I usually try and get her attention and then ask about directions or train service. They usually still take off their headphones but I do find that those type of girls don't stay engaged for very long. Actually, I might make this into its own thread. What do you think.

To be honest, I kind of rushed the writing of my post and feel like there are more specific things I can incorporate to make this clearer and more useful.

It'll be the definitive Subway Instadate Game Datasheet.

Super-comprehensive and fun topic. Don't want to "beat it to death," though. There are more important things to dwell on.

Granted 99.9995% don't want to hear it.

But for that 0000.00005%, it'll be out there and we can talk about it. I think it is fun.

By the way, I noticed I didn't answer your question about whether I exercise. To that, yeah.

As a matter of fact, I would take the train to a gym in Queens. Old school $20/month gym by Myrtle/Wyckoff. Downstairs was some sort of bar/covert brothel.

Anyway, after the workout I had a twelve minute train ride back home. I felt so good from the workout it would have been perfect to run a little subway game; but at that time I wasn't doing the Subway Game™. It was a weird point in my life.

You know what, I wish some other guys would get on here and share their Subway Game™ experiences, if they made it happen. Any challenges or ideas or stories.

Thing about game is, it's so subjective. It's hard to get over that magic "woo-woo" factor.

I think about my buddy and things he can do. He's like a sociopath. He can do things I dream about. But I'm not made up that way.

We all bring different game to the table.

That's why for 99.9999996% of people, Subway Game™ is not even something in their realm of reality, and maybe not even in their imagination.

But who needs the train when you can just get a sick place with a view?

It's all about good target selection. Look for girls that seem approachable.

Makes me want to move to a big city with a subway system. there are great daygame tips in general here. Whenever you have to go somewhere no one really wants to be but have to be. DMV, pharmacy, etc.

Makes me want to move to a big city with a subway system. there are great daygame tips in general here. Whenever you have to go somewhere no one really wants to be but have to be. DMV, pharmacy, etc.

NYC seems to be the place where women are more susceptible but in general on metro subways people tend to keep to themselves. That is my experience from places like London.

It's rarely an issue. They are usually happy to take them off and chat.

Here are some basic strategies that I have used over the years:

1) Make Eye Contact and Smile - Like saying "hi" without speaking. If she smiles back, go open her.

2) Speak a Little Louder - Sometimes the volume on their headphones is very low. I have opened girls wearing headphones and they answered me without hesitation. Sometimes, I don't even think they had the thing turned on.

3) Fake it - Move your mouth like you are saying something, but don't actually make a sound. Just pretend to say something. Often times, they will take off their headphones and say "what", or "were you talking to me", or "excuse me".

4) The Shoulder/Arm Tap - She has to respect your confidence for doing this, but it could scare her if you're not careful. Don't do it from behind her. Its helps to make a little eye contact and smile before you touch her.

5) Ignore the Headphones and Approach Normally - This is what I do most of the time. I approach her as if she was not wearing any headphones. Most of the time, they take the earphones out and say, "sorry, were you talking to me", "oh, what was that", or something similar.

Don't be scared away by earphones! Aggressively plow right through them!

I know girls use headphones to scare away timid men. Thus, they often respect the men whop ignore them.

@Gio, I wish some day I will have the lack of approach anxiety like you. For now, I'm gonna stick to the non-headphone girls.

By the way, funny thing happened to me last night while I was day-gaming on U street in Washington, DC and I would like to see if you guys have had this happen to you? I was basically cock-blocked by a white knight. It was evening time and I had gotten buzzed to minimize my approach anxiety. Once I was in the mood I started approaching girls on the street and just asking for directions or making "nice" comments on their clothes. One girl I stopped on the street and told her "I liked your style" as she was wearing a short flower skirt. The girl gave me a thrown and kept walking. I was a bit pissed so I yelled "hold up, I got a question". She momentarily stopped then....

A guy was walking hand-in-hand with his gf on the street and saw the interaction. He stopped and told me "stop hitting on the girls...they wanna be left alone". My target girl heard this, looked at me (as if to say this random guy is right) and proceeded to walk away. At this point I snapped as I had lost the opportunity to game this cute girl and told the stranger to "fuck off"...when he heard that he was ready to rush me but I stood my ground and gave him one of those "you wanna fight" looks. He mumbled something under his breath to his girl and walked off.

So, my question is have any of you guys experienced jealousy or confrontation from girls/guys when doing street approaches? Here in DC there are all these feminist blogs and newspapers writing about a "chronic catcalling" problem. I've done a bit of that myself but never really thought that something like that may lead to a fight

When she walked away and you hollered at her, you had already lost her - also you began to cross the line.

Also when you start getting drinks while attempting Daygame (evening Daygame is still Daygame), then you are not taking it seriously enough. You need your wits about you - read some books by Krauser - many pro Daygamers are copying his approach anyway in their models.

Of course the White Knight was wrong, but you were needlessly prolonging the interaction with the girl as well.

That stuff rarely happens, because well-done Daygame looks very natural.

This is also no reason to beat a White Knight to a pulp.

Possible answers:

"Who says that I was hitting on her? She had a cute interesting look and I was just wondering whether she is worth hitting on. There is nothing wrong with a little friendly chat."

"You would be surprised how many girls love to talk to men who have the balls to approach them with style. It sometimes literally makes their day."

Hollering at a girl is almost useless unless it is highly dependent on the circumstances. I sometimes shout at a group of girls across the street who obviously are going to a night club. But that is only done to stop them. Since they are buzzed and in party mood, they stop and you can talk to them for real. But that is a specific situation that is in no way comparable to Daygame.

Cool. I'm putting this on my wishlist. There are way, way too many cute women on the subway for me not to talk to them. One of my favorite approaches of all time happened while waiting for a train.

I wouldn't mind spending a month or two solely perfecting subway game.
