My troll sense is becoming so fine-tuned recently. I think the RVF is one of the few forums where the core members police the forum to such a degree that trolling becomes something we do to the trolls rather than something they do to us. It makes you think: imagine if RVF had a raiding party on another forum? I shudder to think....

Absolutely. I am 100% certain that roosh would NOT condone that sort of stuff, and I wouldn't participate given the climate on "harassment" in America, but it would be funny as fuck.

While I can think of at least one member here who know doubt could troll just about any forum, I don't think that we'd offer much of a threat to the happiness of other forums.

I'd say that the forum members here are too smart to be much use at participating in a trolling raid. Most trolls out there aren't nearly as funny as they think they are and most so-called "trolling" is just a fancy way of saying "being stupid obnoxious."

So much so that I'd argue that you'd have to be pretty stupid to be any success as a troll, at least at the level that most trolling occurs.

As for the more intelligent troll jobs, I would suspect that the efforts from this forum would go completely over the heads of the bulk of society.

It's easy to just ban someone who calls out your ignorance or disagrees with you, which is surely what would happen if red-pill values were espoused on any forum worth trolling, but if done in an intelligent way, they would never know what hit them, because they would never know that they were trolled at all.

The thing about trolls here is that despite how they think that pulling us into some stupid debate will achieve anything, we know that it will just result in a pointless discussion where the idiot doing the trolling will never realize how wrong he is.

Intelligent trolling on some feminist forum wouldn't work well, because if we showed any signs of disagreeing with them, they'd ban us because they can handle logical discussions and if we failed to confront them directly, they'd never realize that they were being humiliated.

Don't suffer fools. They'll just pull you down to their level.

As such, trolling is really the territory of people who are themselves, much dumber than they realize and have nothing better to do with their time.

We all have much better things to do with our time.

Sometimes Alpha could be considered in a way of the guy maintaining frame, and if we maintain frame with the chick then she will likely adjust accordingly, and likely learn to respect those boundaries. If we go too far for her in our alphaness, then she will figure out ways to avoid us, and likely we will either have to adjust our level of "alpha" or accept that chick is not going to be in our life (unless she reverses her position and comes around, which could happen also).

When we maintain frame with guys, then sometimes, we can be left with a kind of confrontation or possibly a giving in of the other guy to our level of "alpha", but then each of us guys learns the limits that each guy is going to go regarding the situation and regarding each other. Being too alpha with another guy could result in a confrontation, or even the loss of guy friends, too, and too much is a kind of subjective conclusion based on the extent to which each of us believes the results are good for us.
