Serious question. Do you guys think that this a necessary part of a Don Juan's grooming routine or strictly optional?

I always notice a girl's finely manicured nails and toe nails. Doing yours the DIY way never looks as good.


*Note: maybe this is a sign that I've faced one too many rejections. Feels like I'm nitpicking everything now.

Nothing wrong with it at all.

No different than taking care of your skin.

Just don't get a clear coat on them.

If a guy thinks that having crusty Shrek like feet is 'manly' than he's insecure as fuck.

If it's good enough for Michael Jordan, it's good enough for me.

You can also game the cute asian girls working at the joint.

There's nothing wrong with getting a manicure or a pedicure.

Personally, I clip mine myself and use a nail file to get it perfect. Saves me money and I don't notice the difference. Like to keep my nails short, and going all the time would cost me some money that could be used elsewhere better.

If you want to get your nails done, do it. I won't shame you, and your nails will look fantastic.

Where I grew up all the guys with crooked noses got them done. Facials too. Doesn't get much more alpha or manly than those guys.

I just keep mine cut short and neat.

Nothing more gross than overgrown finger and toe nails with black sticky crap in them.

Here in Latin America if you don't have your nails right you're considered a bum, male or female. And that includes your feet any time you're wearing sandals or anything open-toe.

Lol, true...I've seen some horror shows.

To be honest something deep inside me is conflicted because I feel like broads will be giving me looks. So now I'll do it, just to stretch my comfort zone

This makes a GREAT day time date with a girl--the only times I have got them is with girls.

Plus, some of the little Asian ladies give you hot rock leg massages. I tell them to make mine last real long because I'm not getting my nails polished like my date.

It's a bonding experience...but I wouldn't do it with a first date...more with a really high quality chick who I wanted around for a while.

This may sound a bit abrasive but I'm just being honest.

For people saying not to do it: Are you driven to say that by your ego or your balls?

At the very least it doesn't hurt and if it makes you look good why not.

Agree with CMQ - don't let them make you look like a girl though.

Nothing wrong with it all. Women love a man who is well groomed and takes care of himself. Also you will feel more confident about yourself also when your out and about. Anyone who is telling you not to do it is definitely insecure with themselves.

I get a pedicure every now and then (I like having the Asian lizards hammering my soles and rubbing my calves with lotion).

You can do it if you want..whatever works and whatever you like.
