I saw that nonsense about them banning guns on bumble. Makes no sense and really pissed me off. I like to hunt, as most all of us do here in the south.

On another note, I ran the experiment to see if keeping a profile around for a long time nets you top tier quality. There's a fair user base in my area, not huge. Once I was on there for past a week and had a my first batch of dates, things slowed down alot. I was running out of girls after 4 swipes every day. I'm sure if I lived in a huge city it would look different. Will have to delete and reinstall at a later time.

The "marketing team" is all female - and they're doing shit job putting out content.

Matter of fact I personally know the guys who are putting in the work on the content and giving it to the girls.

Pinterst is also popular with women. Women-focused apps exist but since nobody cares about them never make much noise. When is the last time you heard about Pintrest? The website sucks and I still don't understand the point of it.

Bumble is nothing without men.

Men will gravitate towards the app but you can't change nature. Women seldom make the first move and the largest extent of a woman making the first move on an app is ... "hey" or "heey" or "heeey!" is she is really down for it.

Bumble confuses the demand to make a safe environment for women while ignoring key traits of female biology. The app will never succeed because of fo this. It will continue to burn money until they throw the hands up and take the payday.

Women are cowards. I remember my one friend she had a guy rotting away on Tinder match list collecting dust waiting for him to message her. "Why don't you just say hi" I tell her .. she replies "Oh no, I couldn't as I don't know what to say." Aka she fears rejection and wants to keep the magic mystique alive of her betting banged out by some 6 foot 4 tatted up bouncer (she seen the guy in person one time, and since she matched with him on Tinder she was convived it could be something with depth lol).

What we will see is Tinder will just simply copy elements of bumble while keeping ways to entertain male thirst to keep them locked in and paying for memberships.

I think the reason why women are using Bumble is not because they have to make the first move (which can be easily subverted with nonsense openers) but because it gives off more of a serious dating vibe rather than Tinder's red-light-district vibe. That's all it is. Even with Tinder's no-douchebag nonsense, it still has that hookup culture reputation and it will never go away. It's embedded into pop-culture now.

I find the attractiveness of women on Bumble is well below Tinder. The vast majority of women on Bumble in my area are 25 and older with very visible signs of aging. Tinder is where the hot 18-24 year olds are

Is it just me or do girls go out of their way to be unappealing on this thing? Like their photos... it should be so easy. Just pull a few good ones from times when you were out having fun, be it on vacation, on a hike, out with friends, etc. Done. It's that simple. These types of photos tend to be cute, warm, and inviting:





But they're rare. Far more common are photos like these:





What in the fuck?? Does any guy in the world actually prefer the second two over the first two? And the kicker is that the latter two are more trouble. They have to go out of their way to stage those selfies and apply the stupid-ass filters, while photos like the first two are likely readily available in their vacation albums or on facebook. And this isn't just something you see once in a while; the *majority* of women on Bumble do this shit for some reason.

I'd love to know the psychology behind these hideous selfies. Do the girls mistakenly thing they look more appealing to men than normal photos? Or do they do it to look intimidating and reduce the torrent of overeager betas trying to get dates?

It's truly bewildering.
