Basically, Erdely coaches Jackie through her tall tales. Setting her up with questions like 'aren't fraternitys all rape factories anyways? Don't you feel a responsibility to name the fraternity that raped you?'. Each time Jackie makes an excuse for her utterly unbelievable fairy tale, Erdely responds with a piece of trauma theory from her favorite source the rape tourrettes on campus.

Those voices make my penis sad.

A sane court decidion, this is refreshing.

Jury finds reporter, Rolling Stone responsible for defaming U-Va. dean with gang rape story

Quote:Sexton said that the article’s retraction cost Erdely her job at Rolling Stone and her reputation as a journalist.

“She hasn’t written a classified since then,” Sexton said.

Sweet schadenfreude.

Another interesting thing - here an interview where in the very first report she wrote she was found to have repeated lies about a celebrity. She wrongfully assumed that mainstream media publications would be correct in certain statements, while in reality they were wrong:

IN her infamous article however the jury found her especially guilty because she had a certain bias.

She wanted to write:

+ white Christian blonde guilty
+ privileged white Christian wealthy men
+ evil universities covering up for their white male rapists
+ poor raped female victims who are ostracized both by the universities as well as their friends in a fundamental rape culture patriarchy

Quote:Eramo’s lawyers presented evidence that Erdely had a predetermined notion of what her story would be, discussing the concept of the story that became “A Rape on Campus” well ahead of her reporting, including a note describing how college administrations can be “indifferent” to rape survivors.

Eramo’s lawyers said that Erdely had “a preconceived story line,” and acted with “reckless disregard,” by ignoring conflicting information in her reporting.

“Once they decided what the story was going to be about, it didn’t matter what the facts were,” Clare said.

Of course - because that is how feminists act. They have their idiotic moronic preconceived notions and act on it. Some will go willingly to the Calais camp and get raped because poor oppressed starving refugees are just misunderstood men and not this oppressive-super-violent White Male class that is victimizing them.

The journo-bitch would not have dared writing the article describing gay, Jewish, black, Latino or Muslim students. Even if she found them to be true. Actually I remember that she found some black students supposedly raping (we never know whether it was a hoe who just changed her mind later) a girl, but decided to pick a predominantly white Christian one, because that is the epitome of her feminism-gender-studies oppression bullshit.

She should be sued for multiple millions and Rolling Stones for 100-200 mio. + $ by anyone who was even slightly inconvenienced by the crap.

Here's Nicole Eramo, the sexual assault dean at UVA who won her defamation lawsuit today against Rolling Stone.

This might just kill Rolling Stone. I hope it does. The magazine has become totally useless since BO was sworn in.

I actually raised a glass and toasted Erdely and Rolling Stone being brought to justice this evening. Glorious.

Wenner already had to sell 49% of the parent company to some Chinese dude to keep the rag in publication after the civil lawsuits started coming in. If the fraternity wins their $75M lawsuit, Rolling Stone might be done.

Good riddance. I canceled my subscription after this story broke with a note saying "Fire Erdely now, and I might re-up."

They never fired her publicly. Pussies.

So, I now get NME shipped over the pond (I like paper music magazines). The NME editorial staff is just as libtarded as Rolling Stone's, but at least they don't do 9,000 word articles about fake rape culture.

This was a good day.

Steve Sailer just tweeted

Jury orders Sabrina Rubin Erdely to pay $2 million, "Rolling Stone" to pay $1 million for "actual malice" libel.

If the courts really force Erdely to cough up 2 million that will surely bankrupt her family. At minimum sell off whatever assets they have. She's FUCKED.

RS can easily afford the 1 million, hitting Erdely is the best part in this.

Edit: Her husband is a prominent attorney. Can they go after his assets too since they're married?

RS pledged to cover all of her legal fees and damages.

Yup, you beat me to the post. At least she'll never work as a journalist again.

I'm sure her life has been a living hell since this all went down.

Good.

So RS is on the hook for $3 million?

Yes, but the fraternity's case is still pending. They're seeking either $25M or $75M (I've seen reports supporting each), but their odds of winning just went way up with this verdict against Erdely and RS.

So, RS is probably going to be on the hook for more than $3M. Banana

Oh, I thought a judge threw the fraternity's case out.

Hopefully they win. Rolling Stone shouldn't get to stay in business after this.

Good.

I remember seeing an interview with her. She said that she was unsure whether to become a psycho-therapist or a journalist. Then she won something and thought that journalism was her given field. But the funny thing is that in her very first article she used bad journalistic practices - she actually wrote an article about a celebrity quoting data from major magazines. Only later she found out that the magazines had made up the details.

The very same error in the beginning broke her journalistic career this time again.

She can become a therapist. It's fairly easy work for 150-500$ an hour. Just look as if you listen to the person and then try to convince the wife to divorce-rape the man. At least then she can continue to ruin the lives of men one after another. Feminazis will always Feminazi.

She looks fine to me. Her husband is well-off and she has no need of working.

The globalist elite always rewards the docile propaganda artists. Heck - she may even get a job as a journalist in the future. Only dissenters are punished.

This story confuses me. Nobody could be that stupid.

Could there be more that we don't know about? Any chance it was bad blood between two frats and this was a high level move against one? Something like the alums paying a PR company to wreck another frats credibility.

Or did the writer save her lit erotica file to the wrong folder?
