Precisely. That's along the lines of what i was saying.

People from other cities in Poland, to a degree, resent those in Warsaw. Those in Warsaw behave as though they are the 21st century incarnation of Polish landed nobility and all the rest, excusing Wroclaw and a couple of other places, are backwater Djowka (country house) living farmers. Status.

Yes, the Polish girls in Warsaw 'look up' to foreigners, just as the exotic foreign effect works everywhere. All in all, I'm glad we agree, 'they' don't 'put on a show' because they want to leave, no no no, they do it because they are representing their city and are immensely proud of it, want to communicate that feeling, demonstrating their satisfaction in what they feel like they are building / involved with - Warsaw.
The claim by Pokerbaby that they are 'eager to meet a foreigner and move on' is frankly distorted. No, that's too polite. It is just wrong. Like i said, it can happen, but 'this' is life and therefore anything can happen, but Polish girls in Warsaw 'eager to meet a foreigner and move on' is by no means the tendency.

Maybe it's just honest misinterpretation. Happens all the time.

It's all right. I don't mind a difference on opinion. In fact I think I like it.

Maybe I'm wrong, I've been to Warsaw twice for the equivalent of about 2 weeks. So I am not calling myself an expert on Poland or Warsaw for that matter.

I struck up a conversation a friendship with a Polish woman. Late 20's/early 30's, decent looking but not as hot as so many others. Highly intelligent. She told me she worked two jobs. One was as an air traffic controller and I forgot her 2nd job, just remembering it was respectable too.

I told her that I wanted to live in Poland. I found the culture, food and atmosphere very compelling. Of course, my major reason for liking Poland was that Polish women are beautiful and friendly but I didn't mention that.

She told me Ishe didn't understand and she told me quite literally "most polish people are looking to get out." She said she was hardly unique as someone working two jobs to pay the bills.

I know what you're saying about things having improved a lot, in terms of credit and housing market. My Polish friend says that about 40% of the population of Warsaw live to the equivalent of someone middle class in an American city. But there's still a substantial population that live on 500-700 US a month and given the relatively higher cost of things in Poland, have quite a low standard of living. Why wouldn't they want to move out?

My guess is that you got unlucky and went to clubs that had some of the minority rich or maybe you just got unlucky and met the wrong women.

It's a fair guess, and i appreciate the effort, but no. I've been going to Poland since i was a kid and my interpretation of the situation is determined, if not down right biased, by that. I've seen the reaction of others develop, not just to myself but friends who have come there with me, to the extent that it is quite startlingly obvious that Warsaw-ites are proud of themselves and their status as residents of Warsaw, in a similar fashion to Cypriots post EU entry or Croats this summer. They no longer seek the greener grass, and definitely not eagerly. Things have changed dramatically since, without being certain of a particular moment, let's say circa 2007, the majority of Warsaw-ites came to the realisation that their standing of living was the envy of almost all of Poland and, to a fair degree, not inferior to that which was on offer to them should they uproot and move to Lyon, Stockholm, Frankfurt or Leeds. The key point, which perhaps might have slipped past, is that i am speaking only of Poles residing in Warsaw, not Poles generally.

Most girls, guys too, in Warsaw between the ages of 18-32 know people (friends or family) in London, Southampton, Dublin or wherever the Anglican church has once tried to place its cross. They know, through those people, that their life in Warsaw is equal too, in more instances than not, the one offered to the Pole in these other places and, what's more, the Warsaw-ites have the status and prestige that the Pole in London, who emigrated in 2005, for example, is likely to not have. The Pole who stays and works in Warsaw has a level of esteem that the Pole who emigrated to London typically doesn't. Whereas once it might have been cool to work in London, return to Poland, and be seen as 'that person' who works 'over there'. Now there is almost a sense of 'inward shame' in having to seek a career abroad, for Warsaw-ites, that is. Granted, much of my social network in Warsaw is upper middle class, but i'm not naive enough to base these thoughts on something as flimsy as that. Besides, if i were, would i confess the foundation of the thoughts so swiftly? Well, perhaps i might, were it a game of bluff, but, frankly, if you believe me or not is of little concern to me. What is of concern is the veracity of the information on this forum. I only joined the other day, after being a non posting guest for quite a while, and made a point to myself. If i am going to be part of this forum i might as well contribute. If somebody is providing misinformation and it might be interpreted as a solid considered thought, not merely a disinterested distant opinion, well, then i ought to point it out, should i happen to know otherwise. And here, in this instance, i do.

My social network in Warsaw is tight. I can see their mentality. Conflate that with the mentality of the girls i have met anew, without introduction via mutual friends, and i see it is a wider phenomena. Warsaw girls might want some American dick for the weekend - to say they have done it - and they might want an Italian guy for the holidays - after they easyjet their holiday to Venice - but in no way are they all eager to move out of the city and get on, as you suggested. You're wrong. But it's ok. Unlike the girls in Warsaw I AM eager to move on.

RE: The Poland thread
Ok so you've been to Warsaw since you were a kid, which makes me think you are probably Polish yourself.

Then you also mention your social circle was mainly upper middle Class ???

On this, you make conclusions about how the people of Warsaw think of foreigners, particularly those from North America? NO offense Bro, but to me this doesn't make sense. You aren't really a "Foreigner". Your exposure to Warsaw was as a Polish guy hanging out with Warsaw's privileged few. Of course you think the way you do. If you go to the states and hang out with the privileged people of New York City, for example, you will get a highly skewed view of how New Yorker's think of themselves compared to the rest of the country.

All I can say is that thanks to Roosh, there are going to be Hundreds or Maybe thousands more people trying out Poland. Would it not be worth the Ryanair flight from any other major polish city to Warsaw to try it out for a few days?

I went to Krakow, I struck out. I went to Bialystock, I struck out. I got cockblocked like crazy in those cities. I went to Warsaw, I scored. Not once, but multiple times. Simple and straight forward. No matter what your view on Warsaw at the end of the day, North Americans can pick up there and I'm living proof.

Warsaw deserves a chance.

Warsaw deserves a chance.

Without being a prick I'll have to resort to being pedantic, which pretty much makes me a prick, still, i will procede.

Yes, you are right. Such a clique would no doubt influence my view. However, i already accounted for it.

I've already indicated that the fact that in Warsaw i hang in upper middle class circles is likely to bias my view, but, as i anticipated that this was going to be your line of response, rather obvious as it was, i already said in the previous post that you ought not to assume that i have formed my perspective purely on the back of that. To have done so would have been naive on my part, and for you to assume that of me, when i have indicated otherwise, would have been naive on yours. And yet you still responded and pointed it out. Ok.
So, I'll have to elaborate even more.

I'm not Polish in any meaningful way. A grandmother was, yes, but she lived in the Mediterranean or London most of her life. I don't look Polish. I speak it well but i do so in the way that it is obvious i'm not Polish. My 3 other grandparents were all Mediterranean. My speech, in Polish, (although not only, as my sentences here are proof towards) is riddled with grammatical errors. My interactions there are not as a Polish guy. They are those of a guy who has been there several times before. When i am there, i am a foreigner.

Now, the final point where my pedantry will touch. You have transformed your argument. Whereas before you were of the view that 'girls in Warsaw were eager to get out' , now your tone, or words, are that of 'If i'm in that region anyway, then i might as well take a cheap flight to Warsaw because as an American guy i can get off with girls there.'

You see, that's an entirely different argument.

I'm not sure i could agree with you more on the latter. Yes. Indeed. Absolutely. Without prejudice and even a sense of relief, i agree with you. If you're American then Warsaw can be plenty of fun. The girls will want to bang, to add you to their checklist, just as you add them to yours. Messr, you are right.
Only that was not your original point.

Your original point was that girls in Warsaw were looking, eagerly, to get out. That is where you are wrong. They are not.

Sure, the girls in Warsaw will bang an American, just as they want to bang a Brit, an Italian, a Greek, a Spaniard, a Brazilian and a Frenchman. But that's not the same as imagining they want to get out and leave the city.

They are, for the most part, quite contented there and not looking for a prince to come and rescue them, as your 'eagerly looking to get out' post suggested.

I mean, do you realise what those types of words imply?
It makes it sound like Warsaw is Moscow 1998, or Kiev 2004, or Brazil 2000. One of those mythical times when all girls were waiting on a prince in satin armour (Soprano's slip). It isn't like that at all and to write that it is is giving the wrong impression to people who haven't been to the city.

Sure, should you happen to be American, by all means go there and bang. But it isn't as easy as that. They are not chickens in a coop. These are girls who will be swayed by the exotic appeal of the somebody different, but they aren't imagining or 'eagerly' wanting you to take them to Missouri or New York away from the hell hole that is Warsaw. No. They are, as i said, by and large, quite content in Warsaw.

Anyway, it is the weekend. I wish you no harm, just bangs and more bangs. I'll step back, qualify my statements, and let it be. Giving the wrong impression of a city helps nobody. I was reacting to your statements. I'll acknowledge that the reactionary man is typically the 'more' wrong man, at least in any sensible psychological analysis, but not here.

Peace.

For girls/pickup = Warsaw

For overall tourist experience = Krakow

Krakow is a great city to visit. Everything is within walking distance. There are nearby Salt Mines, which are a must see. Concentration camps if you are into history. Food is excellent. Not that expensive. Big problem with Krakow is that stag parties have ruined the women and they aren't that friendly and approachable. Day game works much better.

The cities are fairly close, just a 2 1/2 hour train ride.

Right guess.I will try to be as close to the polish border as I can. These areas are usually avoided by foreigners. The only problem I see will be the good mood created by the slavic neighbourhood which is in contrast to the strict look German requirement.
I will spread my royal presence through constant invasions of the polish lands.

Nice move. By all accounts, Berlin is supposed to be extremely cheap living standard for a Western European capital with 2BR apartments going for as low as 500-600 euro/month or outright purchased for 60-70k euro.

Also has the big Berlin Tegel airport with many cheap airports all over Europe, and the crazy Berlin party scene.

The Germany/Poland/Greece combo sounds like a pretty good idea Kamaki.

They were surprised when I expressed my desire to work in eastern Germany since all foreigners prefer the western part due to slightly better salaries. It is the first time someone expresses commitment to the eastern Germany they told me.
The dream would be to relocate in the triangle shaped by the borders of Germany, Poland, CR.This is a real heaven a region where these three civilizations meet.
Lots of polish girls begged me to stay and work in Poland but I do not see any quick rise of wages there so I will prefer the German comfort and relative stability.

Görlitz is amazing.Been there recently. But the jewel is Zgorzelec on the other side.Quality of women phenomenal. With only a bridge to separate the polish from the German part it is a revelation for the slavic women admirer.

Is Zgorzelec really a place where one can operate, given it only has a population of 32,000 or so? I just looked it up on wikipedia. It looks charming, but seems quite quaint.

I was also surprised when I hit the club.Unfortunately my polish female companion drove me out of there ASAP when faced with the competition.
As many polish girls have explained to me they are afraid another polish girl will grab me so they would prefer me in some way to stay in a country like Germany.

I was also surprised by the sheer amount of middle aged out of shape Germans hooked up with young polish girls.
Teutonic order seems to enjoy quite a reputation.
A certain sign you are in polish part is that the boobs are obviously much grown. Also a movement in trousers is a reliable sign.

I'm about a 6 hour drive from Görlitz right now and, although it's far from Poland, it's the sweetest spot in S. Germany I could find. I work on US bases and the closest I can get to the east is Grafenwöhr, but that area sucks balls. I imagine you must be pretty fluent in Deutsch to live so far east. Not only is it expected, but I found from my 2.5 years living in the east that it's looked at as an insult to speak English to anyone as they are so nationalistic there. Living in Germany really feels like punishment when compared to other more fun countries nearby, but a necessary evil if you want a decent pay check.

Yup, Polish girls can make you horny just by listening to their voices, it's amazing.

Regarding cities next to Poland or the triangle: no German I know of would want to live in Frankfurt an der Oder or Görlitz unless this person is from one of these towns. Also, I don't know what kind of job opportunities would exist in these places....it's no man's land in the eyes of most Germans.

Dresden would be my town of choice...or Berlin, of course.

I totally agree and was just joking about those 2 towns as they are right on the border of Poland...Dresden would be my choice too but obviously depends on Kamaki's work location.
