That girl is as annoying as fuck. And the bathroom pull at the end... totally fake. You're telling me the camera guy didn't turn when the action moved and her call to him audio wasn't recorded? BS. If I spent 500$ on an internet game program, I'd be highly disappointed with these results.

And yet this is the end goal promotional video for RSD's latest program.

I'd be tempted to walk from a date that annoying. And I've dated in SF before. Hell, I've dated in the district I know Jeffy lives in. Even for SF, that's low quality. That's a "it's a Tuesday, and this is preferable to masturbating" date.

Krauser had a post a couple days back where he said that one of the major failings of youtube pick-up videos was that good-looking guys were pulling mildly attractive girls they could probably get without game. This video falls into that category. Based on his profile and the fact she is a trashy tattooed woman on OKC, she is basically DTF from the start of the date, and all he has to do is not fuck it up. There's no game here, just and endurance test of whore prattle. To showcase this as the "what our 500$ program will do for you" date makes me think RSD is marketing their program to guys who've never gone on a date before.

Yeah, but a lot of people post or say things that are not representative of who they really are the other 99% of the time. This particular vid by Julien is clearly a troll-based video that is unfortunately overshadowing the true Julien message.

Now on the topic of Julien...

I've always had the reaction to Julien's lines that I've had to Mystery's - "I couldn't see myself saying that." For those that don't know Julien will open a girl by pointing at her and shouting "dog." Pure obnoxious insults as an opener.

I get the idea behind it, but I've always wondered seeing his videos, when is this going to backfire? With all the SJW Yes means Yes stuff in the news, at some point someone is going to come after him, right?

Well, now we know.

The thing is, Julien loves drama. This is like sex for him. When Jezebel did a hit piece on Jeffy, Julien was emailing threats to their writers trying to get them to write about him. So having something he said result in scandal is his goal, and I'm certain he is getting off on it.

Now, I've actually learned some good stuff from the RSD crew. I like a lot of what they do. But I'm also aware of their flaws.

Owen (RSD Tyler) was portrayed in The Game as being a sociopath who got off on power more than sex. Isn't it kind of karmic he'd pick a number two who prefers drama to sex even more than he does?

I'll be curious to see how this develops. I've actually see girls I know posting about canceling his stuff on social media.

The thing is, that's part of his game. He massively trolls people for attention and then wins them over by reframing and redirecting the energy. The same way you can publish an article decrying a particular type of girl and they'll all reblog it and qualify themselves to you, Julien will just insult the prettiest girl in the club and use his boldness to start a conversation.

It's hard to tell with Julien though how much this actually works, because for him, drama is preferable to a close. He talks about girls being willing to go home with him, but wanting to game them more with lying stories. Dark triad to the max. The kind of person you can learn from, but wouldn't want to emulate.

Julien's game is essentially hyper-clown game - talking a lot, being loud and obnoxious and seeking attention by doing stupid shit.

The thing is that this type of game actually works very well in the Anglosphere, and I am guessing that it would work exceptionally well in cities like LA or Vegas.

However, in Japan, I don't think that this type of game isn't going to be very useful. At best, he'll just look like an idiot, and worst, he could get himself into trouble. Nonetheless, he is giving foreigners in Japan a bad reputation.

One big gripe with RSD is that according to them the only difference between daygame and nightgame is that with daygame the sun is up, and you can see that in Julien's Tokyo video. I don't think any RSD instructors actually even do daygame themselves, and the only one who does (Alex, the aussie guy) teaches Day Bang style indirect daygame.

I've actually been to an RSD free tour event. They are really aggressive in following up/calling you/marketing/etc etc. Some of this move for "in field footage" is pretty ridiculous.

I may be a little more invested here as this is my city, and this was a bit of an SJW litmus test. The results came back funky.

Maybe RSD game works to my personality and I wanted to go. Or maybe I had three hours to burn and felt like turning up for entertainments sake and wanted to snicker in the back row. Shouldn’t I have the choice to go and do that?

I can see what you're saying here, but I disagree. I think you're dividing this into an "us" vs. "them" mentality that's blinding you to the fact that the conduct RSD is promoting here really is indefensible. If Roosh was teaching guys how to go to a foreign culture and start manhandling its women on the street, I would drop this site in an instant. That shit's not "clown-game". "Clown game" is wearing a stupid hat or a dumb leapord-print jacket. It's negging. It's making up a ridiculous story to keep some club slut interested. The worst crime a bad practitioner of clown game commits is a fashion one, and the only effect bad clown game has is to drive girls into the arms of people who aren't acting like dipshits. If people want to do it, more power to them.

Grabbing girls you barely know and yanking their face towards your crotch is beyond the limit of things I'm willing to defend. Women have the right to go out without having their head yanked into a strange man's crotch. And if you're taking advantage of their cultural unwillingness to tell you to go away, when you know that's what they're probably thinking, that makes you twice the asshole. Others have pointed out the many, many problems with this. It's counterproductive. It's unnecessary. It ruins things for those of us who aren't dipshits. I'll submit an extra one: it's very likely a crime. The thumbnail image on that youtube video shows him grabbing a reluctant girl at a cash register and kissing her in public. I'm not going to pretend to any expertise on the Japanese legal system, but this seems to me like a pretty flagrant violation of the forcible criminal indecency laws (強制わいせつ罪) That's the same law they use to grab train molestors, and I don't see any reason why this moron wouldn't qualify. (The statute's text is pretty vague.) There's a lesser offence "disturbing the peace" (迷惑防止条例違反), as well. If you get smacked with the former you're looking at 6 months+ in prison. If it's the latter, 6 months or less and a 5k fine. I can't say which of the two would apply: it would probably be the lesser one, but if it somehow got back to the police that you'd been doing this a lot, (or say, it was common knowledge that Americans were coming over to Japan to do this) it might well be the nastier one. And those are for Japanese citizens. I don't know what happens if you're a foreigner; they might simply punt you from the country, or they might decide to make an example of you. (Especially if they just saw something on a variety show last night about Americans coming over to Japan and pawing at unwilling young girls.)

Is he gonna get caught for it? Probably not. The cops aren't everywhere, and a lot of girls don't want to cause a fuss. (Plus, he's leaving quickly anyway.) But if people go to his classes and start imitating him, which is obviously what he's aiming for, sooner or later somebody's going to do this right in front of a police officer.
Others may have varied experiences, but I've found that the cops tend to take a dim view of white guys with Japanese women. Not to the point of plucking them off the street or anything, but I've gotten nasty glares. I remember one time I was going with my girlfriend to a hotel in Osaka when we passed by a police officer's box. It was a decent part of town, I was well-dressed and carrying luggage, it was only 8:00 PM or so, and she and I were both clearly sober. The guy in there looked like he was ready to arrest me at any minute.
But let's say I'm paranoid. Let's say there's only a 1% chance that anybody who does the things he's doing will get arrested (and remember, grabbing a chick at a cash register at kissing her is indisputably a crime). That means if a hundred people listen to his lectures and decide to go do the things he's talking about, one will be looking at the inside of a Japanese prison cell for an indeterminate amount of time. And that's not a place you want to be.

Others who've spent time in Japan, and I know there are quite a few on these boards, can lend their expertise: am I totally off base with this or is there a real possibility that some fool could go to jail for following the advice in this video?

I have a distinct hunch that RSD, and Julian especially suffers from a bad case of ivory tower syndrome.

Their model of business involves the sale of techniques and practices to a largely uninitiated audience, consisting mainly of single Caucasian males struggling with forming relationships with the opposite sex. And so, it is in their interest to promote a veneer of ease in their methods; a myth of invincibility and power demonstrated through 3 things.

1. The ease of which they get the girl.
2. How much "fun" they're having, with the girl.
3. Lastly, how much hatred from "beta" males they get.

The third is most appropriate for these context. They use the backlash as a sort of proof, and guarantee of their method. Added to this is the constant message within their material, that beta males, or "chodes" as they call them, are weak, insecure men who are hopeless at game - whose only recourse is to complain online. A powerful message, especially to a vocal audience that desperately do not want to be associated with being a "chode."

Now here is where it goes wrong. A great majority of men, though not "redpill" are not weak either. If they are silent, it is usually because they do not want to get involved. A fact of which is nicely exploited to enhance the myth of RSD being an "eilte"cadre of men, standing a head above the faceless sea of "chodes."

Now, it seems that it has gone rather too far. Instead of a gentle ribbing, or a side joke - it has gone over into full on shaming and mockery, of an entire race no less. Any restraint or objection from the masses is written off as the whineing of "beta asians" or "chodes". With no checks on power, this will likely not end the way Mr Julian wants.

Just my two cents.

I have been in one of the hotseat events, (I know I know, I was young and stupid...) and that was when I saw the infield footage live that this whole PUA thing and RSD is just insane. I never want to end up a men like them...

What I have learned a lot from RSD Tyler 's videos is the importance of meditation, and building yourself as a successful men and having an interesting life with hobbies you like. The life-coach material was solid, but the game advice was subpar.
