Normally, something like this wouldn't even be a national story. It doesn't deserve to be. Someone pulls a gun out on a cop and the cop shoots them. There's absolutely nothing controversial about this. But the media wants to continue to fan the flames here and keep everyone riled up.

I'm not saying you're morally obligated to provide such a list. But I am saying that your decision to not provide such a list doesn't excuse your "Fuck you if you don't like my choice of wording there, pal. Keep it moving." post.

Everybody is an adult here, capable of doing their own research. I'm not going to do it for them. Totally unrelated to that last part. As if, me hoping a fellow human being would use the tools at his disposal and make more informed posts, needed someone else to comment on. Way off topic there so let's get back to the discussion.

I see all those riots as pure class warfare. Nothing to do with skin color. If these black people had decent jobs and wouldn't live on food stamps those riots wouldn't happen. For the same reason, you rarely see Chinese people, who often are self-employed and work in professional services, rioting.

the only racially motivated crime surrounding the incidents in ferguson appears to have been the murder of that bosnian guy with hammers.

in a way it's a little sad. the civil rights activists had medgar evers and rosa parks. the social justice warriors have michael and antonio brown.

You know what's the funniest part about your position?

That you're making it on roosh's forum. Did roosh say, with regard to game, "Everyone is an adult here, capable of doing their own research. I'm not going to do it for them."? Or did he provide his research to everyone, thereby helping (literally) thousands of men live better lives?

As I said before, you're not morally obligated to provide such a list. But you are morally obligated to own the consequences for not providing such a list, particularly the fact that no one has changed their opinions as a result of your posts.

Person being black has nothing to do with it either is what I realized. Why does it have to be an 18 year old "black" man? Why not an 18 year old man or just "man." The manipulation here is understated; the media knows what its politically correct sheep audience wants.

I think you're giving the media too much credit. I could accept the fact that the media is distorting the reality because the majority of the population likes reading politically correct bullshit. Hey, we're all trying to hustle for the almighty $$$ by any means, can't be hating on the media for doing the same.

But look around. People don't like reading politically correct bullshit. SJW retards writing for and commenting at cesspits like Slate and Atlantic are the minority. The majority of the population doesn't believe black teens are being killed due to blind white racism, and this despite the steady and relentless media propaganda campaigns.

What I am getting at is that the media is going against the flow of public opinion, that it's distorting reality not in order to make more money, but at the cost of making less money. Do you ever see stories in the mainstream press and the news channels about black cops killing whites under suspicious circumstances? We live in a nation of 300 million people, there is no doubt that kind of shit happens, and not just once every blue moon, either. But the media is in no hurry to take these (irrelevant, but then so are the Ferguson and NYC cases) incidents and spin them into national teaching moments about race in America despite the clicks and ratings and thus $$$ they could generate.

American society has changed dramatically since WWII, and this change was not organic, any more than taking a story about a cop shooting a 6'4 290 lb man that is grabbing for his gun organically becomes a story about race and prejudice. The media was instrumental to America's transformation into what it is today, and the media is not done yet. That is why you will continue to see stories twisted and and lies spouted like dogma. The money is a secondary consideration.

RE: The death of Antonio Martin by a cop, five miles from ferguson
The media loves race baiting. They don't tell you the whole picture or give you an angle that shows "whites" as the oppressor and blacks as victims. We get fed on tv the pictures if poor Africans or poor Latinos, but never trailer park white trash. Rich white people adopting black or Chinese babies but never the other way around rich blacks adopting white babies. Just a thought. Had it been some white guy who got shot, no media coverage at this level.

Sorry, a bit off on a tangent but the deaths of these individuals by cops is a tragedy. However, why is it always the cops to blame. Maybe they should start blaming themselves. My parents came from a poor communist country and their families weren't apart of the communist party, members or what have you. Yet, nobody I know of from that country caused mischief or were shot for doing legal things. Debate with me anytime. Just because you are poor doesn't mean you have to carry a gun or steal. There is welfare and other social assistance programs in the USA for you to not do that. It's a bunch of lazy bums who want to blame racism on them not succeeding or getting jobs. Too many definitions of racism or how blacks cannot be racist or what have you. BS.

Another thing, maybe they should blame their congressmen and senators for failing to deliver. Give them equal funding for schools and social programs as the higher income districts get. In Canada all schools (provincially speaking) get equal funding. The public schools in a rich area is no different than a poor area. Both receive equal funding. In fact, if more students are disabled or have learning disabilities, more special ed teachers are provided regardless of demographics or location. In the USA, public schools receive funding based in the tax revenue from the area. So poor areas receive x dollars while rich areas receive y dollars. The poor areas receive less money from tax revenue which in turn causes a cycle of poverty. It also doesn't help having idiots as parents for some of these kids. I know my parents would not blame the cops for my death if I had an illegal gun. There would be grief, but no blaming crooked cops.

I had to get that off of my chest. It's terrible that lives are lost. Stop blaming the cops, start blaming the lawmakers. The lawmakers control the cops.

Very good point but in NYS actually all the school districts get a lot of money. Property taxes pay for schools and state revenue supplements the rest.

In NYC the funding in the black ghetto is the same as funding in the white ghetto( technically every area is a bit of a ghetto). I use to teach the textbooks, everything is the same.

The problem lies , like you mention, in culture. My nephew is half chinese . His parents believe in education and he was in a gifted school at age of 7.

Certain ethnic groups(races, etc) don't push the kids. I worked in Crown heights..the parents didn't help the kids with their homework or always force them to behave. In fact they often tried to sue the school by getting their kids to do stuff and blame the teachers.

In the white areas you also have kids like this. We all know them. The pot head rocker air heads. There parents were often to blame as well.

Kids who excel in school learn because they excel at home. They read, go to the library, etc.

I don't blame the kids at all..I blame the parents.

But it has nothing to do with funding..in fact there are more Special ed. teachers in the bad areas. My sister in law (Chinese) is a special ed. teacher btw. The majority of the ESL teachers are also in the ghetto because of the immigrants who don't learn English.

But I am going by NYS..which spends A LOT on education. More than all the others and TOO MUCH IF YOU ASK ME! Many are leaving the state because of the excess spending. Sucks if one doesn't have kids that we have to support them...20k per student lol.

All states are different!

http://247wallst.com/special-report/2014...education/
There are states that spend very little regardless of area..Las Vegas and Florida for example. But those states have low taxes and Florida is meant as a state for old people it seems.

Are you fucking dense? The Tamir Rice thread doesn't warrant 5 pages because it's a cut and dry obvious case of excessive force by the police. It isn't controversial. The reason that the Michael Brown and Antonio Brown cases are warranting these threads is because for some fucked up reason, the media is turning it into a racial circle jerk to generate ratings.

I should be the one asking you that question.

Tamir Rice wasn't controversial? The officer WASN'T INDICTED. By your definition Eric Garner's case was "cut and dry" as well. Clear use of excessive force. The officer WASN'T INDICTED EITHER. They were, in fact, considered controversial because of the sense of INJUSTICE not because they were convoluted.

My point is this thread seems like a big circle jerk implying that since not all cops involved in shootings are as guilty as the media wants them to be, they should be exonerated from criticism. That's not what this country is about.

I don't think the officer should have been indicted in the Tamir Rice case, either. However, I do think the police department itself is at fault, because the caller clearly told dispatch that the gun being waved around was probably fake. BUT the dispatcher never relayed that information to the responding police officers.

Naturally, the media is still spinning this case into "police brutality" by constantly saying "12 year old boy" - even though that 12 year old boy was 195 pounds and looks much older than he actually was.

Quote:By your definition Eric Garner's case was "cut and dry" as well. Clear use of excessive force. The officer WASN'T INDICTED EITHER. They were, in fact, considered controversial because of the sense of INJUSTICE not because they were convoluted.

The Eric Garner controversy happened because of the media.

Many headlines said "Illegal Chokehold", but the word "illegal" is wrong, because chokeholds aren't illegal when police use them. And the word "chokehold" is wrong, because a "chokehold", properly defined, restricts the airway by crushing the trachea. Whereas a "headlock", properly defined, avoids crushing the trachea. Since Eric Garner didn't have a crushed trachea, he was never placed in a "chokehold".

So the sense of injustice happened because both media and the general citizenry are willfully ignorant of precise definitions of words, dislike the fact that precise definitions of words are the focus of all trials, and arrogantly think their opinions of the law should be given equal respect as those of legal experts.

Quote:My point is this thread seems like a big circle jerk implying that since not all cops involved in shootings are as guilty as the media wants them to be, they should be exonerated from criticism. That's not what this country is about.

My counter-point is that "criticism" from ignorant people, operating from a position of deliberate ignorance, is also not what this country is about. This country is about giving everyone equal opportunity to become properly educated, while warning everyone that failure to self-educate will harm yourself, your children, your neighborhood, and your nation.

Edited to add: Because of my libertarian leanings, I personally hold the caller most responsible in the Tamir Rice shooting. If she was reasonably sure that the gun was a toy, then she had no damn business calling the police in the first place. Because why is a police presence required to get an annoying kid to stop pointing pellet guns at people?

I'll oppose your opinion on the cop not being at fault MMX.

The police dept. that hired him is undoubtedly at fault because his file said in so many words that his trainers believed that he couldn't keep his shit together or make good decisions under pressure. That describes everything that a cop isn't. That guy applied for police depts. knowing that he was fired for being dangerously underqualified. Unfortunately for him, instead of skating by and collecting his fixed paycheck, the perfect situation came along that proved how terrible of a cop he made out to be and how poorly vetted he was.

That's a fair criticism, TonySandos. Smile

However, the phrase "is at fault" isn't very precise, because some kinds of "being at fault" are illegal - (which should result in indictments and possible jail time), but other kinds of "being at fault" are NOT illegal - (which should result in no charges, and no possible jail time).

Some people, (not you, I don't think -- but many of the protestors), don't seem to know the difference between "criminally at fault" and "not criminally at fault". So they expect indictments every time the police are at fault, and claim that we're "living in a police state" whenever non-indictments happen. This has become so common and so annoying that I begin facebook discussions with supposedly irrelevant questions like, "Do you think lawyers are learned professionals?" and "Do you respect the law?"

Again, I don't think you're like this. And I agree with you that the cop was at fault. I just don't think he did anything criminally wrong, so I don't think he should've been indicted.

As much as I've learned about police regulations from the cops I work with, I admit that I've never asked this question or thought to bring it up. I don't know if that cop is liable in the sense that a doctor would be in a malpractice case for knowing that he was considered unfit for duty, but was hired elsewhere by using a loophole. I'd hope he would be. Would you want paramedics on call that lose their head at the sight of blood or having studied their materials since their graduating exam?

The only one of my Facebook friends who kept whining about Michael Brown was an Asian guy who runs his own investment fund and lives in Maine. Yes, seriously. I told him it was a load of BS, and furthermore, that neither he nor I would work as a cop in Ferguson. I also pointed out that one of the unintended consequences of all of this is going to be that cops will simply refuse to police such areas. Crime will hardly improve that way.

I like that idea of blu flu. In fact, if I were in charge, I'd drop subtle hints into the media that an unusually large number of cops were coming down with something and it was highly likely that there'd be a large number off work over the next week. Fuck it, give all the rioters the *wink wink* to go ahead and loot all of the white SJW suburbs and see how quickly everyone changes their tune about justice.
