Quote:Why No Honor Code Trial of Jackie Coakley in Her Haven Monahan Hoax Slander?
BY STEVE SAILER • APRIL 20, 2015
One of the University of Virginia’s proudest features is an Honor Code that extends far beyond simply academic cheating to holding UVA students to high standards of personal behavior. It’s a holdover from the Virginian tradition of gentlemanly conduct that provided America with individuals such George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Robert E. Lee, and George C. Marshall. Not surprisingly, Sabrina Rubin Erdely of Rolling Stone found Virginia’s Honor Code highly repugnant.
It’s hard to imagine a more flagrant violation of the UVA Honor Code than Jackie Coakley’s slanderous hoax that she repeatedly perpetuated from age 18 through 20. She began by elaborately concocting electronic evidence for a dream date suitor she called Haven Monahan to entrap a freshman boy named Ryan in a unwanted romantic relationship. When she failed to make Ryan jealous, she invented a horrifying story of sexual abuse. But Ryan only slept on her floor that night, along with another male friend, rather than comfort her one on one.
The next semester, Jackie used her gang rape story on Dean Nicole Eramo as an excuse for her bad grades, later exposing Dean Eramo to a national campaign of personal vilification. Coakley then joined a support group and lied repeatedly to her fellow coeds. She became a minor campus celebrity in the feminist racket. She repeated her preposterous story, specifying one particular fraternity, to yellow journalist Sabrina Rubin Erdely, causing a mob of Social Justice Warriors to carry out a Kristallnacht on that frat house.
She brought nationwide vilification down upon her fellow students at UVA.

In other words, Jackie lied countless times to slander fellow UVA students. I used to assume that she had some serious problems involving delusions, but the evidence is clear now that she lied over and over for rational reasons of gaining various petty advantages for herself, like trying to snag a handsome boyfriend, getting out trouble for bad grades, being a star on campus in today’s anti-straight white male atmosphere of hate, and becoming a quasi-national celebrity on campus.
Any student or faculty member could bring an honor code complaint against Jackie, and the school’s honor committee regularly works to get students to bring forward more complaints. So far, no one has brought such a complaint publicly against Jackie.
UVA President Teresa A. Sullivan should file Honor Code charges against Jackie Coakley in the name of all UVA students past and present.

Nicole has literally become wealthy playing both sides of the rape narrative. First she gets a cushy administrative job running a campus kangaroo court to accuse college men of rape.
Then when overzealous liberal mag accuses her of ignoring rapes, she sues them and will get a large pay day.
Nicole Eramo has made a living off rape!
Hopefully the fraternity is waiting to file theirs because its 10x more damaging and devastating than 7 million

Back in my day, it was Dead Grandmothers.
It's hilarious how women say they want to work or study, then spent most of their time coming up excuses for not wanting to do the work or study they supposedly wanted to do.

Probably because she's no longer enrolled at UVA.

Reminds me of Mattress Girl having other people carry her mattress. Sadly, that attitude continues into adulthood.

75K is the statutory minimum to allege in order to get into federal court on what is essentially a tort claim. That's why they picked that number.

This New York Times article about Will Dana's resignation is unintentionally hilarious. Rolling Stone is a mag that's prided itself on being bolder and more outrageous than its stodgy contemporaries. Exposés of government officials! Nude women on the cover! Demands that everyone be held accountable!
And yet when Rolling Stone itself has to answer to the media, that forthrightness suddenly evaporates. They can't even answer questions directly.
"When asked if the departure was linked to the controversy over the discredited article, Rolling Stone’s publisher, Jann S. Wenner, said, via a spokeswoman, that “many factors go into a decision like this.”"
Also:
"Mr. Dana and Mr. Wenner both declined to be interviewed."I thought the fraternity would sue them for like 100 million, now it's just a couple of frat members suing for 75k, what a joke.
Edit: but why would that amount change once they're in federal court? I didn't think you could change anything just because the court switches

jesus fucking Christ. $500,000 a year to be a dumb cunt. I see people struggling to find a job or a use for their labor, and they just give cunts like Emily Renda and Teresa Sullivan fat paychecks to do absolutely nothing just because they're women.

The fraternity has now filed a
$25 million lawsuit against Rolling Stone:
Quote:The Phi Kappa Psi fraternity chapter at the University of Virginia filed a $25 million lawsuit Monday against Rolling Stone magazine, which published an article in 2014 that alleged a freshman was gang raped at the house during a party.
The lawsuit focuses on a Rolling Stone article titled “A Rape on Campus,” which detailed a harrowing attack on a freshman named Jackie at the Phi Psi house on Sept. 28, 2012. The article, written by Sabrina Rubin Erdely, described how Jackie was raped by seven men while two others watched in a second floor bedroom while a fraternity party raged downstairs. The article alleged that the attack was part of a hazing ritual at the long-time U-Va. fraternity.
The Washington Post found significant discrepancies in the Rolling Stone account, including that the fraternity did not host a party that night in 2012 and that a student identified by Jackie as her main attacker was never a member of the fraternity and did not attend U-Va.
Two investigations — by the Columbia University journalism school and the Charlottesville Police Department — later confirmed that there was no gang rape at the fraternity.
“The fraternity chapter and its student and alumni members suffered extreme damage to their reputations in the aftermath of the article’s publication and continue to suffer despite the ultimate unraveling of the story,” the Phi Psi chapter said in a statement Monday. “The article also subjected the student members and their families to danger and immense stress while jeopardizing the future existence of the chapter.”
Rolling Stone retracted the story in April, and the magazine’s editor, Will Dana, later resigned.
A spokesperson for Rolling Stone declined to comment Monday.
In July, three U-Va. alumni members of the Phi Psi fraternity filed a federal lawsuit in New York against Rolling Stone. One of the fraternity members, George Elias, wrote in the lawsuit that he lived in a second floor bedroom of the house in 2012, which led members of the U-Va. community to assume he possibly took part in the alleged gang rape.
The magazine also faces a $7.5 million federal lawsuit filed by Nicole Eramo, a U-Va. associate dean who assists sexual assault survivors on campus and who alleges that she was vilified in the Rolling Stone account.
In the wake of the Rolling Stone article’s publication, the Phi Psi house was vandalized, windows were broken and anonymous activists scrawled “UVA Center for Rape Studies,” on the building.
According to the fraternity’s complaint filed in state court: “This defamation action is brought to seek redress for the wanton destruction caused to Phi Kappa Psi by Rolling Stone’s intentional, reckless, and unethical behavior.”

About fucking time, I hope they burn that fucking magazine to the goddamn ground.

Unfortunately, that is very unlikely. Jann Wenner, the publisher of Rolling Stone, is worth about $700 million, and the magazine's advertising revenue is on the order of $170 million a year (2013 figures). The lawsuit will likely be settled for a good deal less than $25 million. They will pay a very small price for the damage they inflicted.
And of course, Jackie Coakley will pay no price whatsoever, Teresa Sullivan remains UVa president, and college administrations, under pressure from the government and SJW organizations, are doubling down on the witch hunts and "sexual assault" kangaroo courts. There is no good news to report on this.

Is it wrong that, knowing the girl's background, when I look at her husband, I just think "what a fucking loser."
It is sometimes written in the manosphere/RVF/Neomasculine domain that women rarely face consequences for their poor behaviour, no matter how outrageous.
This story would seem to confirm that idea.
Disgusting. What a chump.
Poor bastard. He's not bad looking. He just needed the gym and this forum.
Somebody tell this guy: It's only gonna get worse. Both the fat AND the crazy!
She is fat probably being pregnant with the child of the fake rapist. And the loser is gonna raise it. Holy fuck there is no end to the patheticness of men. I mean we rail on stupid shit women do but when the majority of men are like this pussy it just weakens us. Am I a total asshole for thinking within the year he will be in jail because of some false abuse charge by this walking bucket of regret and victimhood?
This guy is fucked. Maybe I'll take out some life insurance on this guy. Would be no surprise to me if he ends up on one of those hour long news specials where his wife gets away with murder.
Peace on earth and good will toward men and all that jazz.
