I owned a company in Cebu back in 2006, and some of the most desirable, smart college educated, beautiful women who hadn't dated Westerners were very interested. I think they'd have put-out (I knew them well as my employees and friends) because they think that's a requirement based on their following US movies and TV. Dumaguete is far more sheltered from the world, thought. I like it. Been twice but don't claim to know/understand it.

Great point. Cebu seemed great for the open-minded chicks. I think that the reputational thing isn't as pronounced in Cebu because of the size of the place and the fact that girls generally don't give a shit. Here in Dumaguete everyone is watching everyone so you have to choose which chick you like.

Yesterday I spoke to a Filipino-American guy in Los Angeles (friend of a friend) who was just in Boracay. He said he went bar hopping there and he couldn’t get laid.

He said the local women thought he was a local and they wouldn’t believe him when he said he had an American passport. He said the local Filipinas were after Arab and white guys.

To be honest this guy isn’t much of a physical specimen, he’s around 5’6”, wear glasses and he’s not a good looking guy. He thinks I would do OK there because a lot of women might think I’m Arab (I’m British Indian). I might have to make my way over there one day and see for myself…

Walterblack I think it has long been confirmed that the Philippines is friendly to foreigners that look foreign. Being a Filipino going to the Philippines is like bringing sand to the beach. If you have excellent game you will do ok. But the high society native Filipinos speak great British/Australian/American English so the women will very well think you are lying about being a foreigner from the get go if you a Filipino.

I am going to do a first of something: faking making a baby just to enjoy the sex! Having been in this country for a few months now, I've amassed a few more general observations on the women:

- Assuming you sometimes repeat with girls, you will inevitably run into their insane jealousy. Filipinas are extremely jealous birds. So jealous that it can be annoying as fuck at times. Many Filipinas use jealousy as a way of expressing their feelings, so there is a considerable cultural difference at play. For westerners, jealousy is bad. For Filipinos it’s good - within reason of course. So as long as the chick isn't batshit crazy, you should try to go along with her jealousy and treat it as a something cute.

- Oral sex seems to be more taboo here than in other countries. Bizarrely, it’s actually easier to bang a girl than get her to blow you. Stories (legends?) of prostitutes refusing to give blowjobs because of their “religion” may actually be true. Not that girls won’t do it, but there is often considerable resistance involved.

- Girls seem to get off on making drama for each other. What’s more, when they want a man they will stop at nothing. They will even steal him away from their best friend. Make no mistake, they are absolutely ruthless!

- The most rampant sluts will cook, clean and do your groceries for you. It’s simply a given here. This one really gets westerners who think they found a quality chick because they aren’t used to this kind of treatment. Don’t buy into the good girl act until you are 100% sure about who she is.

- Girls in Visaya (including Cebu) seem to be more passionate in bed than the ones in Manila. While I have banged less girls out here in the provinces (7 in 2 months I think), the sex has actually been better. This may just be my limited personal data so maybe someone with more experience than me can chip in on this one.

- Filipinas get off on being told what to do. Talking in commanding language is the way to go. This might be true of all women (i.e. always LEAD) but you need to be particularly direct here. That’s been my experience anyway.

- Finally, the one that really bears repeating. If you met her online, she is probably a slut. I say this without any real harsh judgment. Sluts are better than total prudes (ask Indian men!). Just enjoy them for what they are.

Anyone noticed that the locals ALL have the same grammaar mistakes. When they want to ask you Where will you stay when you are in Manila, instead what comes out of their mouth is "Where did you stay in Manila?" They completely confuse past tense and and future tense which is pathetic. Also, instead of saying when you arrive in Manila text me, they say "if you are in Manila, text me" And when you come back from the market, they ask you "where are you from?" so it will be like as if I am born in the market! What bugs the hell outta me is why in the world are the exact same mistakes made by everyone in this country? Do the schools teach all of them the same basura English grammar? lol

That's funny because I experienced the opposite. The 19 year maid at my Airbnb told me she would blow me but not fuck me because she's a virgin and wants to go to heaven.

Local language, Cebuano(Visayan), then Tagalog, then English will come third inline.

I'm not sure about that order, but I can't confirm as i don't speak tagalog to judge . If you have lived in Cebu your whole life there is little to no reason to use Tagalog except what's been forced from the media and maybe in certain jobs, where as English is used daily and many words are merged into Visayan language as well. Switch the languages and it's the same thing in Manila, but with an even weaker Second Filipino language, Tagalog is dominant and is kinda been forced on everyone else. If a Cebu girl is talking to a Manila girl it's going to be in Tagalog or English because the girl from Manila is going to speak poor Visayan. Many people move to Manila from other Islands looking for better work, so there's still a lot of Visayan speakers there. As for local tribal languages i don't any Rooshv's are going to be interacting with them.

I would say:
Manila: Tagalog > English > Visayan
Cebu: Visayan > English = Tagalog

I thought I would add a little something else. In Davao, I used to ahve this extremely annoying phenomena of girls telling me online that they saw me in Davao. this ruins my new guy status in Davao. For those that are long term in the Philippines, each time you chat a new girl to meet do you do what I do?
