She says these women spend all their time going back and forth to "conferences" and bringing wacky, ill-informed ideas back to campus. This is probably why we see weirder and weirder ideas in this area each year. They have to generate hysteria to keep themselves employed.

For example, the latest coming out of this college is that commenting on a woman's shoes or using the words "boyfriend" or "girlfriend" are now microaggressions.

(Regarding Sommers: I know she's become persona non grata because she's come down on Roosh on Twitter and was in favor of firing Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski.

I strongly disagree with her on those issues, but believe she is very right when she sticks with what she knows best: the excesses and insanity of college feminism. I don't think Sommers is well-informed on issues outside of her area of expertise, but her critique of college feminists in this video is dead-on.)

UNC has always had a very vocal liberal minority and nothing from your post would surprise me if it is true. However, thankfully the school administrators appear to have more backbone than those at U of Missouri or Yale and they wanted to make their position on microaggressions clear:
