts cereal w coconut milk
2 scoops whey with 16 ounces of milk.

If your eating less than 3400cals/ day skip it! The fasting benefits far outweigh getting calories in the am. It doesn't matter when you get your calories, but if your hitting your goal calories day in and day out. Including macs and mics. Great explaniation of what breakfast does to you on Martin Berkhan's twitter (sorry at work and dont have the link). I'm on a cut, 8% right now and fast from 8pm-1pm. As you can see breakfast is skipped everyday. I eat 2800 calories on non workout days and 3200 on workout days. You will never know if something works until you try it yourself. So experiment if you wish. Eat breakfast for a month or so, than try fasting for a month or so, track your bf % with a caliper and report back. Gurentee you, you will be pleased with skipping breakfast.

However, if your body requires 3400cals/day 8 hours just isn't enough time to get all your calories in and would be the ONLY time I would recommend eating breakfast so that you hit your daily calorie mark wetaher it be a cut/bulk. Goodluck!

I would say the only thing with skipping is still make sure you get all your calories in well before bedtime, you don't want to go to bed on a full stomach. But I agree there are great benefits to minifasts like this. Would not recommend if you are bulking however.

Nah, I recommend fasting even during a bulk. It will keep the body out of a 1:1 ratio. I.e. gain 1lbs of muscle to 1lbs of fat which most people do during a bulk. Fasting during a bulk it's easier to keep fat off while still gaining muscle.

The key is if your body requires more than 3400 calories per day. If so, thats the only time I would recommend not fasting because (as I previously steted) it's just too much food to consume in an 8 hour period. I found 3400 cal/day to be key from personal experience.
