Long story short, she is from another country and I met her while traveling, we spent an evening together. Went to dinner, enjoyed it but did not get a chance to kiss due bad logistics.
We have stayed in touch via FB and she admitted she really likes me, noone like me where she lives, and she wonders what it would be like to kiss me, wants to see me again. In a few days we are meeting again in a foreign country and traveling around for 5 days.

Now she asked me to learn a poem in my language and told she will learn a poem in her language, then we can tell it to eachother.

This is not normal coming from her AFAIK but I can't really put a finger on it. How to respond to it? Learn smth with a twist?

funky has the right idea. If your native language was spanish, I would say to learn something by pablo neruda. The women absolutely go nuts for his work. Actually hell, you might want to go with something by him anyways.

Unless you can see her again soon, dont bother. I got roped into a similar situation but we did kiss. Get on skype every night talking till 2am only for her to become ice cold when I decide to fly over to meet up. Girls want attention and the easiest way to get it is online where she has no commitment whatsoever.

We have been talking online since May, have already booked the flights for this trip a month ago, accommodation, and all. She has hinted she would like to move to my country one day, so I'll take it as an IOI.

'If she doesnt show up no worries'. Dude you've said booked in advance etc. She IS meeting you make sure of it. Dont try to be cool and pretend you dont care. You have gone to alot of effort it sounds like it. you will meet but if she doesnt show up I would go off at her.  Then id be over it a few minutes later and enjoy the trip.

Dont kid yourself. You are going to see and fuck her. If she doesnt show up (why do I have a bad feeling about this...) she is wasting your time and money, big. Be assertive and go for what you want.

Next time dont plan a trip with a girl you havent fucked. I learned it the hard way.

Alright.

I would have gone on this trip alone too, just not already. Would have postponed it for a few months.

I doubt it's a joke because when we met she didn't let me pay for the dinner and told me I can get the next one. We have stayed in touch. After our meeting we agreed to send postcards - I sent her a simple one, she sent me a big box of goodies and a long hand written letter. Tells me she is really turned on when thinking about me when she is drunk sometimes and is really looking forward to seeing me again. Shares about her family and asks about mine. Just sent me a message that she will be on her way to the airport soon.

I doubt this is a joke. Anyway, then the joke is on me and lesson learned. I will just switch from double room to a shared room in a hostel, meet new people and see things I have wanted to see.

Met up, had fun, was actually a nice mini relationship. Like winning a lottery, considering how bad it all could have gone.

Next time I will not plan a trip with a girl I have not had sex with. Thanks.
