- only about 25 % - 30 % of girls speak some English

- Bydgoszcz is an ugly, boring, industrial shithole

- there are just few clubs, and they usually stink (as in bad smell)

- realistically, 99% of the erasmus groupies are older unattractive women (almost always under 5.5/10 rating)

Quotes from spalex about Bydgoszcz:

"Beggars
Fucking everywhere!

Going out
Belvedere is still expensive.
Everyone still smokes.
Every guy has a shit haircut and wears a bum-bag (seriously, a fanny-pack. I wish i was fucking joking!).
When you finally find someone that speaks good conversational English, only about 30% of the time, it is somebody that you wouldn't mind talking to.
Find a good looking girl that speaks English, most of the time she is some geek that you couldn't be bothered talking to.

Also. Whenever you hear "Oh yeah they speak English", don't get your hopes up.

Warm Drinks
So I still get excited and happy when I walk into a gas station and beer is readily available at dirt cheap prices.
BUT!
None of the fridges are turned on. Or they are at the lowest setting.
If I am lucky, I can dig out all the beers at the front and the last two beers at the back will be at a good temperature.
This happens almost every fucking time!

Jokes on them, it uses EXACTLY the same amount of electricity to run a fridge on full load as it does on the lowest setting. Once you have gotten it to that temperature that is (which doesn't use that much electricity anyway)

No Change
Every time I buy something, the shop keeper asks me if I have the exact change.
They have hundreds of people walking in and out of here every fucking day, you would think they would be a little prepared. Especially considering the bank machines only give out 50's, 100's and 200's.
Nobody likes walking around with a pocket full of change. So no, I didn't bring the exact change with me.
Yet they this give you this shitty look when you don't have exactly 27.96zl on you.

The roads
Every fucking road is fucked!
You want to go across the country? Yeah just that this one lane country road behind a truck convey for 9 hours, but be sure to change your shock absorbers before AND after.

Parking
Every fucking cunt thinks it is acceptable to park over 2 parking spots. So the next dickhead goes to park next to him and surprise surprise he is parked over 2 spots.
I swear, car parks can only get to about 70% capacity due to this.
stupidity is so contagious here."

That other thread applies to all of Poland.

My last post was purely about picking up women here compared to picking up women in the bigger major cities.

I still think its an ugly, boring shithole where nobody can drive for shit and most of the men here are hideous sub-humans.

But as I have been getting paid to sit at home recently and I have been spending most of that time out drinking, I have found that I have been getting swamped with Erasmus Groupies.
Granted lots of them don't speak good, conversational English, but they are there.

There is another fucking awesome perk to living in Poland I forgot to mention in this thread... When you wake up hungover and hungry, you can call up KFC and they will deliver to you.

In the past few months in Poland, only once did I see a very pretty Polish girl with a Spanish-looking foreigner.

Spanish guys used to get hotter girls in Poland, but their quality is decreasing. The hottest girls I see are going to Polish guys with a guy-next-door cleancut look.

Also in 2011 I used to see some really ugly guys with pretty girls. I hardly see that anymore. Maybe I'm used to the slavic man look, but girls have moved their standards way up.

Would you still recommend living in Poland in 2015? Krakow seems like one of the greatest "value cities" in Europe. I'm a younger, tan-looking dude who could appear to be your distant cousin. I'm also into blondes, but can't really afford to live in a Nordic city at the moment. Not to mention I need a cheap city to live in to bootstrap an e-business.

I would do Saigon solely for its business-op potential, but I'm selfishly not interested Asian girls.

Krakow or Wroclaw seem to be my best options (I have EU citizenship) but I'm keeping my mind open. I'm just trying to bounce out of the States immediately.

I'm not a big fan of Krakow at all, you are swamped by annoying tourists all day, the night-life is lack lustre, and the quality seems lower that many other cities

I don't agree with magicone actually.

I've been living and working in Poland, Krakow, for almost one year and a half, and what he described was mostly the girls you might expect to meet in nightclubs.

Having polish female friends, who have a decent situation, a job in a big company, some responsibilities, I would say the average of slutiness among them is around 5%. The remaining 95% don't go to nightclubs, or they do it for a special occasion like birthday of a friend of them, celebrating a promotion or something like that. But when in nightclubs, they dance like slut, with different guys they don't know and if you don't know them you can think they are party girls. But it's the opposite actually. Most of them are engaged, married or when they are single they are not dating often.

When I read what magicone wrote, it was obvious that he was talking about very particular polish girls : mostly students, studying in a big city but coming from a village, below 25, partying a lot, etc. But it represents a very small amount of the girls' panel actually. I did meet this kind of girls but it is not representative of the polish girls.

If you come to Poland for a couple of weeks and you party a lot 3 or 4 days per week, then you will meet this kind of girls. Back home, you will tell your friends how polish girls are slutty and whatever. But definitely, it won't reflect the truth about how polish girls behave.

Polish girls are nice but they becomed afraid of foreigners, they know that we come there to have sex and leave them .We are all Playboys in their eyes . so the game must be good to convince them .

Totally agree. Except for a few select cities (i.e Barcelona, London, Paris etc) 85% of the available girls you'd like to meet have pretty normal lives...that don't involve going out to the clubs.

Clubs are just like any competitive battlefield/jungle, eventually it becomes harder and harder to score 8 and 9's unless you're willing to invest in a strong social circle or spend a lot of time in clubs and bars until you find a girl who happens to be available and the conditions are right for a hookup.

The best strategy is adaptability and being willing to try non conventional methods/ techniques such as grocery stores, travel a lot during the day and hitting up more places like gyms, swimming pools, cafes etc as if you were a local with a daily routine.

I agree with zuma about that type of girls who fall for that game.

i even experienced it myself haha. a couple of times when i visited my distant relatives in small towns or villages girls were very interested in me just because I'm the guy from big city and because next to the typical short haired potato-face looking polish dude i look quite exotic. so yeah those girls fall for guys who stand out in a positive way.

however girls from big cities are used to foreigners these days

But yeah you are right. I made a thread a long time ago about going to rural villages in Poland, because I wanted to know if other people got the same awesome reception I did.

If you are Polish.

For what I experienced, in both big cities or smaller towns, most of the girls don't have any interest in foreigners. Even if you speak some basic polish, they are just not interested at all. They will tell you it quickly - in Polish - and even some of them can be become aggressive, especially if they are with male friends.

Like said before, everybody witnessed that 95% of the prettiest polish girls are with polish guys. You have a remaining 5% of hot polish girls where all foreigners fight for, meaning extremely high competition.

The only way to reach these hot polish girls a part from the 5%, is social circle, stable status, speaking some polish and time. The only good thing is that money is not involved at any case, opposite to Ukrainie or Russia.

Even after some time, I'm still amazed by how polish girls don't care at all about the money you get, from average girl to hot girls. They always want to spread the bill, pay a drink after you paid one, etc.
In more than one year, 50 of times going to club and many dates, only one girl asked me a drink. And she was Ukrainian.

It hapenned to every foreigner that spent time in Poland so many times
that engaged, married polish girls, and girls that are claiming they are totally
in love with their boyfriends,
that they have ONS anal sex without protection few hours after they met
at the party some new stranger.

Actually from what you wrote, you confirm as well that those 95% who are not fully sluts, they however act like sluts with different guys that they don´t know when they go to parties.

Still you can find good sweet girls in Ukraine, Russia and very hardly and very rarely
in small villages in the eastern side of Poland, close to the border with Belarus or Ukraine.

This is totally not true IMO. From my experience, almost every single time I made some attempt at speaking Polish, both the guys and girls would be very impressed that I was trying to learn their language. Also, last year when I was in Wroclaw there was still some exotic factor among many girls (not just groupies who typically like foreigners). Even if the girl wasn't sexually interested, often I'd get a vibe that she found me different in a positive way. I know this might be surprising since there's so many foreigners in Poland (I'm Spanish btw) but it was certainly the case for me when I was there. I'm not saying that a girl will drop her panties as soon as she hears you speaking English but I think it is fair to say that many girls will find you at least somewhat interesting if you play it correctly.

As for the sluttiness of Polish girls, I actually banged a girl who openly told me she had a bf back at her village as well as two other girls who I think had a fight with their bf's and then slept with me as a result (one of them was definitely sluty, the other one was seeing a Polish guy who later became his bf but at the time, they were not yet into something serious, I'm not 100% sure).

Lower house of polish parliament moment ago ratified “Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence” (which is full of LGBT and gender equality crap). I expect it to be also ratified by Upper House and signed by president very soon. Another huge step for Poland to accept Westernization and their "values", sad day...

I know its been touched upon a thousand tomes, but which city do u recommend for a two weeks visit in april? Krakow or wroclaw or poznan? Will be first time in poland.

Im developping a dislike for loud clubs and prefer bars and lounges. Id also prefer if the city itself is interesting to hang out in.

It depends what you mean by "good sweet girl".
Is it a girl that is submissive, kind and faithful ?

Or are we talking of very pretty girls ?

For what I encountered, Ukrainian girls are less sweeter, in the meaning of being kind and caring, than Polish girls. Also, I found out that Polish girls are more fun in any context.

I got some interest from girls because I am foreigner. Once again, are we talking about hot girls or average girls? For sure, it's easy in Poland to meet/date average girls.
But if we talk about very pretty girls, then it's completely different and in this case, in my opinion, exotic factor is close to zero. It's an disadvantage actually.

Avoid first week of April because it's easter and in Poland it's almost like Christmas. Most of girls will be back to their hometown and everything is going slowly.

I only Krakow and barely Wroclaw.
You have huge scene of bars in Krakow but competition is hard, lot of tourists and foreigners/students.

As a 40 year-old male who has recently returned to the UK after living in Germany for 10 years, I have become utterly disillusioned with how the dating market in my home country of England has become, even though I've dated good-looking and slim girls in the past. The first problem a male encounters in the UK is the lopsided sex ratio of eligible single women to men; my own research, backed up by consulting official statistics from the ONS, shows that there are, at a conservative estimate, 150 single men competing for every 100 single women up until the age of 45. Perhaps because of this intense competition, women here have developed extremely entitled attitudes with a pronounced narcissistic streak that is often nauseating to behold - "stuck up" doesn't quite do justice to this pathological phenomenon, since their sense of their own self-importance borders on delusional in many instances. Add into this mix a very liberal dose of obesity, materialism and obsession with trashy American-style celebrity "culture" and you have the contemporary British female - brash, masculine and snarky to boot. Furthermore, their demeanour in public verges on the paranoid when in the presence of men, in the sense that they reflexively assume a posture of pretending to not even notice a man when he approaches them, with tactics such as looking to the side, to the floor, in the air - anywhere but to - God forbid - make eye contact with somebody from the male gender. I have lost count of the number of times when I've attended a social event recently and approached a woman around my age or younger offering a smile only for her to literally move her head to the side to avoid having to acknowledge me - behaviour which I have never experienced with women from other countries, not even in Germany. Incidentally, how much of what I've described here rings any bells for readers on here with experience of UK women, especially English women? I'm starting to think I'm losing the plot, assuming that it really can't be as bad as this, but nearly every time I encounter them I keep on seeing the same patterns of behaviour.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I have finally decided to spend some time in Poland, perhaps in Wroclaw, with a view to meeting women who would at least be open to meeting the opposite sex. I would be very interested to hear from those that have already experienced Polish women whether they possess such impenetrable bitch-shields as Anglo women and what their general manner is like when encountering them for the first time. Perhaps not surprisingly for my age, I'm looking more to day game rather than night game and would appreciate some advice, especially from older guys.

I would also be interested to know whether the male/female ratio that I spoke of earlier, which is obviously totally f*£ed up for men in the UK, is anywhere near as bad in Poland. For example, I have heard that in Wroclow the ratio of single women to single men is actually around 1.10, which would be the converse of the situation in the UK. Can anybody confirm this? Obviously not in the clubs at the weekend, no, but in everyday life?

Yes, but...

Poland still has the best average return on investment in my opinion. It may not be what it used to as Roosh alludes to, but for younger men with either limited financial means or working on their mid-tier game it is great, and the quality of life is not drastically inferior to anything in Western Europe for a very reasonable price.

More adventurous and experienced sorts should go to Serbia or Ukraine. Then there's the whole Cyrillic thing...

It depends: who are you, and what are you looking for?

Even if your answers are on the other end of the spectrum, I still vote that Poland has the best ROI overall. I'm not a fan of Krakow, TBH, but you can do much worse in your situation.

The fact of the matter is, as time inexorably advances places like Poland will decay but there are still good times to be had, and it is miles ahead of any Western European country.

I really appreciate your reply.

I'm just looking for an inexpensive flat to rent while I grow an online business and run some day game throughout the year.

I look at it like this: I can pay $450 USD per month for one bedroom in a shared house in the USA near a major southern city (Dallas, Houston, New Orleans etc). But that also requires paying for utilities, car insurance, gas & cell phone service. You get kind of "locked down" paying for a bunch of shit when you live in the States.

Or, I can live in Poland for roughly $450 rent per month + food & utilities, and have my own apartment. I'd eliminate the car insurance/gas payments.

It just seems like the all around economical choice to make (and the women are a huge bonus)!

Do you prefer Wroclaw over Krakow?

Preaching to the choir. Smile

On to the question: Wroclaw and Krakow both see a huge tourist/foreigner turn-over, which doesn't play to our strengths. I'm not really dogging on either of them, I'm just giving something that might be overlooked... it isn't quite Prague or the Baltics but you're not a shiny interesting foreigner like you would have been years ago unless you do something to set yourself apart (ex: make it clear you're living there, not just passing through, befriend locals, etc). And honestly, both are fine cities and it all comes down to personal preference so try to compile a list of traits in each from fellow RVF posters and make an informed bet.

For what it's worth, most Poles I speak to prefer Wroclaw (not that Krakow gets any shit, but most of the "ooooh I LOVE it there..." is reserved for Wroclaw). But I'm just a dude on the Internet who spoke to half a dozen locals. Smile
