This is exactly what happens in Europe - people go to clubs with friends to dance, have a drink and have fun. While some of them may be open to hookups if circumstances allow (there is a lot of IFs), this is not the goal. Even after living in US for a while I still go out to dance, to sing or to listen to live music, and while I am open to hookups, this is not my main goal or even important goal. For example, if I talk to a girl and we are making out and then it is my turn to sing, I'm leaving her and go singing. In most cases it ends the hookup right there. So to answer it, no, they may not want to hook up with anyone.

Two things. Most people do not plan their vacations and have no idea what to do, meaning once they get there, they just have a lot of free time and nothing in mind to fill it with. And hooking up for Westerners is a good way to kill time. The second thing is lack of social inhibitors, as their friends, family and coworkers do not see them and cannot label them as "easy" or "whorish".

Seem to be true. This is why I do NOT approach anyone in those places anymore. I work on getting some status in the place (dressing up, behavior, knowing the staff, good singing etc) and making myself approachable but that's it. This results in two important things. First, since she approached you, the first thirty minutes of conversation - my known weakness which I have absolutely no desire to improve - are much easier, and my expectations of her talking most of the time are typically satisfied. Second, it dramatically reduces other potential hazards such as cockblocking and rejection. And, as a bonus, in several cases she approached me with an offer to buy me a drink, which was also good.

Saying that, I don't really understand the full quote above - if she rejects everyone, who pays for her drinks?

As I said in my post you'r buliding up your value. When you have something with high value it will sell by itself but if you are low value you will try to "game" women to buy it.

Indians believe in rebirth and karma, so if you are really lucky, maybe in your next reincarnation you will be born as a tall, muscular white guy with killer daygame.

Oh, and btw, Sosuave.net(particularly the Mature Men section) is full of whiny, pathetic losers who blame their lack of success with women on everybody else except themselves. I stopped going there ages ago.

I feel I have bad odds at douche bag laden clubs. I will not use a club to meet girls, I will only use it as a venue to escalate with a girl who I have met before.
