The last time I walked down Higashi Gaien Dori in the Pong, it felt like walking in a Wild West set. That was 2 years ago so god knows what it's like now.

Great information to have. Ties with the Japanese Mafia perhaps? Stagnant or corrupt police? At any rate I am aware and will spread the word.

RE: Tokyo Datasheet and a Basic Guide to Japanese Girls
Great new info on Tokyo/Japan. Japan is definitely not pussy paradise and requires a long term investment to reap the benefits. I visited many different cities in Japan over the course of 6 weeks and I will echo what was mentioned on this thread about Roppongi in general: It is not what it may have been years ago. As a matter of fact, in the major cities of Japan ('Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe etc.) being a gaijin has little to no value by itself. Additionally, Gaijin is gaijin, weather you're white or black. This thread, along with the thread "Bang Osaka" by Sargon (for white guys looking to run game in Japan) and the detailed info written by AmericanInEurope (for black guys looking to run game in Japan) still holds true for Japan today. To do well in Japan today you need to invest in:

1. The Japanese language - Conversational Level to Advanced
2. Wardrobe. Japanese girls have impeccable style. For black guys, roll GQ, G-Manifesto style, even during the summer months.

Pipelining is not very necessary for Japan.

Are you sure about pipeligning?.. Wouldn't that help you to screen for girls who can speak english?

I agree with the general consensus that Daygame is king in japan. The quality of girls you see online will NOT reflect the quality of the talent on the ground. Not even close. Girls who speak English in Japan is already a miniscule percentage, and the percentage of that population that's online is even smaller. You'll be able to screen for girls who can speak English, but your choices will be severely limited. Additionally, when you get to Japan and see what's on the ground, you'll completely forget about what you saw online.

My first thought after watching this video was "I wonder what RVF's Japan experts would think of this?"

RE: Tokyo Datasheet and a Basic Guide to Japanese Girls
@Deluge.
That's pretty common for a lot if foreign guys who aren't here long. I know one veteran who still does that and gets pussy on a decent basis, but his quality is pretty low and he approaches maybe 10+ times more women than I do.

The dude in the video was right, it goes to your head pretty quickly. He'll grab ass, whip his dick out, take girls to dark places and just start fingering them... Some girls are totally into it. Fucking strangers and even rape scenarios are hugely popular fantasies over here. However, he has to slam on the brakes a lot. I've actually stopped going out with him because he blows out perfectly good sets far more often than he lands them. He's even had girls agree to go home with him only to end up literally running out.

It can work for the I'm-too-cool-to-give-a-shit foreign guys in the short term or in Tokyo because it's just wall-to-wall people and you're bound to find something (Nagoya has a decent night scene, so it might be good there too). I don't recommend it, however.

Memcpy might be the best person to talk about this subject. From what I understand, his street game in Tokyo is essentially a toned down version of that. I'd say the arrogant silliness is a display of value that appeals not only to Japanese women's hypergamy, but to their Confucian ideals as well.

RE: Tokyo Datasheet and a Basic Guide to Japanese Girls
Update for this thread:

I'm in Tokyo for the second time. I've been here 2-3 weeks and will be here for a couple more weeks. Running lots of game, various tactics. For the record I'm 41 (look early 30s) white guy, super limited Japanese.

-- Looking for a daygame wing, Shibuya area

LINE. Get the LINE app. Works over WIFI and almost everyone -- guys and girls -- have it. I have 12 new LINE friends with about 10 days of going out.

Neighborhoods. I'm staying Shibuya, very nice apartment, small, 2 mins from Shibuya station, $2200 for 5 weeks. About $70/night, which is better than $85/night I paid last year. Shibuya is a "darling" sweetheart neighborhood where I feel safe everywhere (and I go out of my way to get in trouble), whereas Roppongi is a filthy mess, by my standards in terms of on the sidewalk, but I have had several fun adventures there (including I think my favorite Japanese meal of my life, a place I found by accident).

English. I would say the girls here barely speak English. Some do, but most do not. And I've had some very interested girls where we just couldn't get past the English barrier. With that said, my Spanish is okay and I can communicate better here than in Spain or Costa Rica. Overall, I think there's an openness, and non-verbals go a long way. I've had some excellent times w/ girls (not pulls, just great moments) with girls that clearly couldn't understand me, but liked me anyway. I work the non-verbals. You can develop some non-verbal routines pretty quick if you have to... I do a lot of the same things in almost every interaction.

Clubs. Feria in Roppongi is great mainstream club, more on the hip hop side than EDM. 4000Y for guys, comes w/ 2 drinks. Packed, Int'l crowd, multiple floors. Lots of English speakers. I suck at SNPs, but the first time I was there I went home w/ a girl (mid 30s, hot by that clubs standards). Great time... number closed a really lovely one last week, no response to text. In Shibuya, this club Shibuya Sound Museum has been great for SF-style bass music (hip hopish). 2 Fridays in row, great time, great crowd, hundreds of people, 3000Y, 1 drink. Went to Camelot last Thur, sess pool, smokey, lame, gross club. Womb... been several times, will probably skip it this year, I have better options (and I don't like EMD)... but I did get a day2 lay from that place last year, girl from Korea on vacation. Air... very local feeling, not-central, hip hop club, don't recommend it for game. There is a Gaspanic in Shibuya right by the Scramble... divey, gnarly, low-end hip hop, but I like that kind of place sometimes. Club Asia seems to be well promoted, but I hate that club... never had a good time there, but maybe I've been on bad nights.

Shibuya Bars. HUB, everyone likes the Hub. Tons of sharks in there, aggressive Aussies. Local guys are drunk, mild, funny and relentless hit on j-girls, which I find hysterical to watch. Drunkest girls I've seen in Japan. I like Shibuya Hubs better than Roppongi Hubs. The Scramble Bar is a nice meet market right across from the station. I like that place... honest meat market. I'm mostly a club guy at night, so that's all I've got there.

Daygame... this is what I really want to talk about. I'm maybe 20 sets in, first time daygaming in a foreign country, I'm only about 500 sets into daygame in general, but plan on adding another 100 here in the next 2 weeks. To me... it's exactly like home in SF, but with better girls (but, I hit on a lot of Asian girls at home). Today's stats: 12 sets -- 3-4 blowouts where she either never looked up, or snaps away and keeps going, 2 where I gave up on the language issue, 1 where she had to go (I plowed a bit, she meant it), 3-4 that hooked, 3 of which I bailed on because I didn't like her upclose and 1 I number closed... we're chatting online, she kinda cute, speaks English, uni student. That's the 2nd one I've number closed in the last few days, last one was harder. Both are chatting with me.

...daygame for me, is almost exactly like home, stats are almost identical, and I haven't really been "on" yet. Looking fwd to a real "on" day.

Coffee Shops. If we have any remote worker types... coffee shop game is really awesome for me. I've number closed another girl that way, also chatting a bit. Being regular, gets you that social circle feeling. Stay away from the biggest Starbucks near the station, and look for coffee places around universities... I have to work, a least a bit, everyday, and I am loving coffee shop game. People stay in a coffee place for like 8 hours. Lots of intense eye contact, I'd done some direct approaches, about as hot as anything else here. Everyone is super nice to me.

Final note... it's essentially just like home for me, w/ +1 for hotter girls (I love Asian girls, especially J-girls), and -1 for English. Wash. And that makes sense. Game is game.

I'm going to put in my time and see how I do... need to ramp up Daygame. Anybody want to join?? I'm going to do 2-4 days a week, 2 hours each. I'm here for 2 more weeks.

When I get back I will try to join you. You might try studying some conversational Japanese and vocabulary while you're sitting the in the coffee shop. You can use it for approaching asking some girl to help you with a language question. Have you memorized the katakana and hiragana? It's not as hard as it seems at first.

RE: Tokyo Datasheet and a Basic Guide to Japanese Girls
UPDATE: TWO "CLOSING TIMES" IN TOKYO

I have been thinking about this and wanted to add another note.

If you like bar/club game, and like the part where everyone is a little wasted (and I do), there are two "closing times" on a normal party night... this is different than it would be for me in SF.

1.) SUBWAYS STOP at MIDNIGHT. I know this is common knowledge, but most folks talk about how it applies to late night logistics.

It also means that a segment of folks party early, are wasted/fun early, and are completely gone by midnight. That's somewhat true everywhere, but especially true in Tokyo. So, for instance, I didn't have dinner until midnight last night, and by the time I was done, the streets were almost empty. Trains are done, so most people are done for the night.

There's a huge crop of game for pre-midnight crowd. Not a bad strategy to go out at 9, hit it hard, and plan being done by 11:45. I'm not doing enough of this as I like clubs.

2.) CLUB GAME. The second "last call" doesn't exist, not really. 3, 4 AM, at least, clubs are pretty packed. You still have that late night hookup culture, but this is now a "second crop." The "midnight folks" are asleep, but the "club folks" are ready to go home.

You might consider 1 or the other, if you don't want to be out all night. In terms of sheer numbers, I think the pre-midnight is maybe a better strategy.

Okay.... I'm going out for the night. Cheers.
