True. So it is the same - just introducing yourself in English will not likely bring you nowhere, and will actually work against you initially as you'd have to prove you're not a sex tourist from Shitterville who just made enough to buy a RyanAir ticket and came for cheap booze and free quality pussy.

Now that's something I can agree with - if you spend some significant effort, you may actually success with a quality girl. But it definitely takes more effort than introducing yourself in English, and getting a SNL for a tourist is very difficult.

PS. Have you seen "Galerianki"?

In touristic cities like Gdansk, many of the girls that are good looking are not even answering to a pickup attempt when made in English language,
they ignore it, they treat it with radio silence.

What is worth trying, is going to large cities that arecompletely
nontouristic like Kielce and Radom... they are large cities,
but I don´t remember anyone not even from RVF ever trying them.

I agree, every guy on the forum seems to only go to Wroclaw, Warsaw, Krakow or Poznan. I would really like to see some experienced members in the upper silesia area - Katowice which includes cities like Zabrze, Bytom, Ruda Śląska, Sosnowiec, Gliwice. All those cities are within 20-30 minutes by train of Katowice. I have been to pretty much all of them but not for gaming purposes, if anyone is interested in coming here or wants some general info I can help.

How many did you actually meet? I get similar match rates here but allot of the time I match with girls in some small town 50km from my city. Not only that, most girls want to be friends in fb or follow them on ig not actually meet, I swear every Polish girl has their Instagram in their bio now.

I had a meetup set with 1 but she flaked. I would have met up with a second but I was leaving too soon for her schedule. So, yeah, I can admit that you have a point. But I can say I almost always got a response from each match, and the quality was far and away higher than what you can expect here in Canada.

All the girls I matched with were well within the city I was in - and I never got any sort of a request to be "just friends" or to add them on IG.

That's just my 0.02.

HSLD

Almost every girl replied to you? That's pretty good, I'd say just under half ignore my initial message.

Depends on what you're interested in but true allot of those cities have fuck all to do except game for most guys. Football (soccer) is interesting here and an 'experience' if nothing else although non white guys should avoid that for sure.

Obviously there are malls and other standard things in Katowice like the Silesian centre also there is a really nice park here which stretches for something like 5km or more, but yeah thinking about it I cant imagine a foreigner to have any reason to travel to a place like Zabrze as just one example. But then again thin, beautiful, sweet and feminine women are enough for allot of guys to travel to these places. So I guess it depends on your personal motivation.

And these are the most nontouristic cities of Poland,
girls there meet foreigners only at best Erasmus students:

Besides Lodz, Lublin (Roosh wrote about Lublin) and Katowice,
the other cities might be undiscovered gems

Łódz 812,300

Bielsko-Biała179,800
Olsztyn 169,900
Ruda Śląska 165,000
Rzeszów 161,300

And finally, here is in full, the famous movie "Galerianki",
polish film that depicts the life of young polish girls
who want to live better than in poverty,
by getting guys to buy them clothes and
sponsoring them...

Good thing you didn't go to my high school. Most of the women were Italian, which means a majority of them had more arm hair than I did.

I'm white, but there is allot of racism around football in Poland. Often black players get racially abused on the field, particularly in smaller cities, I've never seen any non white's at a stadium in Poland, one time I saw a few guys who looked Indian around a stadium in Lodz before a match and there was allot of skinhead looking guys giving them dirty looks and gesturing.

Hey,

I would like to introduce myself to the forum. Been lurking for a while.

I'm landing in Wroclaw tonight, and I will contribute with my experience here. I have been to Krakow once with my ex gf and one time in Gdansk for a weekend with the guys where I landed a ONS with a nice girl. Also had a few other EE trips in the past with gfs.

I'm Scandinavian, mid/late 20s, tall. I plan to travel EE for 3-4 weeks, heading to Kiev later, maybe some other cities in between.

If anyone want to meet up for a beer, give me a heads up. I love a good night out too and will focus on night game and online (but seems like online is pretty bad compared to e.g Kiev).

RE: The Poland thread
I can vouch for Lodz, I've been there many times and my cousin would connect me into the night life scene. The city itself isn't the gem of Poland, but you get to appreciate the grit after a while. It doesn't hurt that the city is full of students. But don't expect too much foreign status, I've met exchange students in venues from all over the world.

It can be quite depressing coming back to the US after you get used to walking into a venue and being overwhelmed by the sight of well-maintained smoking girls. If you're in the city, try and stay on Piotrkowska street, it's where most of the nightlife action is. The better clubs would be Klub Kokoo, Czekolada, and Spinka. Kaliska is also a cool artsy bar. Most of these places are in side alleys so ask around for location, and keep in mind that there is a turnover in the most happening spots every year or two. I'd avoid the lower class venues, sure they might have some cute village girls, but the dudes there get drunk and inevitably start fights.

And Roosh is right about the increasing adoption of hipster culture, especially in the last 5 years or so, and it's really disappointing. Nonetheless, I wouldn't let that stop you from visiting the city. There are still plenty of cute and friendly Polish girls (who aren't covered in tats or shaved half their head) to go around.

RE: The Poland thread
I got a job offer in Poland and are looking for some quick feedback. The job is fulltime and I'll be studying at the same time however I think it will be a good opportunity for me anyway. After six months in Poland I can get a drivers license which I can change for a Swedish.

They offer me 4700PLN a month, is this a good salary? They also offer me a room in a shared apartment with one other coworker for 300PLN or I'd get three months paid rent in an apartment I choose myself.

Is the salary good? It's around 1000EURO after rent if I do the shared option.
How much would a months rent be if I find my own apartment? It would have to be fully furnished.... Guessing that might be hard to find?

By the way the job is in Lodz which seems to be a pretty shitty city but also not overrun by foreigners.

EDIT; after looking at AirBnb it seems like a comfortable apartment is around €400/month?

Think I'll take this offer. Could be interesting. Didn't even read Bang Poland yet.

In what field do you work?

In general 4700 PLN net is quite decent for Lodz. From what I've heard it's universally considered a shithole.

It will be in accounting, I've never done this before however they need Swedish speakers and will provide me with some training.

4700 (-300 accommodation) is gross and as I've understood it they will tax me 18%.

Yeah I've also read that Lodz is a shithole, however it will be more exciting than my small town is Sweden. I'll have to stay at least seven months or else they will charge me all the benefits I get for coming there. I need to stay there atleast six months before I can do the drivings license and apperantly thirty hours of theory and thirty hours practical driving is necessary before I can do the tests. I hope I can do this 60 hours of training before I've been there a half year, then just do the license after six months and resign and head back to Asia after seven.

To have your net salary in Poland, you take your gross one and remove 30%. All taxes are taken from your salary. Won't have to pay anything else.

You should go ahead and do it. With 4700PLN you definitely won't be ballin' but it's plenty to have fun and take girls out (especially coming from Sweden). Keep in mind, though, that upper scale items (cappuccino, sushi, whiskey) are pretty much priced like in the US/Western Europe. Just stock up at a local grocer for food, beer, vodka. For reference, one of my cousins is making 8000PLN and has a really good life. Another is making 3000, and pretty much scraping by.

Like I said, Lodz isn't a gem of a city. Tourists don't bother coming here, and every time I visit I kind of get depressed for the first few days. But then I get back into the groove, find a few places where I like to hang out at, and the women help out Smile. The city has a ton of students and artists who make the place better. It has a pretty interesting history too, used to be the "Promised Land" where the textile tycoons made fortunes and left behind vast factories and elegant mansions. Google the Manufaktura shopping center. We don't even have those types of malls in the US. And if you ever get sick of Lodz grime, Warsaw is only one hour away.

Friar, a lot of filmmakers in Lodz? I heard that Lodz is the heart of Polish filmmaking.

RE: The Poland thread
For sure, at least from an academic perspective since the business side is mostly in Warsaw. Lodz Film School churns out the best directors, actors, producers, etc. (including the infamous Roman Polanski is an alumnus). This year's Oscar for best foreign film went to 'Ida' which was made by a team that got their chops in the city.

The main strip even has a knock off Hollywood Walk of Fame, where one can walk over gold stars with engraved names of film-related Polish celebs. So goes the nickname HollyŁódź (pronounced Hollywooj) haha

But I wouldn't go in expecting hot aspiring models and actresses, the vibe is definitely more nerdy film buff student.

So Warsaw has most of the film business? Interesting. Thanks for the info!
